"Two tickets for the movie *The Wizard’s Secrets Are Not Easily Revealed*, please."

"Right away."

The attendant responded and showed the available seats.

After choosing and paying, Zayden received the two tickets.

It was a holiday, and they hadn’t made a reservation.

The available seats were at the back.

While he bought the tickets, Catherine bought two bottles of water and some snacks.

"Catherine, I see you bought quite a bit." Zayden looked at the bag in her hand.

"A little." She smiled shyly.

They went to the end of the line.

Minutes later, Zayden and Catherine managed to enter.

"I should have rented a VIP room." Zayden said as soon as they sat in their seats.

"No need." Catherine lifted the armrest separating the two seats, holding his arm against her ample breasts: "I prefer it this way~"

Before the movie started, while they ate some sweets, Zayden discreetly observed the people around.

The reality was that he saw six ’ghosts’ that he started to treat as ’obsessive ghosts.’

The reason for this was simple. These ghosts negatively influence the living who become attached to them.

Everyone he had seen so far, with these obsessive ghosts clinging to them, showed clear signs of fatigue, hunger, and even depression.

He saw a lonely man in a corner with unfocused eyes. It was as if life was draining out of him, and behind him, there was an obsessive ghost with the appearance of a woman with a hideous face.

To someone who didn’t see clearly, it might seem like a protective spirit, but that thing was clearly killing the man.

"Zayden?"

"Yes, I’ll take it." Zayden took the water from her hand.

The movie ended, and people started to leave.

"Wait a bit, I need to go to the bathroom." Catherine said.

"I’ll wait for you here." Zayden replied.

Less than a minute after she left, the number of men waiting increased to double digits.

Some even started talking. The conversation revolved around the girls they were waiting for and... mainly saying "my girlfriend" at every opportunity.

It was as if they feared others wouldn’t know they were waiting for their girlfriends.

"My girlfriend is a model. She’s the most beautiful in the world!"

One of them bragged, even showing a photo on his smartphone.

Zayden thought to himself: ’No matter how beautiful she is, she’ll never be more beautiful than Catherine.’

Okay... Maybe he wasn’t so different from these fools after all...

When Catherine came out, he smiled and went to her.

"What a beautiful girl..."

Some gasps of surprise echoed the moment she appeared.

Not long after, a girl with long blonde hair and light brown eyes came out too. She was almost as tall as Catherine.

"Darling, over here!" The man from earlier, who bragged about his model girlfriend, waved to the girl coming right behind Catherine.

The girl in question didn’t seem to be in a good mood; it was visible when she forced a smile while one of her eyebrows was heavily furrowed.

"Bear." She said, pouting right after: "I’m upset, you have to comfort me."

The ’bear’ was a tall, big man. Not fat, but the type with broad bones. His arm was twice the size of Zayden’s. That’s the level.

Zayden ignored the two and took Catherine’s hand to leave.

However, not everything goes as planned...

"Big Bear, that insolent girl insulted me!" The model girl pointed in Catherine’s direction.

"Huh? Is there something wrong with your head?" Catherine looked at her, saying: "When did I insult you?"

Catherine wasn’t one to take nonsense lying down. When she heard what the woman said, there was no way she’d stay quiet.

"Don’t think I didn’t see!" The model girl shouted, drawing even more attention from the crowd: "You looked at me and laughed as if you were superior to me, as if you were prettier than me!"

"What!?" Catherine was incredulous: "You crazy woman, I don’t even remember seeing you, let alone laughing at you!"

"Hey, watch how you talk to my girlfriend!" The big bear showed a fierce expression.

Seeing this, Zayden stepped in front of Catherine and stared at the man: "Got a problem?"

"Yeah, a big one!" The big bear shouted: "Tell your girlfriend to kneel and apologize to mine, or else... you’re not gonna like what happens next..."

Zayden closed his eyes and opened them. His eyes narrowed as he looked coldly at the man: "Try me."

The hairs on the man called big bear stood on end.

All his instincts screamed ’danger.’ But he ignored those warnings.

He charged like a wild boar toward Zayden.

"Kyahhh!"

Screams echoed.

"Stop!"

The mall security guards appeared.

"Slow." Zayden said indifferently.

To others, the ’big bear’ seemed to move like a bullet train, but to Zayden, he appeared slower than a turtle.

Behind him and Catherine was a white wall. Zayden pulled Catherine into his arms and brought her with him, dodging the big bear and making him miss his punch. At the same time, he kicked the man’s supporting leg, causing him to stumble forward.

*Bang!*

"Ahhh, what pain!!!"

A big, strong man cried.

His face smashed into the wall, his voice sounding strange since his nose hit the concrete wall hard. Considering his weight was over a hundred kilos, the impact was massive.

His forehead was also injured and bleeding; the man’s entire face was red with blood and marks from the impact.

"Big Bear!" The model woman screamed and ran to him.

The man was big and tough, but even though he didn’t pass out, he whimpered in pain.

"Coward!" He shouted with his nasal voice: "You tripped me! I’m gonna sue you!"

Zayden looked at the man ironically.

Catherine, who was in Zayden’s arms, forced herself out and pointed at the couple with serious mental issues:

"First, my boyfriend didn’t start this fight. Second, he didn’t attack first; it was legitimate self-defense. Third, how can a big man like you cry and complain like a little kid? Don’t you have any shame? Geez! It’s like that saying goes, tell me who you hang out with, and I’ll tell you who you are. With an irrational girlfriend like yours, there’s no way you’d be rational!"

"You..." The model woman pointed a trembling finger at Catherine.

"You, you... Can you even hold a conversation? I bet you’ve never done anything without relying on your ’big bear,’ have you?" Catherine said coldly: "Pretending to be a victim, saying I laughed at you just to stir up trouble. Honestly, you should get help before it’s too late!"

"Oh, ho..." Zayden said: "I think you’re surprisingly a fearless girl."

Catherine puffed out her chest proudly: "Girls are always determined! Besides, this couple needed to be put in their place!"

The security guards were confused about what to do, but after hearing everything that happened from the witnesses, they let Zayden and Catherine go.
