I Have A Solo Mommy Plan, But Daddy Refuses to Let Go
Chapter 359: Going Home, Returning to the Lawson Family
CHAPTER 359: CHAPTER 359: GOING HOME, RETURNING TO THE LAWSON FAMILY
"You still have the nerve to laugh! How can you still make me worry like this! Your good days with Evan are just around the corner, yet you don’t cherish them. I wonder how you will manage in the future! And you’ve gone and involved that troublemaker Axel Yates. Do you really think you can get away unscathed?"
Sienna Quinn kept her head down, like a child who had done something wrong.
"I just want to know the outcome, that’s all."
No, she wasn’t wrong. She just didn’t want to argue with Chiara Thorne. Those who don’t understand her, no amount of explanation would make a difference.
Sienna’s inaction only fueled Chiara’s anger further. "What does Landon Lawson’s matter have to do with you? If he wanted to tell you, he would have done so long ago. What’s the point of waiting until now?"
Sienna smiled wryly, "Just let me hit a wall head-on. I guess I won’t turn back until I’ve done so."
Chiara couldn’t help but roll her eyes. Oh my, after all the work, she didn’t gain anything. This Sienna is truly stubborn.
"Since you don’t want to hear it, I won’t bother saying it. If that’s what you want to do, then go ahead and do it. But no matter what, I’m on your side. I just hope you can come to terms with it sooner."
There wasn’t a bit of burden in her heart. After meeting the Warren Family parents, her heart had actually become more at peace. What will come, will come. She had nothing to worry about.
"Where’s Chloe?"
Sienna suddenly asked.
Hearing Sienna’s words, Chiara finally realized that it seemed like Chloe hadn’t been seen for a long time.
"Did you see her just now?"
"I was busy talking to you just now." Sienna was so anxious she was almost about to cry.
"Don’t worry, Chloe is such a smart kid. There’s no way she could be lost." Chiara comforted Sienna.
But the two of them searched for a long time and still couldn’t see his figure.
At this point, Sienna realized that she couldn’t find Evan Quinn’s figure anywhere near the Warren Family home. At first, she thought he was upset that she came here and was playing nearby, waiting patiently for him to come out.
However, after searching everywhere with Chiara, they still couldn’t find his trace.
"Could Chloe have gone to play somewhere else?" Chiara asked.
Sienna quickly shook her head and then analyzed, "No, Chloe is a sensible child. He wouldn’t let me worry for no reason."
At this point, Sienna had a bad premonition come over her.
She furrowed her brows, and a layer of fine sweat appeared on her forehead from her worry and anxiety.
"Sienna, don’t be nervous and worried just yet. Why don’t we report it to the police or ask Axel Yates for help?" Chiara quickly comforted her.
Sienna didn’t want to rely on Axel Yates anymore. For the past few years, it was always him helping her.
Now, she only wanted to use his feelings to get the information she wanted to know.
Now that something happened to Evan, the first person Sienna thought of was Landon Lawson. But Evan’s safety was the most important right now, and they were closest to the Warren Family’s home, so it was the best option available.
Hearing Chiara’s suggestion, Sienna prepared to go back to the Warren Family’s place to find Axel Yates.
"Mommy!"
Suddenly, Evan’s voice erupted from behind her. Sienna turned around and saw Evan’s small figure appear in front of her. She wanted to rush over excitedly.
But her body suddenly fell into a warm embrace.
Landon Lawson wrapped Sienna tightly in his arms, one arm holding her firmly as if he wanted to meld her into his being.
"Sienna, are you okay?" Before Sienna could react, the man’s worried voice sounded in her ear.
"I’m fine, but you’re hugging me too tightly," Sienna said, even though she hadn’t figured out the situation, she first reassured Landon.
Landon deepened his brow furrow and then released Sienna, his eyes examining her from head to toe, realizing she was unharmed, standing perfectly intact in front of him. He knew he had been tricked by his son.
Landon was in a foul mood, sulking at home when suddenly Evan called him, saying Sienna had accidentally fallen down some high steps, injuring herself all over, scaring him into rushing over in his car to the address Evan provided.
"Evan, what’s going on?" Realizing he had been deceived, Landon opened his mouth coldly, questioning Evan with emphasis on each word.
Evan laughed awkwardly, his little fangs exposed in the air. "Daddy, look how much you care about Mommy. This way, Mommy will know you care about her."
Sienna was stunned. So the little guy did all this for the two of them. But hadn’t she made it clear to him? Now they needed to put on a show.
"You should leave now," Sienna suddenly said.
The man furrowed his brows tightly, looking at the woman in front of him in confusion. "Why should I leave? Is this your home?"
Landon’s temper wasn’t very good either. Seeing Sienna and Axel Yates together was already pushing him to the brink of rage, but since Axel was standing next to him at that time, he could only swallow his anger.
But now it was different. Only a few of them were present.
Seeing Landon’s stubborn reluctance to leave, Sienna was spinning in circles with anxiety, afraid that if Axel came out and saw them, it would really be difficult to explain.
Looking at Landon’s awkward expression, Sienna took the initiative to hold his arm. "Let’s go home."
Landon was also surprised to glance at Sienna. "Where? Which home are we going to?"
Hadn’t she just left with Axel Yates? Why is she now saying to go home with him again? The man’s eyes scrutinized the woman carefully.
He had wanted to let Felix Orwell take care of her before, but when he saw Sienna with another man, he was so angry he almost wanted to tear the man standing next to her to pieces.
"Of course, to the Lawson Family," Sienna quickly replied.
Landon smiled, examining Sienna with eyes slightly narrowed, then curled his lips into a small smile. "Alright, let’s go home."
"Yay, going home! Finally, a family reunion," Evan said joyfully, standing to the side, clapping his hands continuously, having long forgotten about the scare he caused Landon and Sienna.
Landon, content, glanced at Evan and discreetly gave him a thumbs up. It seemed no one understood him better than his precious son.
Only his son could play a decisive role at critical moments.
Evan proudly stuck out his little tongue. For him, this kind of small matter was effortless, not worth mentioning.
But Chiara standing next to them was anxious. When she saw Landon, all her bottled-up temper erupted instantly.
"Landon Lawson, how dare you come and find Sienna?"
Chiara’s words were blunt and merciless.
Sienna paused for a moment, "Chiara Thorne!"
"Alright, alright, I won’t say anything more, okay?" Chiara shrugged her shoulders helplessly.
