I'll Raise My Future Omega Son-in-law
Chapter 84: LUCKY STREAK
CHAPTER 84: LUCKY STREAK
PARK SOOJUNG.
Park Soojin.
Jang Aecha.
Kim Bora.
Those were the names of An Baekya’s new classmates.
The class was dominated by girls.
Only Soojung and I are boys.
It wasn’t a surprise, though.
Even back when I was an acting coach for kids, there had always been more female students than males.
"How old are you, Baekya?" Park Soojin, who had always been vocal, asked bluntly. "You’re tiny, like my baby cousin. And she’s only three!"
Aigoo.
Well, I used to be malnourished. So, of course, my growth was halted after years of starving.
Plus, most male Omegas tended to be on the petite side.
But there are male Omegas like Appa who are big and tall like an Alpha.
"I’m not a baby," An Baekya said, smiling and acting shy. "I’m already 5 years old."
"Then you’re a baby!" Park Soojin claimed. "You’re the youngest here. Soojung and I are both seven years old, and we’re the oldest here. Call me ’noona!’"
"Me, too," Jang Aecha said in a calm voice. Out of all the kids there, Jang Aecha was the calmest. "I’m six years old."
"I-I’m six, too," Kim Bora said shyly, and couldn’t even make eye contact with anyone. "Y-You can call me ’noona,’ too."
An Baekya smiled and nodded. "Okay, Soojin Noona, Aecha Noona, and Bora Noona."
It was weird calling little girls ’noona.’
But what could An Baekya do?
I’m possessing the body of a five-year-old boy.
"Then you should call me ’hyung,’" Park Soojung said, crossing his arms over his chest. "I’m the oldest here because I was born earlier than Soojin."
Park Soojin rolled her eyes. "By only fifteen seconds."
Right.
An Baekya remembered that Park Soojung and Park Soojin often bickered in the past because Park Soojung kept acting like a ’big brother’ despite only being older than Park Soojin by fifteen seconds.
Their bicker was fun, though— they genuinely cared about each other, after all.
He even remembered Park Soojin cursing him out after Yun Yuhyun beat the hell out of Park Soojung out of jealousy.
I deserved Park Soojin’s hate back then.
"Baekya, did you not hear me?"
"I heard you loud and clear," An Baekya said, smiling. "Soojung Hyung."
Park Soojung smiled as if he were satisfied.
Haaah.
I can’t believe I’m calling Park Soojung ’hyung’ again when it was one of the reasons Yun Yuhyun started hating him.
Yep, Yun Yuhyun hated hearing An Baekya call Park Soojung ’hyung.’
"Now that we’re done with the introductions, it’s time to play a game!"
Whew.
An Baekya was relieved that Coach Kwon Taeyoo caught the children’s attention.
Those kids keep talking to me because I’m a new face.
"The game is simple," Coach Kwon Taeyoo said excitedly. "All you have to do is think of an animal that you can imitate. Then you have to perform that animal’s movements for the rest of the class without telling them the animal’s identity. The class will guess the animal based on your performance."
Oh.
An Baekya knew that game.
I made my students play the same game before. This game gets kids to think about body language as a form of communication. It also improves their creativity. After all, sometimes, you’re required to act without delivering any lines.
"Who wants to begin!"
"Me, me, me!" Park Soojung said excitedly while jumping and raising his hand. "I want to do it first, Coach!"
An Baekya almost smiled.
Park Soojung is still as energetic as ever.

"WONYOUNG-SSI, say kimchi."
Wonyoung tilted his head to one side. "Kimchi?"
CLICK.
Aigoo.
Wonyoung wasn’t surprised when Spencer Choi snapped another photo of him using his phone.
Yep, ’another.’
Spencer Choi had been taking his pictures of at least ten minutes now.
With my permission, of course.
"Daepyonim, why are you taking my pictures?"
"Oh, I’m planning to send them to Yun Dujun," Spencer Choi said, lifting his head. "Can I?"
"I don’t mind."
Spencer Choi chuckled. "You’re easy to talk to, Wonyoung-ssi."
Wonyoung didn’t understand what the CEO meant by that, and he didn’t want to think about it since he wanted to focus on his food.
Spencer Choi asked him earlier to have lunch with him.
He didn’t want to bother the CEO that much, so he requested to just order food delivery.
And his choice for lunch?
Jokbal~
That was how Wonyoung ended up eating with Spencer Choi in the conference room.
Oh, Daepyonim also invited Director Kang and Writer Shin to eat with us. But the two left in a hurry, saying that they wanted to write the contract as soon as possible. Maybe they were afraid Daepyonim would suddenly change his mind.
His daydreaming was interrupted when he got a call from Yun Dujun.
Suddenly?
"Sunbae-nim, why are you calling at this hour?" Wonyoung asked worriedly when he picked up the call. "You should still be sleeping."
"I’ll send Daepyonim the money for your lunch."
"Huh?"
"I don’t like the fact that he treated you to lunch."
Aigoo.
If Yun Dujun’s sleepy-slash-bedroom voice didn’t sound as sexy as it did, he would have already scolded the Alpha in a harsh way.
But, to be honest, he was actually feeling giddy deep inside.
I know I shouldn’t tolerate this petty jealousy, but it’s cute seeing this side of Sunbae-nim.
"Don’t be silly, Sunbae-nim," Wonyoung scolded the Alpha lightheartedly. "You don’t know what you’re talking about because you’re still sleepy. So, hang up now and sleep more."
"No."
"If you do as I say, I’ll send you pictures of me that you’ll surely love."
"Okay, I’m going back to sleep now."
"Good boy."
Yun Dujun chuckled.
And damn.
Sunbae-nim really sounds sexy.
"Good night, Hoobae-nim. I’ll call you later."
"Yeah. Good night, Sunbae-nim."
After that, Wonyoung ended the call because Yun Dujun wouldn’t hang up on him first.
I’m 90% sure now— Sunbae-nim really likes me in a romantic sense.
Heh.
"Wonyoung-ssi, you’re good at controlling Yun Dujun, huh?"
"I don’t know what you’re talking about, Daepyonim," Wonyoung said while shaking his head. "But why are you teasing Dujun Sunbae-nim with my pictures?"
"Oh, I was just telling Yun Dujun that I’m taking care of you in his place," Spencer Choi said, shrugging. "But you know how Alphas are. They’re ridiculously jealous and territorial."
If you know that, then why provoke Dujun Sunbae-nim?
Wonyoung didn’t say that out loud because Spencer Choi was also an Alpha.
He knows what he’s doing— he’s messing with Sunbae-nim on purpose.
"Wonyoung-ssi, there’s a reason why I asked you to have lunch with me."
"Aside from teasing Sunbae-nim?"
"Yes, aside from that," Spencer Choi said, laughing softly. "Wonyoung-ssi, I’m officially recruiting you to join our agency."
I knew it.
"I’m offering you a contract not because of your relationship with Yun Dujun, but because I genuinely believe in your potential as an actor," Spencer Choi said in a serious tone. "Yun Dujun always speaks highly of you and your acting skills. And, now, Director Kang risked everything just to cast you. I’d be stupid if I didn’t grab you after this."
Aww.
Wonyoung was flattered, of course.
In fact, he was trying his best not to smile like a fool.
What could he do?
I like it when my acting is praised.
"I’ll offer you the same signing bonus and flexible contract that I offered Yun Dujun before," Spencer Choi said. "I guarantee you, Wonyoung-ssi. No other acting agency would offer you the same amount of signing bonus that I’m offering you. Plus, you know how chill I am as a boss, don’t you?"
"Daepyonim, your offer is tempting. Let me think about..."
Wonyoung trailed off when he got a text message from an unknown number.
"Congratulations, Bae Wonyoung-ssi..."
Hmm?
The message that popped up intrigued him, so he excused himself before checking the full text,
"Congratulations, Bae Wonyoung-ssi. You passed the audition as an extra for an upcoming music video. Please check the details below. You’ll get a call once you confirm you’re availability."
Wonyoung gasped out loud, and then he lifted his head to find Spencer Choi looking at him with an amused look on his face. "Daepyonim, I passed another audition!"
Spencer Choi chuckled. "You’re on a lucky streak, Wonyoung-ssi."
***
"DUJUN-AH, your mother is confirmed to have left the resort."
To be honest, Yun Dujun didn’t care about Yun Inyeop’s report about his mother.
He was busy checking out the glass igloo where he and Yun Yuhyun would be spending the remaining days of their vacation.
"Apparently, Kang Chunja suddenly fell sick."
"I see," Yun Dujun said indifferently. "I’ll call Eomma later. Thank you for letting me know, Hyung-nim."
"Our shaman wants to meet you once you return to Korea."
What?
Yun Dujun finally looked at his older brother, his brows furrowed. "Suddenly? That old woman hates my guts."
"Well, you almost killed her before."
Ah, right.
"Anyway, it’s not only you," Yun Inyeop added. "The shaman said you should bring Bae Wonyoung with you to the temple."
Yun Dujun frowned.
Since when did our shaman get interested in my husband?
