I Have A Solo Mommy Plan, But Daddy Refuses to Let Go
Chapter 1: I’m Pregnant
CHAPTER 1: CHAPTER 1: I’M PREGNANT
"Dr. Grant, the anesthetic hasn’t been administered yet, how can you just..."
"What anesthetic? Just cut, it’s just a kidney, not a major surgery!"
The assistant and nurse nearby shivered at these words.
Sienna Quinn, tied to the operating table, widened her eyes, staring intently at the man in front of her whose masked eyes revealed a malicious glare.
"Miles Grant, who gave you permission to do this? Let me go, let go!" She fought desperately to struggle, trying to escape, but her body was tied tightly, leaving her with no way out.
Four years ago in the U.S.A, she secretly donated a kidney to Vera Yates. Now she only has one kidney left; isn’t this trying to kill her?
"Bastard, son of a bitch, let me go. I only have one kidney left. You can’t do this, you can’t give it to her, and I’m already pregnant!"
Before Sienna could finish speaking, the man grazed her face lightly with the scalpel, leaning closer to look at her on the bed, desperately struggling, and sneered, "Almost forgot, four years ago you donated a kidney to Vera. Haha, good things come in pairs; once this kidney is donated, your debt to her will be cleared."
If this kidney is donated, can she still survive?
"I don’t owe her, I never owed her!" Four years ago, she was manipulated into donating a kidney to Vera Yates; it was one of the things she regretted most in her life.
Vera claimed to be just Landon’s sister and deceived her all this time!
Sienna’s words made the man’s eyes shift slightly, but soon they returned to coldness, "Huh, don’t owe... Vera became like this because of you, Sienna, you must pay for what you’ve done!"
"No, you can’t take my kidney, Stephen wouldn’t agree to it. No matter what, I am Stephen’s wife; if you kill me, he won’t let you get away with it!"
Hearing Sienna mention Landon Lawson, Miles Grant showed no fear. Instead, he smiled, "Do you think I’d dare perform this surgery without his authorization? Plus, Stephen doesn’t want you, and of course, he doesn’t want your child. Since Vera’s incident, you’ve been locked in the villa, hasn’t that sunk in yet?"
Naturally, Landon Lawson wasn’t aware of these things; Miles only said this to see Sienna in pain.
"Let me go! I want to see him!" Sienna widened her eyes, her entire face contorting with emotion, and after a pause, she yelled, "He wouldn’t send me to my death!"
No matter how much Landon despised her, he wouldn’t be so cruel. Though he had always been cold to her, in all these years, he never deprived her of a roof over her head or food.
"Naive!" Miles Grant remarked, stretching his hand to let the assistant nearby hand over his phone. He dialed Landon Lawson and turned on the speaker after the call was connected.
Sienna drew a sharp breath, hoping that Landon on the other end would get furious and stop this slaughter, only to receive his cold interrogation: "Is it not handled yet?"
"It’ll be done soon, don’t worry about me?"
"Hmm, make sure it’s clean."
"She wants to see you."
"I’m next door with Vera."
Miles Grant’s lips curled in satisfaction, cutting off the call, "You have to see the reality, I’m sending you off, ending your pain, and you should thank me!"
There’s no way he would let Landon know Sienna was the one who donated a kidney to Vera, and certainly wouldn’t let him know about Sienna’s pregnancy. He only told Landon that he found a woman whose kidney matched Vera’s, claiming she was a death row inmate he secretly smuggled out using connections.
Once the surgery was done, he’d tell Landon that Sienna volunteered to donate her kidney to Vera out of a sense of restitution. After all, the dead can’t argue back.
