CHAPTER 53: CHAPTER 53: LEO’S FINANCIAL FRAUD; THIRD IDENTITY
As Leo came out of the warp, another month had passed on earth. It was the completion of his third month with the system. It was time for another payout.

[You have successfully achieved a loss! Congratulations Host!]
He had finally wasted all the funds in his investment account that he had received from the Hero Guild.
At this point, he was officially bankrupt. However, it didn’t mean he was truly poor. He had a secret account which received another boost.
[You have been granted double the rebate in your personal account. You can use the money freely on investments or your personal leisure]
[You have been rewarded with 100,000 Credits]
[Congratulations Host. Keep striving for more losses!]
"Only a hundred thousand... Should I have listened to my conscience and invested the credits I earned last time?"
Leo looked at the reward screen and sighed. Now, he had 18.8 million credits in his personal account.
It was nowhere close to the credits he had received from the Hero Guild in one fell sweep. But it was still more than what an ordinary human could have earned in their lifetime.
"No! Even if I waste my personal credits, I would have earned less than forty million credits in a month. In that month, I would have been left with nothing. This small profit isn’t enough... I need to play the big cards..."
"If I want to lose money, a mere eighteen million is nothing. I have to go bigger! This private fund will play a crucial hand in my next plan, especially since it can’t be traced..."
"I can’t lose sight of the great plan for small monthly benefits," he mumbled, as he picked up his phone. "It’s finally time to put my plan in motion."
"It’s time for Alpha Corp to go public! That way, I can take a loan on the shares, and achieve even greater losses!"
While he was on the ship, he filed an application to take the Alpha Corp public. It was only a formality though, since he knew that no one was going to invest in an unknown company that was recently established.
His plan was simple. Take his company public, keep ninety nine percent shares for himself as the owner. And sell one percent shares.
Of course, that one percent share wasn’t for the public either. He was going to buy those shares with his private funds, using a fake identity.
"If only one percent share of the company sells for close to twenty million, where would that place the entire company’s worth? I can take a loan on the inflated share prices as collateral."
"In one fell swoop, I would have enough money to put the next plan in motion. I will not lose millions this time. I will lose billions!"
The only reason he didn’t put this plan in motion before was that he wanted to do it when he was back on earth. He had to constantly oversee the process.
He shouldn’t be in a Spatial Crack where a few minutes were equal to a month on earth. The reason he delayed this plan was because he wanted to claim all the time, without losing a second.
And more importantly, it was because he wanted to appreciate the great spectacle that he was creating for his future wealth.
"I’m sure there would be many investigations on my company if I artificially inflate the share price. But so what? They can’t trace the source of those funds... This is a foolproof plan!"
After filing an application to take his company public, he placed his phone down.
He picked up the device that he had ’borrowed’ from Viserl, the leader of the Galactic Union.
Viserl had already arranged a new device for himself, and sent a message to Leo.
Only Viserl knew how heart wrenching it felt to go back to the old model from the more advanced development model. Still, his message didn’t convey any such bitterness.
"Keep searching for my brother while keeping it a secret. Oh, and I need you to do one more thing. I have a friend, who needs a fake identity. Arrange one on your planet..."
Leo gave Viserl a few more instructions before putting the device back.
Viserl had a lot of questions about the person that Leo called a friend, but he knew that he couldn’t ask such questions.
He followed the instructions, and another official identity was created for Leo in Vitrean Planet.
Leo had asked for a fake identity. But the instructions were given to the Emperor of Vitrean Planet. What could be more official than him personally creating the highest ranking identity within his empire?
Leo didn’t realize that Viserl had even given a step beyond, and made it an Identity of a Noble. It was so official that even Leo would’ve been stunned if he saw it.
A mortal that an Elder from Necropolis called a friend? How could Viserl look down on that person?
Viserl, trying to impress this mysterious friend, even granted a Dukedom to the newly created noble who no one had seen yet.
Leo had received a third identity. He was a noble of a High Planet, one whose Emperor was currently the democratically elected Leader of the Galactic Union for the next few years.
This was the first time that someone, who didn’t belong to the Vitrean Species was given a noble title in the Vitrean Empire, especially someone who was claimed to be a human.
Many nobles in the Vitrean Empire raised questions about the procedure, but all resistance was suppressed by Viserl without mentioning that it was an order from an ancient civilization.
Unaware of another change that he had caused, Leo finally returned to Earth, the majestic Necropolis Ship passing through all detection of earth without any problems.
Even the Galactic Union couldn’t detect the ship without Leo’s permission. So what were earth’s defenses?
Leo didn’t take the ship to earth as the planet itself was smaller than the ship. He simply beamed himself down from the ship, leaving the ship hovering nearby, invisible like a ghost.
