I Have A Solo Mommy Plan, But Daddy Refuses to Let Go
Chapter 56: Top Attorney
CHAPTER 56: CHAPTER 56: TOP ATTORNEY
Could he really be such a formidable lawyer to have gotten rid of her so easily?
"Sienna Quinn... such a beautiful name." Todd Lowell whispered the name on the business card, a slight smile on his lips.
Because of this small incident, Sienna reminded Evan Quinn to behave himself in the kindergarten. Ruffling his hair, she said with a bright smile, "I didn’t expect you’d start learning to chase girls at such a young age."
"I... I didn’t, don’t talk nonsense."
Evan straightened his neck, his handsome little face blushing crimson.
Seeing her son shy from her teasing, she left the kindergarten satisfied.
"Miss Quinn!"
Hearing a voice behind her, Sienna turned her head, only to see Chloe’s father, Todd Lowell, walking out. The woman was taken aback for a moment but courteously looked at Todd.
"Miss Quinn, I’m really grateful for what you did today. If there’s ever a time you need my help, feel free to give me a call."
"It’s all thanks to Chloe, and besides, she’s such a cute little girl."
Sienna responded with a bright smile, not taking the man’s words to heart.

As the two stood talking at the kindergarten entrance, a man in the corner with a baseball cap could be seen secretly taking photos of Sienna, a smirk on his lips.
A sudden vibration from her phone, Vera Yates took it out and, looking at the message, her gaze gradually darkened, "So this is where it is."
Placing the phone aside, the screen clearly showed a photo of Sienna and Todd Lowell being snapped secretly.
Ever since she heard Sienna make that phone call, Vera felt something was amiss. For five years, Sienna had never had contact with anyone here, and the Quinn family didn’t have any children attending kindergarten, so who was this kindergarten child?
In an instant, Vera became intrigued.
She had people start tailing Sienna, finally locating this kindergarten.
With a slight smile, she thought it might be worthwhile to check out this little one that Sienna keeps so dear to her heart and see what secrets this child holds.
"Miss Vance, someone is here for you at the door." Her assistant pushed the door open.
"Who is it? Didn’t I say I won’t meet anyone?"
Vera nodded, having publicized that she was unwell and halted all filming. Yet, these days, journalists camped outside her door, eager for news. After all, an affair involving a popular actress was a hot topic among netizens, and the narrative had also turned, showing Sienna as Landon Lawson’s fiancée.
Every time Vera thought of this, she felt a gnawing anger, her once calm and composed face now filled with resentment.
"It’s a lady with the last name Quinn, says she’s a friend of yours."
Quinn? Sienna?
Vera’s lips slowly curved upward, surprised that she’d come knocking herself. Was this meant as a show of force?
"Let her in." Vera sat up straight, and in walked a woman in an exquisite little dress, glittering as if wearing all the most expensive items.
The woman’s eyes slightly hardened, a slight smile on her lips, not expecting it to be her.
Clara Quinn, Sienna’s cousin, the daughter of the Quinn family’s second son.
As soon as Clara entered, she glanced around, making herself at home, and sat down casually.
"Is this Landon Lawson’s arrangement? Since you’re already with him, keep a tight leash on your man. How could such news come out?"
Clara’s voice was somewhat sharp, quite blunt.
Sitting on the bed, Vera looked listless and spiritless, "Claire, it’s you."
"You know Sienna’s back, right?"
"I... of course I know." Vera shook her head with a bitter smile.
Seeing her in such a meek state, Clara impatiently waved, "Your man is almost taken away by her, are you just going to let it slide? I’m here today to tell you I’m on your side."
Vera’s lips curled up, thinking Clara might make a great ally.
...
Jason watched the news, frowning slightly, not expecting the company’s most promising partners to have such a background. He had the assistant call both companies to set up a meeting in the afternoon, planning to conduct evaluations and investigations afterward.
Receiving the message, Sienna drove from the kindergarten to the hotel where Jason and others were waiting, pushed the door open, and saw everyone had already arrived. Surprisingly, Landon Lawson was not present today, with only Nolan Shaw there on his behalf.
Not seeing him made Sienna feel a bit hollow inside, inexplicably uncomfortable.
"President Quinn!" Sean Carter quietly reminded Sienna, who was standing dazed at the door.
Jason placed two files on the table, "I’ve reviewed both proposals. They’re both excellent. We’ll be visiting your company for an inspection in the coming days."
Sienna smiled. The proposal was resolved with Sean Carter’s help, and Herman Lowell and others had worked overtime for days. With the current results, they could finally account to Axel Yates.
Jason hesitated, looking at Sienna, then lightly coughed, "President Quinn, your relationship with President Lawson has nothing to do with business, so I hope there won’t be any complications."
Sienna understood Jason’s concerns, and considering recent rumors affecting her, if not for Axel’s strong trust, it would be tough to stay at Yates Group.
The gossip alone could drown someone.
"Business is business, and personal is personal; I can distinguish between the two. Our Yates Group has always maintained a clear division between public and private matters."
With Sienna’s confirmation, Jason nodded in satisfaction.
Nolan Shaw watched the composed and confident Sienna, feeling a bit dazed. He had seen this wife of the president a few times five years ago, often unable to shake her off while following Landon. Back then, she was an inexperienced, innocent girl.
But now, she was a seasoned professional, adept in her affairs, yet surprisingly not much older.
At least in Nolan’s view, she had gotten better over these five years away from Landon Lawson.
After seeing Jason off, Nolan followed behind Sienna, several times appearing as if he wanted to speak but hesitating.
Sean Carter raised an eyebrow at Sienna, a playful smirk on his face.
"Could it be another admirer of yours? Since school, you’ve had no shortage of suitors."
Sienna rolled her eyes at Sean, his unserious demeanor outside of work, paused, then turned to Nolan.
The glance made Nolan unsure of what to do.
"Do you have something to say?"
Nolan awkwardly rubbed his hands, his eyes darting around—a look rarely seen on his face. Having worked alongside Landon for years, his self-control was usually unrivaled, but today he seemed unusually different.
