CHAPTER 1800: EXPLAINING HIS PLAN

"Absolutely right on the spot," Hye clapped for what she just said, "still you don’t get it, do you?" He turned to look at the pirate king who was still confused.

"Even she didn’t get it," to not look the only stupid one here, he pointed towards the lady nymph, who simply waved her hair in a showy way, "he is my man by the way."

"Ok, let me explain for the two of you, and everyone else, what I did back there..." Hye started to speak up, while his top leaders and generals were in that deck with him.

The first thing he mentioned was that the Toranks were playing it dirty behind his back. He exposed how they acted stingy with him and even moved to stop anyone from interfering and helping him when he needed to expand his forces in the universe.

Then a chance presented itself, the caravan that was highly secured by the Toranks. He then went over how they went there and how they acted till the very end. And then he revealed his big move.

"... I made sure that we ran towards the direction where the Hescos came from. As the pirate king announced his responsibility for this attack, everyone’s attention will be directed over this new group of outlaws. Of course, the Toranks suspected me of doing this, so I made sure they would get confused in the end..."

Hye explained how he gathered all the fleets together and directed them towards the portal. He collected the warriors yet left the ships behind. He made sure to steer the autopilot and let them all head towards the Hescos portal.

What he was aiming at from the start was to find a way to divert any suspicion the Toranks or anyone else might have and push the blame all the way to the Hescos!

As the outlaw power that pulled such theft was brand new, everyone was considering the possibility of them being linked and backed up by a mighty race. And by picking the Hescos as a target, Hye didn’t just throw the blame over them, he also freed himself from any doubt, as he and Hescos were mortal enemies.

"That’s all amazing, but there is something that doesn’t add up," Lily thought deeply about what Hye just said, before asking about her doubt, "the Hescos attacked and destroyed your fleet, so it’ll be proved that they don’t work together..."

"Wrong," Hye interrupted her, "in fact what they did was exactly the opposite, they didn’t push away the blame like that, they made it stuck deeper."

"I don’t get it," Isaac muttered, "if it was me, I wouldn’t suspect them after what they did."

"Unless..." Legend said in a low tone as he was lost in his thoughts.

"Unless they would be seen as trying to cover up what they did by doing that," Sara finally said, "it’s not easy to guess that, but I believe the stronger the race the more complicated and twisted their thoughts would be."

"Bingo," Hye raised a thumbs up for Sara and Legend, "now they won’t suspect some random guy who is supposed to be far away from that war, they’ll just turn their blades against their old and sworn enemies."

"That’s something, I give you that," the pirate king paused, before pointing towards the screen he was looking at, "that still doesn’t explain why every side is picking one enemy to hit, and there isn’t an all-out war back there!"

"Yes, that’s a good question," Hye paused, before adding, "as I was saying, when they find links to old enemies, they’ll just jump over this enemy and forget anything else. That’s why the Toranks are attacking the Hescos, as they think they are the ones who stole the caravan from them."

"That I can get," the pirate king was quite eager to know why, "but how about the other two?"

"The Hescos know they didn’t do it, so their blades are targeting the race they think they pulled this big trick over them, stole the caravan, and ended up framing them," Hye said, while everyone started to see how this bizarre situation was explained.

"As for the Selvators, they didn’t buy that the Hescos did it, and instead they went far ahead, thinking this was all the Toranks scheme and they all just fell into it."

"The Toranks would play such a game to make everyone think the caravan got stolen from them? What a reason!!" Sara couldn’t believe how the Selvators ended up with such a conclusion.

"In such a messy situation, any explanation can be the right one," Hye scratched his head, "despite me not seeing this coming, it’s still playing to our favour."

"Ok," everyone turned their attention to Hye, "now what shall we do?"

"We’ll take a day off," Hye pointed at himself, "it’s only me taking the day off. As for you, all of you, you need to go back to work."

"You returned to be the old cold Hye," Sara rolled her eyes, and everyone else couldn’t help nodding in agreement.

"I need to put my mind in a peace mood for now," Hye wasn’t lying, after all he felt like he overexerted himself back there.

He had to think of a very complicated plan that he kept changing and modifying throughout an intense and ever-changing war. Aside from that, he also wanted to see what was inside the caravan.

"Want any company?" The lady nymph was the first to try to secure a chance with Hye, and she didn’t get the glaring eyes that turned and looked at her.

"I will rest alone," Hye felt he would be walking into a death trap if he entertained this thought or possibility, "now you all should go back and do your stuff, especially you two," he pointed towards the lady nymph and the pirate king.

Then he took his staff out, waved it as he opened a portal. Hye didn’t even look behind as he walked through it and left.
