After listening to Director Aquarius reveal the secrets, Leon not only hurriedly jotted down the information but also curiously asked:

"Director Baltro, why do us humans have seven cardinal sins but only six virtues?"

"I am not quite sure about that either."

The blue-haired old man shook his head upon hearing this and said:

Perhaps we humans are inherently a race where evil outweighs good, hence the sins outnumber the virtues... hmm... or perhaps there's another reason.

After frowning thoughtfully for a moment, Director Aquarius said with some uncertainty:

"You should have heard about the Old Earth, right?"

Old Earth? Aren't we discussing human virtues and sins? Why did we suddenly switch topics?

Leon blinked in surprise, then nodded in response:

"I have heard Director... oh, Director Olivia mention some things, like Aries, Virgo, and Scorpio Directors ventured deep into the Old Earth long before, searching for the four treasures that our human race had lost."

"Haha, since you know about the Old Earth, explaining will be much easier."

The blue-haired old man relaxed slightly and continued explaining:

"You should know that we humans fled from the Old Soil, and according to the guesses from predecessors in the bureau, besides us refugees, there should be another lineage of humans existing in the Old Soil.

The ancestors of that lineage likely did not leave with our ancestors but instead hid deep in the Old Soil to avoid the attacks of the Supreme Four Pillar Gods by slipping into the chaotic temporal flow.

If this lineage does indeed exist, as a part of humanity, they might hold the seventh human virtue. As for the authority represented by that virtue, I suspect it is [Hope]."

The seventh human virtue, [Hope] lost in the Old Soil?

Though Director Aquarius repeatedly stated that what he just said was mere speculation, it really sounded plausible. After duly noting the seven sins and seven virtues, Leon, who gathered a wealth of information, finally shed the negative impression of the blue-haired old man and respectfully praised:

"Indeed, hearing from you for a while is better than reading ten years of books, Director Baltro, you truly are a seasoned veteran in the bureau, both in knowledge and experience."

Listening to me chat for the duration of a meal is more useful than ten years of reading?

Listening to Leon's "literal translation" of an amusing analogy and seeing the sincere admiration on his face, the blue-haired old man's lips couldn't help but twitch slightly, and he modestly replied with a smile:

"It's not as impressive as you say, I merely traveled more when I was young, going to almost every one of the then thirteen kingdoms, so I've seen a tad more than others."

Thirteen kingdoms...

Upon hearing the now adjusted figure of eleven... ten point five, Leon frowned, recalling his own director's vivid blood-red hair and also the fourth prophecy from Director Aquarius.

Twin Kingdoms of Carleighwen, luminous revival, abysmal exhaustion, west falls east rise, all hated slaughtered.

The content of this prophecy has been mostly confirmed. According to the bureau, the national church of East Carleighwen Kingdom, established by Light Worshippers, has seemingly returned with support from the Slaughter King Association after being eradicated by the director.

And these returned Light Worshippers have shed their original white robes, donning rusty iron masks and blood-stained garments, initiating a war against the Abysmal Church of Western Carleighwen Kingdom, seemingly aiming to seize its lands and citizens and revive the former East Carleighwen Kingdom.

"Director Baltro."

With the blue-haired old man being closely associated with the chief shaman, having likely seen many past secrets, Leon voluntarily asked:

"I've been in the Clean-up Bureau for too short a time, and there are many things I haven't yet understood, so regarding the East and West Kalendar Kingdom, could I trouble you to explain it to me?"

"Haha, it's no trouble at all. Since the honorable director wishes to hear, I shall speak without reservation."

"East Carleighwen Kingdom and West Carlay Wen Kingdom were once referred to as the Twin Kingdoms, with the ancestors of their royal families being brothers. The royal family of East Carleighwen Kingdom are descendants of [Courage], while West Carlay Wen's royal family are descendants of [Justice].

Oh, have you heard that saying? The one that speaks of justice and courage?"

Upon hearing this, Leon frowned in contemplation, then uncertainly replied:

"I think I've seen it in my brother's textbook... Director Baltro, is the saying you referred to 'Justice and Courage are a pair of brothers'?"

"Yes, that's the one!"

The blue-haired old man nodded slightly, then spoke with some wistfulness:

"Justice and Courage are a pair of brothers. True courage must stem from adherence to justice, and with the courage to uphold beliefs, justice won't merely become empty talk."

"This saying, handed down for nearly a millennium, actually refers to the ancestors of the East and West Kalendar Kingdoms. Apart from the bloodline brotherhood, there's also the reason for this saying.
