This is the very famous 'Wudang Golden Hall.'

The Wudang Golden Hall was built in the fourteenth year of the Yongle reign of the Great Ming, facing east and extending three bays 5.8 meters wide and three bays 4.2 meters deep, with a height of 5.54 meters, imitating wood structure gilded bronze hall.

The double-eaved hip-and-gable roof, the hall's body is made with bronze lattice panels, on which are cast large and small framed beams; the upper eaves make double overhang and dragon pillars with nine column-supporting corbels supporting the eave rafters.

The lower eaves apply single overhang dragon pillars with seven gilded corbels, and the eaves bear a suspended bronze plaque engraved with the words 'Golden Hall.'

All components of the Golden Hall were cast separately, assembled using mortise-tenon joints, and completely gilded, with a tight and precise structure without any traces of chiseling.

Inside the hall is the statue of Zhenwu Grandmaster, with a golden child holding a book on the left and a jade maiden holding a seal on the right, and two generals of water and fire holding flags and swords, with a calligraphy plaque of 'Golden Light Marvelous Form' by Emperor Kangxi hung on the rear wall.

According to the 'True Records and Mysterious Scripture of the Tai Shang on the Divine Curse of Zhenwu,' the Northern Zhenwu Emperor of Black Heaven, that is, Zhenwu Grandmaster, is the eighty-second transformation of Tai Shang Laojun.

Born in the Supreme Realm without desires, as the son of King Jingle and Empress Shansheng, it was through the Empress dreaming of swallowing the sun, subsequently conceiving, and after fourteen months and over four hundred days, born in the royal palace.

When Zhenwu the Crown Prince grew up, he left his family and parents to cultivate the Dao at Wudang, achieving success after 42 years, ascending to heaven in broad daylight.

Wudang is the place where Zhenwu Crown Prince practiced and ascended, and after Zhenwu Crown Prince attained Dao and soared, he was assigned by the Emperor to guard the north as the Northern Zhenwu Emperor of Black Heaven.

This Emperor is the 'Supreme Opening Heaven Holding Talisman Presiding over Truth Body Explaining Dao Golden Palace Cloud Hall Nine Skies Presiding over Myriad Dao Non-Action Great Dao Ming Palace Resplendent Heaven Golden Palace Supreme Jade Emperor Pardoning Sins Great Heaven Venerating Black Dome High Emperor.'

That is, the leader of Daoist School's celestial beings, the 'Jade Emperor,' unrelated to the Christian God.

Ming Emperor Zhu Di, as the Vassal King, rose from the north, marched southward to seize the throne, claiming that 'Zhenwu Grandmaster' assisted him in bringing peace.

Henceforth 'assigned by heaven, enduringly prosperous,' the Wudang Golden Hall dedicated to worshipping Zhenwu Grandmaster became a grand project of the Great Ming at the time.

According to records in 'Ming History' and 'Wudang Mountain Chronicles,' all components of the Wudang Golden Hall were cast in Beijing.

Later, the components were shipped via the Grand Canal through Jinling upstream along the Yangtze River to Wudang, then assembled with mortise-tenon joints.

The Yongle Emperor specifically issued an imperial order on the ships transporting the goods, stating 'Be cautious; only proceed with sunny weather and favorable winds and waters, and cooking is not allowed on the ship.'

Initially, at the top of Celestial Pillar Peak, the Wudang Golden Hall only had a main hall.

Later in the Qing Dynasty, three side halls were added to the south, north, and west sides of the Golden Hall, and by the Republic, halls for parents, left-right sign rooms, and printing rooms were built behind the Golden Hall.

This completed the current scale.

As Wang Longhu landed in the dark night, the Wudang Golden Hall atop the mountain came into his view.

Two tall bronze cranes on the sides of the Golden Hall were quite eye-catching, but Wang Longhu merely glanced at them before locking his gaze on the interior of the Golden Hall.

Yet his lower body was incredibly ethereal, making the shape of his legs impossible to discern, only a vague outline could perhaps be seen.

In other words, it was evident this guy wasn't human, with waver-style description, it was indeed encountering a spirit.

"You can sense my presence, young friend, have you progressed to that stage?"

The old man's expression showed surprise as he looked at Wang Longhu.

"What stage? Wudang is a sacred ground of Daoist School, what is your purpose for hiding as a neither human nor ghost in the Golden Hall dedicated to Zhenwu Grandmaster?"

Wang Longhu scrutinized the elder, also deeply in shock inwardly.

Initially, he thought the one hiding in this place would be an ancestor of Wudang, perhaps having achieved Condensing Pill with the Three Elixirs, comprehending the ways of the world.

Only then in seclusion here, as Wudang's mysterious guardian.

But what shocked Wang Longhu beyond imagination was that the other was not human, rather...like an out-of-body spirit presence.
