CHAPTER 353: CHAPTER 353: THE VISITOR WITH HOSTILE INTENTIONS

Axel Yates watched as Landon Lawson’s face filled with unbearable pain.

Sienna Quinn still didn’t know about Landon Lawson’s feelings for her, but as Landon Lawson’s rival, he was the master at guessing others’ emotions.

Axel Yates drove with determination, taking Sienna to Landon Lawson’s villa.

When the two arrived at the villa, Axel Yates looked at the door, a strange smile appearing at the corner of his mouth.

The smile made Sienna’s heart tremble, but she didn’t say much and personally went forward to knock on the door.

The old butler opened the door; his face lit up with surprise when he saw Sienna, but when he saw Axel Yates standing next to her, his smile froze. Landon Lawson never liked strangers coming to his house.

Sienna knew this, so why would she make such a mistake?

"Miss Quinn... and this is..."

"I brought a friend over, Axel Yates."

"Please... please come in."

The old butler said in a hoarse voice.

"Miss Quinn, did you come to see the young master this time?"

"No, I came to take him away," Sienna said slowly.

Take him away? Well, after all, the child had always been with his mother. The old butler sighed at how quickly time had passed, and soon the young master would be leaving Landon Lawson.

Sienna gave the old butler a weak smile before stepping inside with Axel Yates, entering the home that had once been intended as a wedding house for her and Landon Lawson.

The familiar furniture and decorations made Sienna feel a moment of disorientation, as if she still lived there, longing day and night to be together with Landon Lawson...

Tears welled up, and Sienna gently sniffled, not wanting those tears to fall.

Being overly sentimental was not a good thing, especially when the outcome was already determined.

"Please have a seat, I’ll go call the master and young master," the old butler said, sighing as he headed upstairs.

At the time, Evan Quinn and Landon Lawson were in the room playing games. Over the past few days, under Landon Lawson’s influence, Evan Quinn had successfully transformed into a gaming king.

Although Landon Lawson had been busy lately, he still made time to play games with his son.

The two were engrossed in their game, and the old butler couldn’t bear to interrupt them. Landon Lawson’s face had only just gained some semblance of a smile, but those happy days were about to end...

"Master, Miss Quinn is here, along with a man," the old butler reported to Landon Lawson with his head lowered.

"Miss Quinn said his name is Axel Yates."

Landon Lawson furrowed his brow, caught up in thought, forgetting to operate the controller in his hand.

Evan Quinn was still immersed in the gaming world and didn’t hear the old butler’s words. He squealed excitedly, "Dad, hurry up! The monster is about to destroy the city!"

But Landon Lawson didn’t respond, not until the screen displayed the words "Game Over."

"Dad?" Evan Quinn looked at the disappointed Landon Lawson with big eyes.

Landon Lawson forced a bitter smile, "Alright, no more playing. Your mom’s here to pick you up."

Evan Quinn immediately stood up from the floor, excitedly running towards the door. He ran out of the room, then ran back in, excitedly telling Landon Lawson, "Dad, hurry, let’s go see mom together!"

Landon Lawson’s eyes filled with sadness. In those brief few minutes, his leg had gone numb along with his heart. He stood up, rubbing his leg, "Okay."

In his pure heart, Evan Quinn didn’t realize that this departure from Landon Lawson meant it would be difficult to see him again in the future.

He raced downstairs, and had countless things he wanted to tell Sienna, including asking her to let him stay a few more days.

Evan Quinn clattered down the stairs, shouting excitedly, "Mom!"

Seeing Evan Quinn, Sienna’s bad mood vanished. She walked over wanting to give him a good hug, but saw Evan Quinn’s expression turn cold.

"Why is Uncle Axel Yates here too?" Evan Quinn turned his head, a little angry.

Axel Yates noticed Evan Quinn’s reaction fully, "Uncle missed you, Evan Quinn, and wanted to see you as soon as possible, so he came with your mom to pick you up! What, don’t you want to see Uncle?"

Evan Quinn buried himself in Sienna’s arms without a word. Normally, he didn’t mind Axel Yates that much, but when his dad was around, he didn’t want Axel Yates there too. Because every time Axel Yates was present, the atmosphere between his dad and mom felt strange.
