Capítulo 360: Aizawa Yumi

Aizawa Yumi had been part of the Yuuna Faction for what felt like her whole life. From the very beginning, she had always stood out—not because she possessed some rare power, not because she was gifted in ways the others weren’t, but simply because of who she was.

She was a princess.

A princess of demons who had inherited the ability to heal, something rare and treasured. But even with that title, there was something about her existence that stained it, something that prevented her from being recognized as one in the eyes of others.

She was born from a forbidden union.

Not exactly a “love affair” the way humans saw it. No, this was the demon race, and their bonds weren’t always tied by something as tender as love. But still—her mother had been nothing more than a servant, and her father had been the Demon Lord himself.

Her birth was something her father never wanted. In fact, the moment he found out, he ordered her mother to end it. To get rid of her before she even had the chance to see the light of day.

But her mother ran. She escaped, carrying Yumi within her until the day she was born. Against all odds, against the will of a Demon Lord himself, Yumi came into this world.

And that child was Aizawa Yumi.

By the time she grew up, her so-called father was no longer the Demon Lord. Someone else had taken the throne. Because of that, she was left alone with her existence no longer something worth hunting down. For the first time, she lived in peace. Not like she ever considered him her father in the first place.

But peace was fragile. And it shattered the moment a new Demon Lord rose.

The one chosen to succeed the throne was her half-brother. It was the legitimate son of the previous demon lord who was also Aizawa Yumi’s father. He was the one who bore the rightful blood.

And the first order he gave was the one that changed everything. He wanted her hunted. He wanted her dead.

To him, she was a threat. Not because she sought the throne—Yumi never cared about that—but because her blood alone was enough to make her dangerous. Anyone sharing the bloodline of the Demon Lord held power, whether they wanted it or not. And so, with her existence deemed unacceptable, bounties were placed on her head.

Her mother was the only shield she had left. The only person who gave her warmth and safety.

But even shields break. Even those who run the farthest are eventually found.

And when they were finally cornered, when escape was no longer possible, her mother did the only thing she could. She threw herself into the fire and used her life to buy Yumi’s. Her last words burned into Yumi’s soul, never to fade—

“Live.”

The command haunted her. She hated it. She cursed her fate. Why was her life spared, when it cost the only person she had ever loved? She loathed herself, loathed the world, loathed everything that had put her in this position. But she obeyed. She lived.

She ran. She endured. She clawed her way through days where death lingered just behind her. No matter how much she hated it, she lived—because that was what her mother told her to do.

But she knew, deep down, there was no escape. She could never truly get away. One day, she would fall. She could feel it in her bones.

And when she was on the edge, ready to collapse into the abyss, a hand reached out.

“Do you want a second chance?”

That was the day Yuuna appeared. That was the day she was given a place. That was the day she became part of the Yuuna Faction.

Years slipped by like flowing water.

Life within the faction became her new normal. So long had she walked alongside Yuuna and the others that it no longer felt like something unusual—it was natural. Almost comforting.

For the first time in her life, Yumi felt like her existence wasn’t meaningless. She had bonds now. She had people she could call comrades.

She grew close with Misuzu, Nagisa, and even Yuuna herself—who, despite constantly doubting her ability to lead, was, in truth, a good leader.

And Yumi found herself realizing something she had never thought possible and that the life her mother died to protect… was worth something after all.

But then, everything shifted again.

Okumura Kouhei entered their world.

At first, he didn’t seem like anything special. Just a human. Average. Forgettable. Sure, there was a hidden charm beneath those messy bangs—almost cute, in a gloomy, emo-kid kind of way—but beyond that, he was nothing remarkable.

He didn’t socialize. He didn’t stand out. He seemed like someone destined to fade into the background.

That was her first impression.

But little by little, she noticed something strange. It wasn’t him that stood out—it was the people around him.

They were changing.

Hina, who used to isolate herself because of her cursed touch—the one that forced anyone she touched into orgasm, and could even kill with prolonged contact—was opening up more. She was reaching out to others, little by little.

Yuuna, who wore her practiced, empty smile like a mask, was now smiling for real.

Misuzu, who once drowned herself in her complexes and desperately sought attention, was learning to ease up, to let herself fade a little more naturally—and it wasn’t in a bad way.

Aria, once cold and hard to approach, had softened, becoming warmer, more approachable and more easier to talk to.

And Nagisa, who had always been bright, was shining even brighter now.

The changes were small, but to Yumi—someone who constantly watched her faction—they were obvious. Clear as day.

And the cause was just as clear.

Kouhei.

Without him, none of this would have happened. Without him, they would’ve stayed the same. It was impossible for such change to happen without someone sparking it. And Yumi knew, without a doubt, that spark was him.

And she was right.

Because when their faction faced its darkest hour, when Kouhei was killed—everything shifted again. That was when Yumi realized just how deeply he had changed all of them. How much he had impacted their lives. Hers included, whether she had realized it before or not.

And now, Kouhei stood as their leader.

Her leader.

It was shocking. Unexpected. But Yumi didn’t complain. Just as she had once devoted herself to Yuuna, she would devote herself to Kouhei. Because that was who she was. Because that was what she had always done.

Yumi found herself wandering the halls of the mansion at midnight, her bare feet making the faintest sound against the cold floor as she made her way to the bathroom. The silence of the place was heavy, almost eerie, the kind of quiet where every creak of the wooden boards felt exaggerated. Her room, like most of the others, was simple and without its own bathroom. Unlike hers, the master’s bedroom had everything with its own bath and such. That room now belonged to Kouhei, the leader, and it was also where Yuuna and the others stayed with him almost every night.

Of course, Yumi knew what went on behind that door. Anyone would, with the kind of sounds that slipped out no matter how thick the walls were. The gasps, the moans, the muffled cries of pleasure—it was impossible to ignore. Yumi knew. Those noises were proof enough.

That was just the kind of relationship Kouhei had with them. If Yumi had to put it into words, she’d say Kouhei wasn’t just their leader—he was their lover. The girls adored him, gave him their devotion, and in return, they supported him completely. Yumi herself, though, never tried to pry too deeply into it. She didn’t want to. It wasn’t her place, and honestly, it embarrassed her to even think about it.

Despite having lived for many years, much longer than Yuuna, Yumi had no experience in that part of life. She was still untouched. Meaning, she was still a virgin. She knew how it worked, of course. How could she not? With her years of life, she had seen enough, learned enough, to understand the process. But for her, that sort of intimacy was like stepping into forbidden territory. It was something she always avoided and something she kept locked away from herself.

And yet… tonight, she was about to step closer to it than ever before.

The hallway to the bathroom wasn’t kind. To reach it, she had to pass right by the master’s bedroom—the place where Kouhei might be sleeping… or maybe still indulging with the girls. The thought alone made her chest tighten.

Sure, she could just walk past. No one would stop her. But if she ended up hearing Yuuna’s voice, or one of the other girls’ cries of pleasure spilling out in the night, she wasn’t sure she could handle it. It would be mortifying.

But there were times when her body didn’t care about her pride. Like now. Her bladder was screaming, and she was on the verge of bursting. She had no choice but to face it.

Her face burned crimson, her heart pounding faster the closer she came. Each step toward that room felt like walking toward some invisible line she wasn’t supposed to cross. Her fingers trembled slightly as she brushed them against her nightgown, trying to steady herself.

And then… she passed by the door.

However, her eyes caught it immediately.

It was the faint glow spilling through the crack of the doorway. A soft, golden light leaked into the dark hallway, cutting through the shadows.

Yumi froze on the spot, her breath caught in her throat. Her body stiffened, and the sound of her own heartbeat suddenly felt louder than anything else.
