CHAPTER 45: CHAPTER 45: DEMON’S AGAIN

The sky stretched endlessly above, clouds drifting lazily across a backdrop of shimmering light. From within the Sanatan Flame Sect’s Dark Pearl ship, a faint shimmer reflected off the hull, the massive vessel emerging from a bank of clouds like some celestial beast.

At the very front edge of the deck stood Shaurya, his gaze locked downward on the vast mountain ranges below. The wind tugged at his robes as he opened the golden system window, a map glowing faintly in front of him.

His brows furrowed.

"The location is showing nearby... but all I can see are mountains," he thought, his posture leaning forward in a thinking pose.

Behind him, his sect members milled about—some standing, some sitting, a few bored out of their minds. No one wore a worried expression.

The Dark Pearl slowed, hovering above a cluster of towering peaks. Four massive mountains encircled a central area shrouded in thick, swirling mist.

Lin Shu peered down from the railing. Wang Tian and Luo Chen stood up sharply, excitement lighting their faces.

Lee Bie grinned wide. "Did we reach? I can’t wait to beat them!"

Lin Shu tilted her head. "Why did we stop here?"

Shaurya glanced at his map again. "It’s showing we’ve arrived at the location... but all I see is mountains and fog."

A system notification popped up. [If you want, I can tell you.]

Shaurya’s mouth twitched. "No need, you robber."

He focused again, eyes narrowing as he scanned the scene.

Lin Shu walked over, frowning. "Hey, are you ignoring me?"

Shaurya snapped out of his thoughts, turning quickly to face her angry pout. "No... no! How could I ignore you? I was just thinking about something."

Elder Liya stepped forward. "So, Sect Leader, where is that organization’s base?"

"It must be here somewhere." Shaurya’s eyes returned to the mist-covered valley.

"Something’s not right... this mist, these four peaks—it’s like they’re protecting whatever’s in the center," he thought.

Closing his eyes, Shaurya drew in a slow breath. When he opened them again, his pupils glowed bright, a golden wheel-shaped chakra pattern forming within. He used his Immortal Eye Technique.

His Immortal Eye pierced the mist. His eyes widened. Hidden beneath the fog was a towering seven-floor structure, surrounded by smaller huts and tents, with a vast open ground littered with massive boulders. A purple protective formation encased the entire area.

"They really hid it well... mountains, mist, and a formation," he thought, impressed.

Lin Shu and Elder Liya exchanged glances.

"What are you looking so impressed about?" Lin Shu asked.

"You’ll find out soon enough," Shaurya replied with a smile.

He guided the Dark Pearl forward, steering it toward the mist. Golden aura burst from his body, and his disciples stood at once, shocked by the sudden release.

With a bright grin, Shaurya slam his right foot slightly forward. Golden barrier flared around the entire ship as it plunged into the mist. Lightning from the fog crackled against the barrier, harmlessly dispersing.

"This mist is some kind of formation," Wang Tian observed.

Lee Bie’s eyes gleamed. "Finally, I can beat those punks!"

The ship broke through, revealing the headquarters of the Black Venom Assassin Organization.

"I didn’t expect their base to be hidden here," Lin Shu said. "How did you find it?"

Shaurya smirked. "Because I’m the Leader." He winked, earning a faint blush from Lin Shu, who quickly looked away.

Elder Liya chuckled. Su Quan and Muo Qian blushed as they whispered:

"Wow, Master and Elder Lin are a match made in heaven. Su Quan said."

"You’re absolutely right. Muo Qian added."

"All of you," Shaurya called out, "get ready to destroy these bastards!"

"YEEAAHHH!!" the disciples roared.

Inside the tower’s dark basement, a woman sat on a black throne behind a curtain. Slowly, the veil dissolved, revealing her full appearance—tall, jade-white skin, long purple hair and eyes, pink lips, clad in black-and-red armor robes. She’s a demon wrapped in angle like appearance.

Her long purple nails tapped the crystal ball before her, displaying the scene outside. She smiled faintly. "I never thought they could find me... interesting toys indeed."

She sent out a transmission message: Kill them all. Leave no one alive.

Her voice echoed across the entire base—and even Shaurya’s disciples heard it.

"Master, where’s that voice coming from?" Xiao Rui asked.

"Probably their leader," Shaurya said casually.

Assassins poured from the tower and surrounding huts, surrounding the area—but none stepped beyond the purple barrier.

"Oh, so you want to play like this? Fine." Shaurya’s eyes glowed as he again use his immortal eye and examined the formation, spotting its weak point.

He raised his flame-covered hand, snapped his fingers. "Blazing Arrow."

A fiery projectile shot forth at bullet speed, striking the barrier’s weak point.

BOOM!

The shield cracked, then shattered into pieces.

The assassins’ eyes widened in shock. Even the woman in the tower leaned forward, surprised.

Shaurya grinned. "Alright, my dear disciples—show them your wrath!"

The disciples prepared to charge, but Elder Liya’s aura flared, halting them.

"You male disciples, stop. You always steal the spotlight."

The men stared at each other, dumbfounded.

"This time," Lin Shu said, "let us handle the front line." She glanced at Shaurya, who was caught between surprise and amusement.

"Ok, fine," he sighed. "Ladies first. But don’t push yourselves too hard."

The female disciples cheered, leaping into action.

Elder Liya led the charge with Lin Shu, their blades flashing. The assassins met them in a clash of steel. 10 female disciples with two elders clashing with the assaisans head on. Disciples are killing them with ease.

"Disciples, watch closely," Elder Liya commanded.

Pink light surrounded her blade as lotus petals swirled around her. "Sword Shine: Lotus Petal Slash!"

A wave of pink energy turned into countless glowing petals, slicing through the assassins. Hundreds fell in one strike, blood spraying into the air.

"When we return to the sect, I’ll teach you this," she said calmly.

The disciples got excited after hearing this.

Lin Shu blurred forward, surrounded by blue aura. Her sword shine with a storm of blue light. "Thousand Sword Strike!"

Countless energy swords formed, launching forward in a deadly wave. Screams filled the air—over a thousand assassins fell instantly.

Shaurya watched in awe.

One after another, the female disciples unleashed powerful techniques, cutting down foes with ease.

Shaurya surprised thinks in his heart."When did they become that stronger?"

System replied. "When you are sleeping."

Shaurya gave system a irritated look.

The woman in the tower snarled, releasing a burst of dark purple aura. "Minotaur Brothers! Vulture!"

Three monstrous figures entered—two towering bull-headed humanoids, one red and one blue, wielding massive axes, and a vulture-headed warrior with steel armor and a long spear.

"You have complete freedom. Kill as much as you want," the woman ordered.

The trio laughed and vanished into the battle.

Shaurya noticed his female disciples growing tired. "Enough! You all did great—don’t push yourselves."

The male disciples leapt from the Dark Pearl, shaking the ground as they landed. Their aura surged, cutting through the assassins like a storm.

Bodies piled high, blood soaking the earth.

Suddenly, the tower gates creaked open, and the Minotaur Brothers emerged, eight feet tall, their demonic aura suffocating.

"Demons?" Shaurya muttered. "What are these Demons doing in here. Wherever I go I found them. Am I a demon magnet or what?"

The brothers introduced themselves, Red as Crimson and blue as Sapphire, generals of the organization.

Wang Tian and Luo Chen stepped forward to face them.

Wang Tian with a smirk. "Demons? They are working as a assassins?"

Luo Chen with a smile. "This is something new. But who cares. We just have to beat them.

They both rushed towards them. The Minatoar Brothers also rushed meeting them head on

Steel clashed with steel, shockwaves cracking the ground.

Up above, Shaurya watching the fight. "Both the Minatoar Brothers are at Golden Vien Stage Lev4, but Wang Tian is at Golden Vien Stage Lev1 and Luo Chen at Core formation Lev12."

Shaurya surprised to see thier improvement. "They really improved very well. But still they are weak against the demon brother."

Suddenly, the vulture demon appeared behind Shaurya, thrusting his spear at Shaurya’s back.

Shaurya turned his head slightly, golden light flaring in his eyes. The spear struck his barrier harmlessly.

"You dare attack me?" He caught the weapon barehanded, the vulture’s eyes going wide in horror.

Scene shift back to Battle ground. Wang Tian and Luo Chen struggling to battle the Minatoar Brothers.

Luo Chen battling with Sapphire and Wang Tian Battling Crimson. Then, Sapphire hit a powerful fist on Luo Chen abdomen and blew him away, he stop himself by struking his feet at ground sliding backward. When he stop, he Cough blood.

Wang Tian Head on with Crimson. Both pushing eachother. Crimson roar releasing his aura and pushed wang Tian backward. Then Swung his axe and hit wang Tian with a purple Axe Slash. But Wang Tian stops it with his sword. But got blew backward hitting ground 3 times then collide with a boulder. Boom, breaked it in pieces and fall to ground. But quickly stands up while coughing blood.

Luo Chen comes at his side, with a smirk. " We got beaten very badly this time. Half of my body bones are broken."

Wang Tian while trembling smiles. "That means we still have half non broken bones."

They both smiles.

The Minatoar Brothers raise thier axe to attack.

But before they could attack, something feel from sky before the Minotaur Brothers. They looked at it and got shocked. It’s the vulture’s severed head. They both looked up, seeing Shaurya smiling. Both brothers enraged. Rushed upward at Shaurya.

Before they could reach, Lin Shu and Elder Liya intercepted them mid air, they collided with eachother.

Crimson roared. "Step aside you weak womens."

Lin Shu and Elder Liya released their aura forcing them back with sheer strength.

Both brothers collide at ground dust erupts. Lin Shu and Elder Liya Descends to ground with elegance.

From Dust Minatoar Brothers charge at both ladies. But the ladies easily dodged the brothers’ wild swings. Thier Attack strike with ground erupting dust. The Minatoar Brothers with full anger attacked at them non stoped but the ladies dodge every attack very easily their movements are swift and fluid.

Suddenly, Lin Shu and Elder Liya disappeared infront of them. The brothers got shocked before they could understand Lin Shu and Elder Liya appears behind them and smashing their heads together then hit a powerful punch on thier face and sending them crashing into the tower wall.

Bleeding and furious, the brothers roar. Releasing dark aura.

Crimson with furiousness said. "You mere human’s now you are going to witness our ultimate technique.

Sapphire growled. "Think yourself lucky that you are going to get killed by our secret technique.

They both join thier hand together thier aura become more powerful. Shaurya confused. A black Energy Ball covered both brothers and start floating at the sky. Erupting Omnious Aura.

A Big Figure Emerged from that black energy ball. A purple colour Demon. The Minatoar Brothers got fused together into a gaint purple Minatoar Demon his height didn’t change much but he become more dangerous and muscular, wearing a black-armor. The demon’s level increase—Golden Vein Stage Level 8.

Shaurya’s eyes widened. But then he smiles, slowly releasing his aura. His eyes filled with excitement.
