I Received System to Become Dragonborn
Chapter 1133: Going Out
CHAPTER 1133: GOING OUT
When the elevator doors opened, Adrien and Billy could hear the storm’s roar rushed in. Rain slashed through the dark day, and the rooftop stretched before them. Outside they can see broken machinery, debris, and flickering lights.
Adrien and Billy stepped out from the elevator and walked with large strides.
The soldiers stationed here were no longer on the open roof. Most of them huddled under a half-collapsed metal awning. Their uniforms drenched and their weapons clutched in their trembling hands.
No one dared to stand out in the open where wild lightning still clawed at the air. Their faces were fearful. Their eyes went wide as they turned toward the two men who had just arrived.
Adrien and Billy didn’t bring rifles. The firearms seems useless now. Instead, short combat machetes hung from their belts.
The two men walked forward with determination and hard expressions. Their steady and unflinching steps echoed faintly against the rooftop.
The squad leader stepped forward, his voice raised over the storm. "Captain, some of us are injured, but not too bad. Fortunately the creature still looked unstable so it’s not attacking at full strength."
Adrien gave a short nod, his gaze calm but cold. "Good. Fall back to the lower sector for now. We’ll take it from here."
The soldiers hesitated only for a second before obeying, their relief visible.
They retreated down the elevator as Adrien turned toward Billy. Both men exchanged a silent understanding. Then Adrien said simply, "Let’s move."
They walked past the threshold and into the open roof. Instantly, the wind struck them.
The rain pounded their faces and clothes, but they didn’t flinch. Lightning flashed again, illuminating the monstrous figure hovering in the sky.
The being’s body glowed with veins of wild arcs of blue and white lightning tearing across his limbs and chest. He swayed violently in midair as if barely holding his stance together.
Adrien’s eyes narrowed. "Now."
Both men moved. In a blink of an eye, their bodies surged with energy. The Magic power that had long been part of their blood and bones finally got the chance to be used properly.
Sparks ran along their arms as thin layers of protective light enveloped their skin. The air around them shimmered and warped slightly from the surge of power.
They launched upward with a loud crack, the concrete below shattering from the force of their leap.
In moments they cut through the downpour. Their bodies glowing faintly while rising into the storm.
Lightning streaked toward them from all directions, but their Magic shields flared, absorbing and redirecting the energy. The bolts crawled harmlessly across their barrier.
Adrien drew his machete in midair, the blade glowing with a pale white sheen. Billy’s weapon shimmered in deep red, wrapped in faint arcs of lightning as well. Both weapons hummed with pure Magic energy after they both infused them with their own Magic power.
They met the being head-on without wasting any time.
Adrien was first to strike. He charged through the rain and slashed across the creature’s chest.
The blade carved a glowing wound, sending sparks and droplets of blood-like light scattering into the air.
The being roared loudly. Lightning burst outward from his body, but Billy was also already close.
He flew in from the other side with Magic swirling around his arms, and drove his machete into the creature’s shoulder.
The slash exploded with impact, throwing a shockwave that rippled through the storm clouds.
Adrien then moved upward and spun behind the being. His Magic barrier deflecting another wild bolt coming at him.
Together, they pressed their attack, each swing of their weapons merging physical precision with Magic power.
For the first time, the creature reeled backward. Its form trembled even more. The light in his eyes flickering more violently.
The lightning around his body sputtered, and another growl rumbled deep from his chest. It sounded pained and enraged, but there was also fear in there.
Billy grinned through the rain. "It’s working, Captain!"
Adrien didn’t smile. His eyes burned with focus, his aura flaring brighter with every second. "Then don’t stop!"
They attack again and again.

The battle in the ruined world had grown more into chaos and destruction. The sky was a swirling maelstrom of crimson clouds from the gore that splattered into the air.
Floating islands of shattered black stone and coalesced flesh of monsters drifted through the air.
Krono’s roar still echoed across the battlefield, shaking the shattered skies. His colossal wings tore through the remaining swarm of abominations that Zerathul had spawned to guard himself.
Every flap of his wings sent golden arcs of light crashing into the beasts that ripping them apart and scattering them.
Erend didn’t hesitate to go through the path Krono had opened. Flames burned across his scales, water streamed from his shoulders, and lightning crawled across his arms in constant flickering veins.
The elements within him now coalesced perfectly, flowing as one.
More abominations roared and surged toward him again. But Erend didn’t slow down.
With every swing of his arm he unleashed waves of blazing attack and vaporized dozens of them.
He kept pushing forward, his eyes locked ahead where Zerathul floated in the distance.
The being was no longer in his physical form. He was enclosed inside a gigantic cocoon of black leather and burning veins of crimson energy, suspended amidst the portal that vomited forth endless abominations. The cocoon pulsed like a heart. It was healing him.
Erend’s jaw tightened.
He broke through the last wave of monsters. The combination of fire, lightning, and water raged around him.
Zerathul’s cocoon loomed before him now. It was pulsating and reeking of death and corruption.
Erend stopped for a heartbeat, letting his body float in midair, power surging within him until the air itself trembled.
The energies of his three elements gathered around his right arm.
The power built higher, brighter, and heavier..
He let out a breath that sounded like a growl, eyes blazing red.
Then he attack.
His arm thrust forward, releasing a blast that combined the fury of all three elements. It hit the cocoon with an explosion that made the entire sky quake.
