I Got Isekai’d, Well Shyt!
*Vol.5 Chapter282 The Terminators
Before the battle for the vault, Augustus was the captain of this squad of Raven Knights Mercenaries. He was pretty harsh on his men during the training, but that was because he was trying to get them to stay in shape during these boring years of protecting this vault.
He was watching his men spar while others were taking bets on who was going to win the fight.
'Haah... They are getting sloppy. I'm going to have to talk to them about staying on guard. We never know when thieves might decide to break in—'
The entire group heard screaming coming from the entrance of the mine. Someone was trying to infiltrate the cave.
"To arms, boys! It looks like we have some unwanted guests!"
The Raven Knight Mercenaries pulled out their weapons and went toward the screams. Augustus was at the front of the group while there was a rear group of archers to watch their backs.
'Who the hell found us?... Is it the Marquess's men? Or someone else?' Augustus thought as he readied his weapon.
They heard Gavril's voice silenced, and then Daniel tried screaming out a warning to the rest of them but was cut short when he was stabbed.
"Steady men... You know what to do when you face an opponent. Archers... Fire when ready and Maja Warriors, we will focus on their Maja Warriors... And keep your distance and try to avoid getting surrounded. Let the archers do their job," Augustus shouted.
Of the 50 Raven Knights that were there, ten had mana veins that allowed them to be Maja, while the rest were common soldiers. Unfortunately, they lost one Maja Warrior who was guarding the entrance.
They heard three sets of footsteps coming their way.
"About time something has happened here... I've been itching to kill someone," muttered Wick, who was one of the Maja.
"You and me both," smirked Lenny, who was the second Maja.
"Steady now... They took down Daniel..." whispered Augustus.
'They should be almost here by now,' Augustus thought.
*Step... Step... Step!... Step!*
The archers notched their arrows and aimed them toward the entrance of the tunnel.
'Alright, boys... You said you were bored... This will surely give you a thrill. Hopefully, we aren't outnumbered, so we can't kill them all. The more that are alive, the better chance our secret will get out,' Augustus thought as he readied his axe.
As soon as the group of thieves, the Golems made their way around the corner, the Raven Knights opened fire on the intruders, not giving them a chance to prepare for an attack.
"Now!" Augustus shouted.
Arrows flew into the three people. But they didn't try to avoid the arrows, as many bounced off the golems' bodies. A few arrows did manage to stick, but the vanguard didn't wait for a second strike.
Lenny, Wick, and three other Maja rushed toward the three intruders while the rest of the men ran up behind the five Maja. Augustus and two of the other Maja stayed back to observe the fight and react accordingly.
The five Maja were going in with full force to kill their opponents.
"Hah! Three beautiful women are trying to rob us... I hope you enjoy death! Hahaha!" Wick chuckled right as he brought his claymore down on one of the Golems.
T1 swiftly stepped aside as the claymore smashed into the stone floor. She elbowed Wick, sending him sideways and causing him to crash into a stalactite, cracking it and causing it to break off and fall on top of Wick.
"Wick!" Lenny called out.
Lenny saw the Golem that had taken out Wick had attacked him.
"I got her—AH!" the soldier who tried to follow up on the attack got his lead leg kicked in at the knee, bending it backward as he fell to the ground.
The other Maja Warriors are having similar difficulty against T2 and T3.
"Who the hell are these women!?" Vance exclaimed when he saw the vanguard getting pushed back.
"Steady yourself, boys! These women are only a few, and they won't be able to survive our superior numbers for long," Augustus commanded as four more common soldiers were struck down by the three golem women.
"This is for Wick!" Lenny yelled as he channeled his Mana. He used a Maja skill to strengthen his sword's blade and swung it at T1's neck.
His attack was quick enough to land, and it sunk into her collarbone by seven inches.
"Gotcha you!... Huh!?"
Lenny watched a T1 turn her head towards him with a deadpan stare. Her open wound didn't bleed, and it looked like dry dirt was crumbling out.
She then lifted her fist and punched Lenny in the chest, sending him flying ten yards back and crashing into a wall.
Augustus saw this, and his face paled. He'd seen this before but had never seen a mage strong enough to create golems that looked identical to humans. That's when he noticed that all three of these Invaders were exactly the same.
"GOLEMS!? WE ARE FIGHTING GOLEMS, BOYS! ARCHERS! USE THE FIRE ARROW! USE THE GRENADES! USE EVERYTHING YOU HAVE, BOYS!"
"How do we stop a golem, sir!?" A soldier asked.
"WE NEED TO KILL THEIR MAGE OR DISRUPT THE INCANTATION BY INFLICTING AS MUCH DAMAGE AS POSSIBLE! KEEP YOUR DISTANCE FROM THEM, AND KILL THEIR MAGE. BUT ONLY SEVEN OF US HAVE THE SKILL TO DEAL SUCH DAMAGE TO THEM! IF YOU WANT TO LIVE PROTECT US OR THE ARCHERS!" Augustus roared as he readied himself with the last standing Maja Warriors.
The damage done to T1 was regenerating as she pulled the sword out of her shoulder and dropped it to the ground. She turned to look at a soldier who was closest to her. And then she slowly walked toward him.
"You have got to be shitting me! It's a fucking golem!" The soldier screamed as he tried to run away.
"Where are the damn grenades!" Vance yelled as he tried to keep his distance from T2. The archers were struggling to light the wicks of their fire arrows and grenades as they saw T3 slaughtering four common soldiers.
"We can't light the wicks!" An archer cried.
"The wind is blowing in the wrong direction," Another archer yelled.
"Fire the damn grenades, now! Or you'll be fucking dead!" Vance roared.
"Shit, they are coming closer. Use your damn weapons!" A soldier cried.
Augustus came in hot when he saw T2 going after Hutchins and a few other soldiers.
"HEY, SHIT-FOR-BRAINS! EAT THIS!" Augustus roared while switching his battle axe at the golem's legs.
T2 jumped in the air before she was hit, but Augustus channeled his mana perfectly into his legs and arms as he used his own momentum and speed to continue the offensive. He spun around, caught T2's knee in mid-air, and pushed the golem high into the sky.
"FIRE EVERYTHING AT THE GOLEM!" Augustus roared.
"SHOOT IT DOWN!" The Archers followed the order, and a few of them were able to light their arrows.
"FIRE!" All the archers fired, and all the arrows hit T2. Sending her flying against the wall. The impact caused a dust cloud to form as the archers rained down all their explosive arrows and grenades on her.
"Don't stop. Continue firing!" A soldier yelled.
"FALL BACK!" Vance cried as T1 grabbed a soldier by his leg and threw him against the ground.
The soldier's head smashed against the ground, and his helmet did nothing to protect him.
"Fuck! Our guys are dropping like flies. We need some support now!" A soldier cried.
Garlin and Max were fighting T3 and they were hoping to do a similar attack on this golem like what Augustus did.
"Flank it now, Max! Go for the knees!" Garlin roared as he attacked from the front.
Max did as he was told, and when he was about to make contact with the golem. T3 dashed backward into him.
"Shit, Max move!" Garlin yelled.
Max couldn't react fast enough as T3's back smashed into his chest, and then she grabbed both of his arms and ripped them off. Even when Max strengthened his body with his mana, he was too slow.
"AAAAHHHH!" Max cried as both his arms were ripped off.
"Max!" Garlin cried.
Max's body went limp as he started bleeding out. T3 dropped the bloody arms on the ground.
*Boom! Boom! Boom!*
T3 started running away from the incoming explosive arrows.
While T3 was on the run, Vance and Spencer were getting a few good hits on T1 when she killed a soldier. But every time she took damage, her body would regenerate the damage, but it seemed slower.
"It's working, but we are losing too many men! We need to retreat!" Spencer yelled.
"I know, but we need to buy Augustus more time! If he can destroy the golem, then we can escape and regroup." Vance replied.
"We can't afford to lose any more soldiers, Vance."
"Shut up and do your fucking job." Vance roared as he parried an incoming attack from T1.
Spencer rushed the Golem, dodged a punch, and took a couple of hits before being kicked in the face and sent flying backward.
"Fucking bitch! I'll rip your legs off." Vance yelled.
*Clank*
Vance's sword got stuck in T1's side. "Fuck!" Vance roared.
A soldier ran up to help Vance pull his sword out, and some tried to attack her while she was stuck, but she was too fast and was able to counterattack them. She killed one soldier after another with ease after Vance got his sword free.
Vance was pissed and kept attacking with his mana-enhanced body. He was getting stronger. He had the training to increase his muscle strength. But his body wasn't strong enough to handle this amount of mana. So his muscles were ripping and tearing at the seams, and blood started coming out of his pores.
Spencer came too and sat up with a broken nose, "Gah!... Shit... Huh? Vance! You're going to kill yourself. Stop using that much mana."
But Vance wasn't listening.
"We're dead if we don't take it down. I'll just kill the fucking thing with my bare hands!"
T1's lips smirked at the comment.
Vance's rage was getting to him. His eyes were turning red. "You bitch. You will die."
T1 was amused and kept fighting Vance and his soldiers. She was still taking damage, but she would get a kill for every other hit she took.
The Raven Knights Mercenaries had 50 men stationed at this vault, and 27 of them were killed. All that was left were ten archers, twelve soldiers, and five Maja Warriors: Augustus, Hutchins, Garlin, Vence, and Spencer. And they haven't taken down one golem yet.
Augustus and Hutchins were waiting for the dust cloud to settle where T2 had fallen.
"I think I see it! I'm going in!" Hutchins yelled as he ran into the cloud.
"Wait, Hutchins!"
Hutchins' mana was depleted, and his stamina was low. He was tired. When he got in range, he tried to swing his sword with all his might. T2 threw her hand into his face. Her hand crumbled into dirt, blinding him just enough to punch him through the chest. T2's body wasn't in good shape, as large portions of it were struggling to maintain their form.
Augustus didn't waste any time and cleaved through both Hutchins' and T2's bodies. Sending them flying away from each other. Hutchins' upper body was sent flying while the bottom portion of his body was sent spinning in the other direction.
"Ahhh!" Augustus screamed as he charged T2's upper half, and he was going to make sure to destabilize the mana inside its body.
Hutchins was a good soldier, and Augustus was going to get revenge.
T2's upper half had her face smashed in, and her eyes were missing. But her jaw was moving.
"Fucking die, you piece of shit! RAH! UGH!"
Augustus chopped everything that moved on T2's body until it lost all of this mana, and T2 returned to its original materials of dirt and stone. Augustus was breathing heavily as he finally took down the first golem. Still, his rest was cut short when he saw the T3 Golem closing in on the archers, who were panicking as the beautiful monster was heading their way as she avoided all the incoming explosive fire arrows and grenades.
"Fall back. Fall back! Fall back now!" Garlin yelled as he tried to run after the golem.
They were falling back too slowly for Augustus' liking, and he ran after the charging golem who was 30 feet away from him. He and Garlin were too far away from stopping her from reaching the first archer.
The Golem was a foot away from grabbing the archer, who screamed for help.
"Rah!" Garlin was a couple of feet away, and he was ready to swing his blade at the golem's leg. T3 heard the Maja Merc coming in and kicked him.
"FUCK!"
*SMASH!*
Garlin barely raised his shield up in time to absorb the hit that sent him flying backward into Augustus.
"Oof!" Augustus grunted from the collision with Garlin, and the two came tumbling down the rocky cave floor.
T3 didn't waste any time engaging the archers who were trying to get some distance from the golem while some of them were getting grenades ready. The first archer wasn't fast enough to get away from T3 as she grabbed his shoulder and punched a hole through his back and out of his chest with his heart in her hand.
"Fuck! Fucking run! Run!"
The second archer didn't run as fast as his friends, so T3 threw the dead archer to the ground, jumped after him, and tackled him to the ground.
"NO!—AHHH!"
T3 punched his face, killing him, but three other archers lit up a few grenades and threw them at the golem.
*BOOM! BOOM!*
T3 was caught in the explosion, but two other archers who were running from her were still too close to her when the grenades went off, and they were engulfed in the fire and flames, killing them instantly.
"FUCK! FIRE ALL THE FIRE ARROWS NOW! RAH!"
"FIRE AT WILL! FIRE! FIRE!"
"SHIT! RUN YOU BASTARDS! FUCKING RUN!"
The explosion knocked back T3, but the damage was minor, and she looked mildly annoyed while half of her body was covered in flames.
"You GOT TO BE SHITTING ME!? BEN! GRAB THE CRATE OF EXPLOSIVES! NOW!" One of the archers ordered as he and two other archers released a volley of fire arrows at the burning golem.
*Fwooosh!*
T3 took the arrow barrage head-on as she ran toward them.
"AAHH!"
"FUCK!"
"OH, SHIT! GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!"
"DIE BITCH!"
"RAAHH!"
The golem had her arm wrapped around one archer's head, and she snapped his neck, killing him, and quickly kicked another one that sent him flying 30 feet across the cavern until he became a blood splatter on the jagged stone wall.
"RAAH! COME HERE!"
The two archers, who had a crate of grenades, tried to run in different directions.
"SHIT! SHIT! FUCKING KILL IT BEN!"
Ben tried to throw a grenade, but his nerves were getting the better of him.
*BOOM!*
Ben accidentally tipped over the crate full of grenades into the fire next to him as T3 was closing in with two archers in each of her hands.
"Oh, fuc—*BOOOOOM! BOOOOM!*
The crate exploded with such force that not only did it destroy T3 and the last four archers, but it also knocked over Augustus and Gerlin, who had just gotten up from the ground and were 75 feet away from the blast.
T1 and the fighting soldiers lost their balance as the cave vibrated from the explosion, and a few soldiers got crushed by a few falling stalactites.
"FUCK!" Augustus was thrown into the stone wall, and the air was knocked out of him. The wall had cracked and broken off a little piece to the ground from Augustus' impact, but he was still in fighting shape. Garlin's left arm broke when he hit the ground, and he was in pain, but he gritted his teeth and hurried to his feet.
"AHH!" One soldier yelled as T1 got her hands on him and bent his back backward.
"AAHH!" screamed another as the golem got ahold of his neck, and she squeezed until his neck was broken and his face turned purple as she killed off the last of the common soldiers, only leaving the four Maja Warriors left to finish off.
"OH FUCK! SHE'S STILL MOVING!" Spencer yelled as he regained his footing and went after T1.
"GET OUT OF THERE, SPENCER! SHE'S MINE!" Vence roared as he over-channeled his mana into his body and sprinted towards the golem.
Vence reached the golem and tried to land a powerful strike with a claymore; he picked it up off the ground and swung it overhead.
T1 caught the sword with both hands, and she tried to rip it out of his hands, but Vance used all his mana and strength to wedge the sword into her palms.
"AHH!!" Vence grunted and pushed harder.
"Hold her there! I'm coming in!" Spencer said. Garlin and Augustus were about 100 feet away from their comrades and started making their way to Vence and Spencer.
T1 didn't stop trying to rip the sword out of Vence's hands, but her focus was split.
*CLANK! CLANK! CLANK! CLANG! CLANK!*
Spencer was getting some good hits on T1, which caused her to miss large chunks of herself with each hit, but it wasn't enough to critically take her down.
"Take this, you piece of Sh—AAHHH!" Spencer screamed in pain as the golem lifted her leg and stomped down onto his foot when he got too close.
"FU—UUKK!" Spencer fell to his knees and held his ankle in pain.
"AHHH!" Vence was finally overpowered and was sent flying and tumbled down the stone corridor, and his claymore was stuck in the golem's hands. Vance tried moving his limps, but he saw that they were turning into dust as Mana Exhaustion took hold of him.
"HA! Take this, you stupid golem!" Augustus shouted and charged his mana-powered axe, strengthening the edge to the point where it could cut through diamonds like butter. He aimed for the golem's midsection. Her entire midsection cracked and splintered, and the golem stopped moving. She looked into Augustus's eyes, and the golem spoke in her broken voice.
"Kill... you..." T1 said as she tried to punch him in the chest before falling apart and turning into dust.
"Sir! Watch out!" Garlin yelled as he busted his shoulder into Augustus', knocking him away from T1's fist, but she redirected it at Garlin's face, and her fist hit him in the nose, and he felt the crunch and blood came flowing out of his nose as her crumbling fist continued to go through his skull and out the back.
"Garlin!" Augustus yelled as he saw his comrade's brains get splattered on the floor, and Garlin's headless body was left to stand there for a few seconds before his body fell over.
T1 looked at Augustus with a deadpan stare as she tried walking toward him, but her body was crumbling with each step she took and when she tried to reach out with her left arm, it turned into dirt and stones.
"You... Lose," T1 said in her dying breath as the golem fell apart and turned into dust.
"Pff!... We'll see about that, you little bitch!... Because I will find your creator and put their fucking head on a pike to kill my men!" Augustus threatened and spat on the pile of dust where the golem once stood.
Spencer was still on the floor, holding his ankle as the bones were sticking out from his skin.
"Spencer! Are you alright?" Augustus asked.
"No, Sir... I'm not okay. You think?!" Spencer asked with a glare.
"Don't get lippy with me, Son! We are Raven Knight Mercenaries! We always flock together and murder our enemies! And we need to report this to Grayson... We need to find whoever created those things and end them," Augustus said with a determined expression.
"Yes, Sir... We must avenge everyone's death and find whoever created these monstrosities!" Spencer said and looked up at Augustus.
"Now grab a few potions and get yourself in order. We'll be leaving as soon as—Spencer?... Look at me when I'm talking to you!"
Spencer's face turned pale while looking past Augustus.
Augustus gazed at Spencer with a puzzled expression before he turned around to follow Spencer's line of sight. His composed demeanor dissolved as he laid eyes on ten women who bore an uncanny resemblance to the initial three golems that had assaulted the vault.
The golems fixed their gaze on the remaining two mercenaries and grinned, their movements synchronized as they advanced confidently.
"I guess this is it..." Spencer muttered.
"I'm not done yet, boy!" Augustus growled as he grabbed his axe and readied his shield. "If we are going to die, then I'll make sure to take a few of them—"
Four of the golems moved at such speeds that Augustus didn't have time to react.
They tore the knight to pieces.
"AAAAAAARGH!!!"
"SIR!!" Spencer shrieked.
The four golems' faces were spattered with the blood of their prey as they continued walking forward.
Spencer crawled backward, attempting to get away from the creatures that had slaughtered his leader.
"What do you want?!"
"The... Vault..." T5 said as she closed in on Spencer.
The merc knew this was the end, but he wanted to live, and right as T5 was about to stomp down on him, he rolled away just in time.
"I-I promise to not say any—WHOA!?"
The rock floor underneath Spencer started to crack open from T5's attack and he fell down into the abyss.
"AAAHHHHhhhhh.........." Spencer's voice faded as the distance between him and the surface grew. They heard the splash of water coming from below.
"Second... Survivor?" T7 asked as she walked up next to T5.
"Yes... Mistress's... Orders," T5 responded.
"Survival... Odds?"
"Good... Enough..."
"Open... The... Vault," T5 commanded the other golems to advance toward the massive door and begin tearing it open. The deafening screech of metal filled the air as the golems exerted immense force to pry the door apart.
The sound of the metal breaking echoed through the gorge.
T5 gazed at the hole where Spencer had fallen and waited.
"Live... Boy... Send... Message... To... Your... Duke..."
After a few minutes, the golems broke all the locks that held the mighty door closed and forced it open.
The heavy door slammed onto the ground, making the entire floor vibrate from the impact. The golems were greeted by multiple chests of gold, jewels, and even a few weapons.
T5 walked in front of her subordinates and looked around.
"Take... Treasure..."
The golems walked inside and started collecting everything.

(A minute before the crate of grenades exploded.)
Daniel was running away from the vault as fast as he could. The potions he drank helped slow down the bleeding from his gut. He needed to report that the vault was attacked. He stumbled across a few rocks and fell on his face, scraping his chin and cheek.
"Goddammit," he cussed as he stood up and wiped the blood off his face.
'If I make it out of here. I'll never complain about a boring guard duty ever again... NO! I need to avenge my brothers in arms... I need to live so whoever attacked us will pay,' Daniel thought.
The tranquility of the gorge was shattered by a deafening explosion reverberating through the canyon, triggering several rock slides in its wake.
'Oh shit. They got to the explosives! That many going off can't be good. I've got to move now!' Daniel thought as he got up from the ground and sprinted away from the vault as fast as he could.
"Ah, shit. This is really starting to hurt. I wish I had some of Vance's blue potions... Huh?"
Daniel looked behind him toward the old mine entrance, which was about a mile away. That's when he saw twenty golems standing outside the entrance, all of them waiting for something. Unfortunately for him, ten of them seemed to be staring straight at him.
"They can't see me, right?"
A golem singled him out, and two of the deadly beauties charged in his direction.
"FUCK!" Daniel screamed as he picked up his pace. He had a bit of a limp as he ran toward the edge of a 30-foot cliff that had a waterfall.
"I'M NOT GOING TO FUCKING DIE HERE!" Daniel screamed as he was 50 feet away from the edge.
The two golems were moving at such high speeds that they were in sight of Daniel after 45 seconds. Daniel was 30 feet away from the edge, and the golems were closing in. Their long strides allowed them to get 10 feet closer than Daniel.
"FUCK OFF YOU UGLY BITCHES!" Daniel screamed as he was at the edge.
The two golems leaped into the air with menacing glares, poised to strike at any moment. Daniel channeled his mana into his legs and leaped out of the way of the incoming fist. T13 and T18's fists smashed into the ground, causing a big upheaval that caused a landslide. The golem's fists broke through the rocky soil, sending a large chunk of dirt flying in every direction. The force of the blow sent Daniel flying forward over the cliff.
"AHHH!" Daniel screamed as the golems missed him and fell towards the waterfall.
Daniel closed his eyes and braced for impact, expecting his back to hit the rocks below. However, that did not happen. Instead, his body continued falling until it was completely submerged under the water. The coldness of the water woke him up from his delirium, and he was able to swim to the surface. When he finally reached the surface, he found that he was in a rapid river.
"FUUUCK!" Daniel screamed as he struggled to keep his head above water.
His eyes widened in terror as he realized he was hurtling towards another precipice. Daniel frantically attempted to swim towards the riverbank, but the relentless current proved too powerful, and he plummeted 150 feet into the churning waters below.
"FUCK!"
He managed to survive the second waterfall, but now he was being carried away by the relentless force of the rushing waters. His thoughts raced as he struggled to comprehend the chaotic events that had just unfolded.
'I need to get to the—Huh?' Daniel saw the two golems standing on the edge of the second cliff above him, and he knew what he needed to do: play dead.
"I CAN'T SWIM!" Daniel screamed as his head disappeared beneath the water.
The golems looked down the waterfall, watching Daniel sink deeper into the water. After waiting for a solid minute, T13 and T18 took their leave.
Daniel's lungs burned as he fought to hold his breath for as long as possible, the roaring rapids carrying him farther and farther from the looming golems. Once his lungs couldn't take it anymore, he released the precious air he'd been holding and gasped desperately for breath.
He was barely able to keep his head above water for a few seconds before he was sucked under again.
'Fuck!' He cursed internally as he continued to be carried along by the swift current.
His lungs ached and burned as his chest tightened with each breath, his heart pounding faster and faster as his panic intensified. He looked around to see if those two Golems were still following him. He thought his luck had run out, but the golems were nowhere to be seen.
'I need to stay calm...' Daniel told himself repeatedly, 'Just keep swimming!'
After ten minutes of swimming with the current, the rapids began to subside, 'I need a drink,' Daniel thought as he swam along the surface and dragged his battered body onto the river bank.
He lay on his back, gasping for breath.
'That was close...'
The sun was shining brightly overhead, and Daniel shielded his eyes from the blinding rays. He sat up and scanned his surroundings, searching for something, anything, to help him figure out where he was. That's when he saw another body flowing in the river. Daniel got to his feet and limped over to the figure. It was Spencer, and he was unconscious but breathing.
'Shit! I can't carry him! I'm barely able to walk myself.'
He grabbed Spencer by the arm and dragged him ashore.
"You alive?" Daniel asked as he slapped Spencer across the face.
Spencer groaned, "W-Where are we?"
"No idea," Daniel answered, "Did anyone else survive? What about the golems?"
"G-Golems?... They killed everyone else... I-I don't know if I can walk."
"Can you stand?"
Spencer slowly pushed himself up to his knees, "I-I think so, but my ankle is broken... I'll need your help to walk."
"Fine... Let's go," Daniel said as he wrapped an arm around Spencer's waist, helping him onto his feet while Spencer wrapped his arm over Daniel's shoulders.
The pair of men hobbled through the dense forest, their weary bodies slowly making their way toward a looming hill adorned with clusters of moss-covered boulders and thick bushes. After a full day of arduous travel, they finally arrived at a small village. It took them another half a day to locate their fellow comrades—a band of seven battle-hardened mercenaries of the Raven Knights.
The golems attacked this vault and several other smaller vaults with fewer guards protecting them. Only one survivor remained from those vaults. Grayson Ravenheart, leader of the Raven Knights, learned about the attacks and dreaded sending out the message to Duke Alaric Revelia, but there was no getting around this. He sent the messenger bird towards the Capital City of Tairal. His Lord wasn't going to be happy about this news.
