I Have Divorced Your Sister, Why Are You Not Leaving?
Chapter 109
Chapter 109: Clean
Suddenly, Bai Lulu felt a sharp pain in her ankle.
“What’s wrong, Auntie Bai?”
Li Mo leaned in, inhaling her pleasant scent, and felt his dopamine levels rising.
“I probably haven’t worn high heels in too long. I wandered around Yan City Airport for quite a while today, and now my ankle is sore.”
Li Mo glanced at her shapely legs in black stockings.
“Which foot? The left or the right?”
“The right one. It should be fine after some rest.”
Without another word, Li Mo offered, “Let me massage it for you.”
Gently, he lifted her beautiful leg onto his lap. Bai Lulu was taken aback that Li Mo showed no hesitation or reluctance, immediately offering to massage her ankle.
His eagerness made her feel somewhat uneasy. Li Mo treated her with exceptional care and attentiveness. She had merely mentioned her sore ankle, and he was already massaging it.
“Xiao Mo, this is a bit embarrassing for Auntie.”
Li Mo admired the black-stockinged leg resting on his lap. “Just think of me as a child.”
“Your legs are truly beautiful.”
He marveled at them. There weren’t many women in the world with such beautiful legs, yet he seemed to know quite a few.
Li Mo massaged her ankle with great care, and Bai Lulu could feel his skill. The soreness gradually eased.
“Xiao Mo, have you studied first aid or massage? Did you learn some medicine before?”
Bai Lulu recalled how Li Mo had administered first aid to her last time… Had it not been for him, she would have died at Xizi Lake. His techniques were very professional, like those of a trained medical expert.
“Auntie Bai, not long ago, on a whim, I took a short course and learned some first aid knowledge, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, artificial respiration… all from that training.”
“Little did I know, shortly after learning it, I would encounter you while boating on Xizi Lake.”
His words made Bai Lulu feel deeply that fate had brought them together. Why would an ordinary young man bother learning first aid? On a mere whim, he had encountered her on that very day and saved her from the brink of death.
She did believe in fate to some extent.
“It seems we are truly destined.”
Li Mo’s hands seemed magical, swiftly alleviating the soreness in Bai Lulu’s ankle.
“Auntie, does your foot have any odor?”
Li Mo shook his head.
“It’s very clean. There’s no dirty part on you,” Li Mo said earnestly. He could only smell the faint, pleasant fragrance that always surrounded Bai Lulu, nothing else.
Her skin seemed fair and flawless everywhere, even with a touch of pink tenderness. For a woman of her caliber, dirt or unpleasantness seemed non-existent.
Hearing Li Mo’s words, Bai Lulu subconsciously relaxed. She knew perfectly well that there was no odor on her body, yet she had felt a faint worry that Li Mo might find her off-putting. But she could tell that Li Mo held not even a trace of disdain towards her. He seemed to genuinely like her. This special connection made Bai Lulu feel she ought to cherish it properly. Their meeting was simply too coincidental.
As Li Mo massaged Bai Lulu’s ankle, the waitstaff began serving dishes to the private room. Whenever someone entered, Li Mo would lower Bai Lulu’s leg back down. Even though the servers were all women, he still felt the need to protect Bai Lulu’s privacy.
The servers were accustomed to such scenes. The lives of the wealthy were just this unpretentious, surrounded by numerous women, it wasn’t strange for them to do certain things in private rooms. Li Mo’s behavior was actually quite restrained in comparison.
