I Can Program My Body?
Chapter 74: Camilla Gift
CHAPTER 74: CAMILLA GIFT
While waiting for the assembly, Nash went to his designated resting room.
Taking out various instruments, he began to look around, making sure there weren’t any monitoring devices.
After Kai’s warning, he knew whatever Camilla sent him wasn’t ordinary.
"Not safe enough..."
Even though he didn’t spot any monitoring equipment, Nash wasn’t sure if a void commander might be watching.
Activating the [Sensing Module System] to the maximum level, he felt his eye sting as his ears, nose, and skin began to tingle.
Suppressing the pain, Nash scanned the room one last time.
Seeing nothing unusual, he continued to endure the discomfort, opening the secure container to check what was inside.
"A Sniper and an Armor?"
Holding the sniper, lined with glowing blue patterns, Nash instantly knew it wasn’t simple.
The armor was even more extraordinary. One look and he could tell it was a product formed in the Dark Plane.
With his ability to see the saturation of void energy, Nash immediately recognized its grade.
"A tier 1 perfect-grade armor?! Hiss!"
Perfect grade was in a league of its own.
Though technically, it only had the power comparable to a tier 2 treasure, its value far surpassed it.
In both the real world and the Dark Plane, one could only use treasure of the same rank.
Meaning as a void warrior, Nash could only use tier 1 treasures.
No matter how strong a higher-tier weapon was, his void energy wouldn’t be able to power it.
Of course, there were exceptions, like the tier 7 Protection Bracelet William wore.
It worked like a battery; as long as it had stored energy, William could use it without his own strength.
There were also innate treasures that could lower their power to match the user’s rank, making them convenient to use.
All in all, a perfect-grade treasure was highly valuable, a peak-tier weapon in its class.
Running his hand along the rough edges of the armor, Nash could only guess how much Camilla paid to send it.
No wonder a powerhouse of a Void Venerate’s level was tasked to deliver it.
This kind of armor would make elites and prodigies scramble, let alone those shameless, void commanders bullying a primitive planet like Earth.
Calming his racing heart, Nash turned to check the sniper’s grade.
"90% void saturation rate? Almost a perfect weapon!" Nash thought in shock.
Unlike items made in the Dark Plane, which could reach perfect grade, equipment made in the real world always carried flaws.
Reaching 90% void saturation was already a sign of a peak-tier 1 gunsmith, a specialist in the branch of scientist profession.
Crafting a weapon wasn’t just about materials but about preserving as much void energy as possible within it.
Being able to retain 90% void energy in an artificial weapon, Nash could only imagine the cost and effort to make it happen.
Though not as valuable as the perfect-grade armor, without a few million void crystals and the right connections, this sniper would be out of his reach.
Gripping both items tightly, Nash couldn’t help but feel emotional.
"Camilla really went to this much trouble..." Nash muttered, feeling deeply grateful in his heart.
With these two weapons in hand, Nash felt confident enough to wipe the floor with those void commanders.
Previously, with just an S-class sniper and a strength of 10% saturation rate, he managed to kill a weakened void commander. Now?
At a 65% overall saturation rate and armed with weapons like these, even if every void commander on Earth targeted him at once, he could take them down with a flick of his fingers.
A void warrior wasn’t that different from a void commander.
If judged by saturation rate, a void warrior at 1000% could match an ordinary peak void commander.
He hadn’t reached that level yet, but his eyes had.
With a saturation rate of over 500%, his eyes alone gave him the strength of a void commander at 50% fortification rate.
At the void commander level, it wasn’t just about fusing void energy anymore; it was about fortifying it.
With no real disadvantage left against these enemies, confidence began to surge through Nash’s heart.
From now on, no matter what happened, he had a guarantee to protect his life.
"No—steady. Stay steady."
Realizing he was getting conceited, Nash quickly sat down to meditate.
In the grand scheme of things, no matter how strong he became, he was still nothing more than a speck of dust.
Instead of comparing himself to the tiny world of Earth, he should be comparing himself to the true elites out there.
He hadn’t even caught up to Camilla. How could he afford to stop now?
After steadying his thoughts, Nash calmed down.
Taking the armor out of the container, he tried to put it on.
As he slipped it over his body, a warm sensation spread through him as the armor adjusted to perfectly fit his frame.
"Comfortable~"
Feeling the sturdy protection, Nash felt his safety multiply.
The only problem was its appearance; it was far too conspicuous.
Though it didn’t give off obvious void energy fluctuations, its shining blue glow was blindingly eye-catching.
Then, as if responding to his thoughts, the armor shrank and converged into his chest, embedding itself like a medal.
"Nice."
Although it wouldn’t protect him in that form, he could instantly activate it with a thought.
Problem solved.
Next, he placed the new sniper and its accompanying case of bullets into his old sniper case.
Now that he had this new weapon, the old S-class sniper could finally retire.
"It’s time for you to rest," Nash sighed.
Though he’d only used this sniper for a few months, it took down his first void commander.
That memory alone made it priceless to him.
Wrapping it up carefully, he planned to display it back at the Eastdam State as a memento.
After sorting everything out, Nash ordered food to be delivered to his room while he mulled over the assembly’s true purpose.
He didn’t believe for a second they were summoned just to report on their state’s progress.
As long as the void crystals sent to Earth Horizon Alliance weren’t lacking, why would they care about the Earthlings?
This assembly had to be a cover for a hidden agenda.
Unfortunately, with no leads, Nash could only worry.
"I hope everything goes well..."
