After the two men walked out of the room, the corridor became eerily quiet.

Ye Chen walked to the door, where there had been two security guards on duty, but now, as it was nearing the time of the haunting, even they had left.

"Captain Yang, why are you here? Isn't it almost 7 o'clock?"

While speaking, Captain Yang placed two rubber sticks in Ye Chen's hands. Ye Chen just looked down at them briefly and handed one of them over to his companion.

He turned around to look at Anying, who had been standing behind him and had just reached out to test the tap water.
