"Mmm, after all this talk, I actually am feeling pretty hungry, and besides, I've heard that the cafeteria at Guo Group is quite a social media sensation. So, I do want to see what their staff cafeteria is like."

"What does 'social media sensation' mean?"

"When I was in that room just now, I was feeling a bit bored, so I casually browsed the forums. I didn't expect to find information about this group. They say the food there is really delicious, and the interior is very cozy. But mind you, I'm talking about the employee's cafeteria. As for the dining room where you high-level folks eat, I have no clue."

"Wow, it's almost 12 o'clock. Let's go, I'm also just about ready to meet those bizarre characters and see what it's all like. We'll split up now and later discuss our next steps."

"Right, is there anything we need to do this afternoon?"

"Nothing for now, but can you set up your equipment in this room for the time being? I'm worried about other external things infiltrating this place."

"Don't worry, that's absolutely no problem."

"There's one more thing. When I eat later, I want to try to find General Manager Huang to talk about changing the security cameras. However, I have a feeling he won't agree."

"If he doesn't agree, does that mean we won't be able to proceed with our plans?"

"No, if he doesn't agree, I won't force the issue, as it might just alarm the quarry. So, I need you to use your methods to bypass those three cameras and route them to me, but you can't connect them to the central control room—they should only be routed to our office."

"Oh, that's easy. I just need to wait until no one's around to do that. After all, it would be a little difficult to do it in broad daylight. Plus, those cameras probably use analog signals and are not networked, so I'll need a cable to connect to them."

"Let's do it tonight then. That should be the most suitable time."

"Okay, I got it. I'll leave first."

After finishing the conversation, Anying just nodded to him and then stood up and left from there.

After walking out, he saw some security guards with their lunch boxes walking over from the other side, seemingly right on time for their meal break.

Ye Chen waited until the guards had almost all left, quickly tidied his desk, and then got up and departed from there.

Ye Chen remembered what Guo Hongyu had told him earlier.

The place where they eat is just one floor up, on the 16th floor. For just one floor, Ye Chen felt it was wasteful to take the elevator.

So, he pushed open the door from the emergency exit and walked through.

Since it was an emergency exit and therefore a staircase, it was seldom frequented, only used when the elevators were out of service.

He walked upstairs and soon arrived on the 16th floor. Upon opening the emergency exit door, he immediately smelled the unique fragrance wafting from the restaurant.

It felt like entering a hotel at the doorway, where a few female attendants were present.

As he approached, one of the attendants promptly came over and gave him a slight smile.

"Mr. Ye, hello. This is your personal cutlery, already prepared for you. Remember, number 16 cubby – that's yours from now on."

The attendant pointed towards the wall as she spoke, and Ye Chen glanced over.

Indeed, there was a dedicated place for storing cutlery, and inside, ultraviolet germicidal lamps were continuously operating.

Chopsticks, plates, bowls—all the essentials were neatly arranged in the middle.

Who would have thought that this cafeteria, a public corporate one at that, would be so accommodating and thoughtful?

Even the utensils were personal and usually not mixed use, preventing unnecessary cross-contamination.

"Okay, thank you."

After listening, Ye Chen nodded and went to cubby number 16, retrieving all his cutlery.

Then, he entered the dining hall, looking around to find that there weren't many tables set up.

This confirmed what they had said before: those who dine here are the higher-ups, even those mid-level and above, so there weren't likely to be many people.

A few tables were already full, and each table could seat up to six people at most.

Ye Chen glanced around and could see that there was an abundant variety of dishes; with just a sweep of his eyes, there seemed to be more than a dozen options.

There were assorted desserts, cakes, milk, drinks, fruits—all laid out for the taking.

Unable to wait any longer, just as Anying had described, the place indeed lived up to its reputation as a social media hotspot. The surrounding facilities alone made him feel quite relaxed stepping in here.

Ye Chen simply chose some of his favorite foods, grabbed a few items at random, sampled some rice, tried a bowl of egg soup, and then found a seat on the side to sit down.

Being new, Ye Chen wasn't well acquainted with the people around him, nor did he want to integrate into this collective too quickly.

Integrating too fast might complicate things later on, so Ye Chen would not do so readily.

"Big Brother Ye Chen."

At that moment, he suddenly heard a familiar voice, so he looked up and, sure enough, it was Guo Hongyu.

However, Ye Chen did not want Guo Hongyu to address him like this in such a setting, as it could easily lead to misunderstandings.

After Guo Hongyu spoke, Ye Chen cautiously glanced to the left, relieved to find that not many people were around and that those at nearby tables were engrossed in conversation, likely not having heard the name.
