Chapter 24: I didn’t expect that the senior sister would be a husband-controlled woman?

Ye Fei wrapped his arm around Zheng Wanqing’s fragrant shoulder as the rest followed behind.

As they stepped into the restaurant, A poised and elegant waitress walked up to them with a smile.

“Good evening, sir. Do you have a reservation?” she asked politely.

Ye Fei nodded. “Yes, I made a reservation at 3 PM today. Room number 319.”

“Could I please see your ID?” the waitress asked with a pleasant smile.

Ye Fei pulled his ID card out from Zheng Wanqing’s LV handbag.

Since they were already married, of course his documents were in his wife’s care!

Better safe than sorry—girls are more meticulous than guys after all.

“Thank you, sir. One moment please,” the waitress said.

After verifying the information, she returned the ID to Ye Fei.

“Here’s your ID. Please follow me. This way.”

Ye Fei and Zheng Wanqing led the group as the others followed behind.

Under the waitress’s guidance, they reached the third floor.

And then arrived at Room 319.

“Would you like to order now?” she asked.

“Yes, now is fine,” Ye Fei said while taking the menu. “What’s your specialty here? Recommend me something.”

“Certainly, sir,” she said, “We recommend our deluxe set—it includes all our signature dishes.”

“Great, we’ll go with that.”

“Would you like any alcohol? We have authentic Guizhou Maotai, whiskey, and even Romanée-Conti.”

Ye Fei responded casually, “Bring one bottle of each. Most of us here are girls, so we won’t drink much.”

“Understood, sir.”

Just as the waitress turned to leave and head downstairs to expedite the order— Ye Fei suddenly called out, “Wait.”

“Yes, sir?”

“Also, bring two cartons of boxed milk later.”

“No problem.”

The waitress gently closed the door and headed downstairs to arrange everything.

Back at the staff area, a few waitresses immediately waved her over.

“Sis Wang, come here quick!”

She walked over. “What’s up?”

“Sis Wang, that guy just now—he looked so handsome!”

“The girl beside him looked older though.”

“Is she his sister? Or his girlfriend?”

These waitresses had been staring since the moment Ye Fei walked in.

They weren’t working at a high-end restaurant for their careers.

They were hoping to find their dream man—handsome, rich, and ideally, a billionaire.

This was, after all, a luxurious five-star ocean restaurant!

Their clientele was made up of very wealthy men.

What if one of them falls in love with us? Bam! Married into money!

Sis Wang shook her head. “You guys need to quit dreaming.”

“Men like that would never go for you.”

“Besides, that girl beside him looked like his wife.”

“When I took their order upstairs, I heard her call him ‘hubby’.”

The others looked crushed.

“No way!”

“That hottie is married? He has a wife?”

“Ugh! I feel like I just lost both a hot guy and

 a few million yuan!”

“Why is it that every good-looking, rich man is either taken or married?!”

Back in Room 319 on the third floor,

About thirty minutes after ordering, the dishes began to arrive.

Because of the high pricing, there weren’t many guests, So service was faster than regular restaurants.

Ye Fei’s wines and liquors were also served,

Along with the boxed milk he ordered for Zheng Wanqing.

“Wanqing, this is a rare dinner out with everyone. Aren’t you going to have a drink?”

“Come on, just a little. Even if you get drunk, your boyfriend’s here!”

“Exactly! Even if your alcohol tolerance is low and you collapse after one glass, at least take a sip, right?”

Zheng Wanqing looked over at Ye Fei, as if asking for permission.

“Hubby, should I just have a little? Just a little bit. Okay?”

She asked softly.

“No.”

“You can only have milk. No alcohol.”

Ye Fei rejected her firmly.

Even though she was only newly pregnant with his baby, Alcohol was still strictly off-limits!

“Hubby, I promise it’ll just be a tiny sip.”

“No.”

“Just a little.”

“No.”

“One mouthful?”

“No means no.”

Zheng Wanqing said, “Okay, whatever you say, hubby. I’ll listen to you!”

The boys and girls witnessing this all screamed in their hearts:

Wow! Who would’ve thought Wanqing is actually a hubby-fearing wife?!
