I Really Am A Villain
Chapter 1073 - What Guidance Does Fellow Daoist Offer?
With a bang, the entire spear disintegrated completely.
It turned into a wisp of breeze, as if it had never existed.
Xiao Ye stared dumbfoundedly at his now empty hands, frozen in place.
Xu Zimo patted his shoulder, then pointed at Xia Wanqing and Lin Yunhen behind him, speaking to Xiao Ye.
“These two will remain in Thousand-Ox Dao Court from now on. The fact that you’re alive is thanks to them. You should understand what I mean.”
After saying this, he shoved the stunned Xiao Ye aside.
Looking up at Dongfang Li in the sky, he asked, “Where is your Grand Emperor, Hidden Ox?”
“Impudent! How dare you call out the name of our ancestor directly!” the Grand Elder barked coldly.
“A name is meant to be spoken, isn’t it?” Xu Zimo replied calmly. “If not, then why give him such an imperial title? If you refuse to answer, I’ll just find him myself.”
With that, he turned and continued walking toward the Land of Dao Source.
But after only a few steps, several figures blocked his path.
“Luo Baichou of the Third Immortal Mountain.”
“Green Phoenix of the Second Immortal Mountain.”
“Nameless of the First Immortal Mountain.”
The three stood firmly before Xu Zimo, their overwhelming auras spreading outward.
“You intend to stop me?” Xu Zimo asked.
“It is our duty. The Land of Dao Source cannot be desecrated,” Green Phoenix replied coldly.
The three each wielded their weapons. What gathered around them was not merely Empyrean Meridian power, but God Meridian power.
And these three streams of power surged higher and higher, like storms tearing the heavens, transforming into dazzling emerald light.
“Ten-Thousand Heavenly-Vines!” Green Phoenix roared.
From beneath his feet, countless thorny vines erupted, spreading like a dense web, lashing toward Xu Zimo.
Meanwhile, Luo Baichou slowly drew a black sword from his waist. A glimmer of sword light flashed.
The black hair atop his head instantly turned as white as snow, cascading down his shoulders.
His brow furrowed deeply, sword dancing in his hand.
“With all of you, we grow white-haired together. Amid sorrow, the heavens and earth feel boundless and desolate.”
The last disciple was Nameless.
His gaze remained calm, yet his aura was immense and suffocating, spilling outward steadily.
A heavy chain coiled around his arms.
Dragging the chain forward, the very spiritual essence of heaven and earth warped.
Sun and moon revolved, yin and yang reversed, time and space forcibly severed.
“That’s the Two-Form Chain!” a nearby disciple exclaimed in shock.
“Seems Senior Brother Nameless feels tremendous pressure, even using his life-saving treasure. That’s ranked fifty-first among the Grand Thousand Treasures!”
Three men, three overwhelming auras, shrouded the battlefield.
In the sky above, Lady Yu smiled as though watching a play.
“Does Sacred Lord Dongfang think they have a chance of winning?”
Dongfang Li’s face darkened.
After all, three against one carried the stench of dishonor.
For great powers like theirs, face and reputation mattered dearly.
“I trust in the three of them,” Dongfang Li replied coolly.
But the ease from before was gone.
“Oh? Is that so?” Lady Yu chuckled. “I, however, have more faith in that young man.”
“Then let’s wait and see,” Dongfang Li answered.
As the three attacked, Xu Zimo’s expression remained calm.
“I don’t have time to play with kids,” he said, shaking his head lightly.
“Shadow Tyrant!”
A deafening boom tore through the void. Shadow Tyrant traversed endless time and space, emerging in the heavens above.
Like a blazing fireball, it streaked across the void, igniting flames as it descended.
Shadow Tyrant fell straight toward Green Phoenix.
Green Phoenix’s expression twisted in shock. Feeling the overwhelming power, he summoned layer upon layer of vines to shield above him.
But it was useless.
When Shadow Tyrant fell, everything in its path was annihilated.
With a scream, Green Phoenix’s vines disintegrated. His charred body was blasted away.
The blade turned sharply, then slashed toward Luo Baichou.
“Grim Ghost!” Luo Baichou roared.
His sword swung, summoning a ghastly ghost head overhead.
The ghost lunged to devour the blade, but was instantly pierced through.
Shadow Tyrant struck Luo Baichou’s sword.
His body flew back violently. Under the crushing force, the sword hilt reversed, stabbing through his own chest.
Xu Zimo snapped his fingers.
The blade swerved once more, now aiming for Nameless.
Nameless’ eyes grew solemn as he drew a deep breath.
His Two-Form Chain snapped open, his true destiny manifesting behind him as he stepped into the path of Yin-Yang.
The chain connected with his essence, transforming into black and white twin fish, coiling to consume the blade.
The Shadow Tyrant collided with the chain, sparks exploding outward.
Nameless was pushed back relentlessly, until finally he crashed into a distant immortal mountain, his body embedded into its surface by sheer force.
With a single gesture, Xu Zimo recalled Shadow Tyrant into his hand.
Exuding unrestrained dominance, his gaze swept across the crowd.
In a quiet voice, he asked, “Who else wants to block me?”
The surroundings fell into dead silence.
Even the figures in the sky were left stunned.
Things had already gone beyond their control.
“He’s stepped into the Path of Immortality. Summon the Progenitors!” Dongfang Li shouted.
At his cry, from a far-off mountain came the tolling of a bell.
Like a divine bull’s roar, the bell’s chimes shook the soul, echoing across the four seas.
This was the Nine-Moo Bell, rung only when the sect faced a crisis.
The moment it rang, beams of terrifying light shot into the heavens from the core of the Land of Dao Source.
The sky seemed torn apart, thunder and lightning raging.
Several suffocating figures radiating ancient power stepped out into the void.
“That’s Thousand Arms Progenitor! And Divine Martial Progenitor! And Nine Howls Progenitor…”
The disciples of Thousand-Ox Dao Court shouted in awe.
These were the sect’s senior-most powerhouses. Normally, they never emerged, secluding themselves in the Land of Dao Source to cultivate and seek enlightenment in the Grand Emperor’s Dao.
“What matter calls us forth?” came an aged voice.
“A powerful intruder has broken into the Dao Court. We cannot stop him,” Dongfang Li and the elders explained quickly.
“Useless!” the fiery-tempered Nine Howls Progenitor roared.
“How strange, how strange indeed,” muttered Thousand Arms Progenitor, frowning. The compass in his hand spun restlessly. “I cannot see through him.”
“Why has Fellow Daoist come to my Thousand-Ox Dao Court?”
“I won’t repeat myself,” Xu Zimo answered coldly. “Bring forth Hidden Ox Emperor. You old fossils can crawl back into seclusion.”
“Impudence! Do you think our Grand Emperor is someone a brat like you can see?!” Nine Howls Progenitor bellowed.
Xu Zimo lifted his head, eyes calm.
In the next instant, his figure vanished.
When he reappeared, he was right beside Nine Howls Progenitor.
A single kick sent the old ancestor flying.
Before Nine Howls Progenitor even landed, Xu Zimo was already there waiting.
A fist crashed down, carrying enough force to obliterate his very soul.
But at the last moment...
A colossal palm stretched across the river of time itself, intercepting the blow.
“Fellow Daoist, what guidance do you seek from me?”
From that palm erupted an imperial might so vast it shook the heavens.
