As he spoke, Ye Chen let out a long sigh, then took out his phone and soon heard the call to the old man being connected.

"Hello, Ye Chen, how are you? Have you been busy lately? And Yaru, how is she doing? Is she well?"

Before Ye Chen could speak, the old man's greetings came through the phone, and Lin Yaru, sitting nearby, could hear them clearly as well.

With everything explained to the old man, Ye Chen felt there was nothing more to be clarified.

After hanging up, Ye Chen turned to look at Lin Yaru sitting beside him, and the whole conversation was clearly heard by her.

He never imagined that his grandfather was so concerned about his safety and situation.

Before, Lin Yaru had never felt this attitude and always thought there was little care in this aspect.
