But somehow, these crushing forces were bound, constrained by mechanisms that operated according to principles Achilles couldn’t immediately identify.

The gravity was present, undeniably real, but it couldn’t act freely. It was like observing a cosmic hurricane trapped within crystalline walls, magnificent in its power but unable to express that power beyond carefully defined boundaries.

The interaction that followed was terrifying in its silence. No words were spoken, no communication occurred through conventional means. Instead, understanding flowed between consciousness and cosmic force!

From the Singularity, a smaller sphere of blazing radiance began to separate...not torn away or forcibly extracted, instead offered with the deliberate intention of gift-giving.

The separation was both birth and sacrifice, possibility and loss combined into a single act.

Sun’s expression shifted to one of profound shock as he witnessed what was occurring, his golden radiance flickering with amazement!

"Ethemia wishes for you to... assimilate this part of her if you are able to," he said, his voice carrying undertones of reverence and disbelief. "This... is her ultimate exchange to ensure success for the future!"

Even Sun seemed stunned by what he was witnessing, as if he had never expected the Cosmic Singularity to offer a portion of herself as payment for alliance!

The magnitude of the gesture was staggering!

The atmosphere in the stellar chamber became somber.

Achilles floated forward through the impossible space, his enhanced physiology automatically adapting to pressures and energies.

As he approached the offered Singularity fragment, he felt power emanating from it that almost felt sacred.

This was power that likely no Adrastia Emperor King had ever assimilated in the past. A fragment of one of the nine Singularities that had given birth to the Star Seas, offered freely by a consciousness that had chosen to trust in potential rather than preserving itself through isolation.

If he had not just optimized his genetic architecture, if he had not enhanced his resistance to Existence Corruption and expanded his assimilation boundaries, he truly might not have been capable of integrating such fundamental force into his enhanced physiology.

But now...

His consciousness touched the edges of the offered fragment and...

Achilles roared as he neared the blazing fragment, his voice carrying across dimensional barriers as he bellowed the word that had become synonymous with his ascension toward authority.

"ASSIMILATE!"

Reality itself seemed to hold its breath as forces beyond conventional measurement began converging toward a single point of consciousness. The process that followed was unlike anything Achilles had ever experienced before!

His skin began to lose its human fairness, transforming from flesh-toned warmth into something that seemed carved from the very canvas of outer space. Stellar purple and gold flowed across his form like liquid starlight achieving permanence, while his entire body took on the cosmic appearance of someone who had been forged from the fundamental forces that governed reality.

The transformation was magnificent and terrifying. His musculature became more defined, more perfect, as if cosmic forces had optimized his physical form. But it was the otherworldly aspects of his new appearance that truly spoke to the magnitude of what was occurring.

Two pairs of radiant wings erupted from his back...structures composed of concentrated starlight that pulsed with their own glory, spanning distances that suggested they existed partially in dimensions beyond normal space.

The wings carried traces of red, purple, and blue radiance that seemed to contain fragments of stellar phenomenon, as if entire nebulae had been compressed into feathered architecture!

Around his transformed form, nine halos materialized in perfect orbital patterns...rings of neon purple and blue energy that circled his body like planetary rings, each one pulsing with gravitational authority as if he were a stellar body!

His reflection in the chamber’s impossible surfaces showed someone who appeared more cosmic phenomenon than individual entity...a humanoid Singularity that carried within itself fragments of the creative forces that had shaped reality.
