I Can Program My Body?
Chapter 194: Planetary Rank
CHAPTER 194: PLANETARY RANK
"Not bad." Seeing Nash dodge her attack, Natasha’s eyes lit up.
Although the Tier 4 runic armor could boost the body’s strength and speed to match a Void Venerate, the reaction speed wasn’t quite the same.
Not stopping her assault, Natasha swept a kick, expecting Nash to jump or back away, falling into her trap.
To her shock, Nash ducked under, adding force to her leg as he dodged forward and punched her stomach.
Thud~
A dull pain hit Natasha, making her clutch her stomach and forget her next moves.
However, not wanting to stop until his opponent was knocked out or unable to fight, Nash steeled his arms, aiming for her throat.
Sensing the danger, Natasha snapped out of her daze and leaned her head back.
As if predicting her move, Nash clenched his fist, turning his attack into an uppercut.
Flung into the air, Natasha’s mind buzzed with disorientation.
Through the haze, she saw Nash press his attack, kicking her while she was still airborne.
Flung to the ground in full view of her teammates, Natasha stopped holding back and activated her elemental laws.
Clearing her mind, she flew back, glaring at Nash in frustration.
"How dare you hit a girl like that? I was just joking, can’t you see?"
Using shadow binding, she locked Nash in place, preventing him from moving.
"Is this an elemental law?"
Trapped, Nash’s consciousness shifted to the runic space, analyzing how to escape.
Though he knew Natasha wasn’t a true enemy, he didn’t want to be beaten for nothing.
Unfortunately, looking at the shadow binding, Nash was faced with the dense runic program with hundreds of thousands of lines, making him unable to know where to begin.
As Natasha slowly approached, Nash stopped struggling, waiting to be beaten.
The gap between a Void Warrior and a Void Venerate was simply too vast.
From Void Warrior to Void General, the body only underwent amplification, from saturation, fortification, and condensation.
But a Void Venerate was an entirely different breed.
At this stage, they no longer absorb void energy but transform it into the elemental law they mastered.
"How does it feel to beat this girl?" Natasha smirked, eyeing him down.
"Captain! Stop already! If you lost, you lost!" Camilla stepped forward, defending Nash.
Though she was speechless at Nash’s ungentlemanly behaviour, she still had to protect her lover.
"Camilla, you have no say in this!" Natasha smiled, binding her in place with shadow energy.
"Now, let’s see what’s behind that mask."
Curious, Natasha removed his mask, revealing a cold face.
"Tsk, a bit handsome." She pinched his cheeks.
Seeing Nash had already disguised himself, Camilla heaved a sigh of relief.
Otherwise, given Nash’s actual appearance, who knew what might happen?
"What do you want? If you want to beat me, bring it on!"
Knowing Natasha wouldn’t dare to kill him, Nash felt no fear.
It was just pain. In the runic space, he wouldn’t feel a thing.
Besides, no matter how grievous his injuries, advanced healing potions could restore him instantly.
"What I want? I want you to join our team." Natasha smiled.
Having witnessed Nash’s combat prowess firsthand, she couldn’t help but be amazed.
Without her control of elemental laws to immobilize him, she doubted she could’ve won.
His insane reaction time and anticipation made Natasha feel like Nash could foresee her every move.
"No," Nash said flatly.
Why were all the women he met so fierce, always trying to force him onto something against his will?
Wanting to focus on his training, he had no interest in such entanglements.
"Tsk, stingy."
Seeing that Nash wouldn’t budge, Natasha released him.
"Fine, if you don’t want to, then don’t. But if you ever change your mind, you’re welcome to join us."
With that, Natasha and her Nova Academy team walked off with flair.
Finally able to move, Nash heaved a sigh of relief.
"Are you okay?" he asked Camilla in concern.
"I’m fine. The captain was measured and only bound me."
"That’s good." Patting her head, Nash felt relieved.
"Hehe, we’re finally alone..." Camilla hugged him tightly, savouring his warmth.
Though the virtual world could mimic sensations, it always felt lacking.
Even holding him in her arms, knowing they were separated by the vastness of the universe, made it feel unreal.
"Too clingy~" Nash smiled, holding him in his arms.
"Kiss me," Camilla said, gazing into his eyes.
"No, we’re in public. Don’t you feel embarrassed?"
"No. Kiss me."
Acting coy, Camilla left Nash no choice but to kiss her.
"One more."
"Alright..."
"Another one."
Feeling helpless, Nash kissed her until she was satisfied.
Fortunately, a few minutes later, Camilla stopped.
"Why don’t you show me to my residence first? You can also tell me about this place."
"That’s better!" Camilla’s eyes lit up, imagining what they could do in private.
"Tell me where your residence is."
"It’s here, Crescent Starfall." Nash pointed to the map.
"Oh? Lucky! That’s such a beautiful place."
Crescent Starfall was surrounded by a crescent lake that shimmered with stars, seemingly falling at night.
The nearby forest also glowed with void fireflies, giving the place an otherworldly feel.
"Let’s go. I’ll tell you about the training facilities on the Auralis Planets as we walk."
Hand in hand, they approached a fire peacock perched on a massive tree.
"Little Ember, come down. Take us to the Crescent Starfall."
At her command, the fire peacock landed elegantly beside them.
"Your pet?"
"Yep, it’s a Fire Peacock, a descendant of a Tier 6 War Emperor dark beast. They say it’s even linked to a Tier 9 Planetary Void Beast, the Fire Phoenix," Camilla said proudly.
"A Tier 9 Planetary Void Beast? Is that the one above the War God rank?" Nash muttered, intrigued.
"Hmm. They say the Supreme Leader of the Nova Sector is at the Planetary level, but I don’t know how strong that is or any details."
"Are there no other Planetary powerhouses in the Nova Sector?"
"Not that I know of."
"I see..."
Now aware of what lay beyond the War God rank, Nash wasn’t in a rush to learn more.
Boarding the Fire Peacock, they flew toward his residence, the Crescent Starfall.
