CHAPTER 149: ALLIANCE

After sitting inside both of them remained silent. The small plastic house was a quiet refuge from the world outside.

Then Adam said "Sometimes we should come far away and stay quiet. But I assure you Anastasia now not just him but no one will bother you." Hearing this Anastasia was very curious.

She looked at Adam her eyes searching his for answers.

She said "What have you done? You know that Albero has some relatives in the underworld. Because of which he roams around here and there." Adam smiled.

A small and reassuring smile.

He said "After today he will look everywhere in this world. But he will not look where you are." Hearing this Anastasia became even more curious. But she did not press him for more details. She understood that some things were better left unsaid.

But then Adam moved forward.

He picked up Anastasia’s bag. He said "We have to go from here now. Because your mother and your sister are getting very worried." Then Anastasia and Adam both went out.

Anastasia held Adam’s hand. She said "Don’t tell Sophia and mother about any of this." Hearing this Adam smiled. He said "Don’t worry. Just walk with me." Hearing this Anastasia was a little surprised.

She thought that Adam would definitely tell her sister first. But she realized how little she knew about Adam. He was a mystery.

Anastasia and Adam both left from there. And in a short while both of them were standing outside Sophia’s house. As soon as Sophia saw Adam bringing Anastasia with him she was very worried.

She was running towards both of them. Her face was pale with concern.

Then Adam stopped her. He said "She had just gone for a walk. Why do you worry so much? You put me in worry too." Hearing this Sophia was a little surprised. She looked at Anastasia.

Sophia had never scolded Anastasia. Because she was one of Sophia’s most precious things. After hearing what Adam said Sophia also realized how scared she had been.

Then Sophia looked at Adam. And Adam was trying to calm her down by making a sign with his eyes. A small gesture that only she would understand.

Seeing this Sophia felt a little peace. Sophia might not have looked very foolish. But she knew that there was something that was bothering Anastasia.

And she knew that Anastasia would not tell her or her mother about it so easily. That is why Sophia had finally given up and decided to ask Adam for help. Which was a kind of sign from Adam’s gesture that the problem was completely solved.

Sophia did not say much to Anastasia. She took Anastasia’s bag from Adam’s hand and started to go inside. Seeing that Anastasia and Sophia were going inside

Adam turned around and started to go towards his house. Then Sophia called him from behind. She looked at Anastasia’s bag and gestured for her to go inside.

Which Anastasia understood and went inside. Sophia came to Adam. Adam looked at Sophia. He said "You should be with her." Then Sophia said "Have you solved everything?" Hearing this Adam was a little surprised.

He had promised that he would not tell Sophia about Anastasia’s matter. Then Adam said "You don’t need to worry. I have fixed everything." Hearing this Sophia smiled.

She started to go from there. And while going she said "I know that even if I ask you will not stop. So I will not stop you. But thank you." Saying this she went inside her house without waiting for Adam’s reply. Adam also smiled and came from there.

The scene shifted.

We saw the scene of Adam’s house. As soon as Adam entered the house he saw that there was a fight going on between Samanta and Drake.

It was a serious training session not a real fight. Drake moved forward and picked up a chair and threw it directly at Samanta. Samanta completely turned and dodged that kick.

She moved her hand forward. She grabbed Drake’s leg and spun him and threw him on the ground. A short distance away Cyan and Monica were watching this.

They were observing their technique. Adam was a little surprised to see that those two were not stopping them.

Adam moved forward and made a sound with his mouth. A small cough to announce his presence. So that they would know of Adam’s presence.

But all four of them completely ignored Adam. They were completely focused on their training. Seeing this Adam was very surprised. He thought that in his own house these people were ignoring him.

Then Cyan realized what the situation was. He had been so engrossed in the training that he hadn’t noticed Adam’s return. Then without stopping his companions he moved towards Adam.

He smiled and said "This is actually our daily exercise. It will be new for you." Then Adam understood that they were assassins.

They had to do such things. They had to stay sharp. Otherwise they would be killed.

Then Adam said "So you have decided when we will go to the Empire." After hearing this Cyan became serious. He looked at Adam and said "I will tell you the truth. Because my life is in your hands. And Monica’s too. So I will not lie to you. You will have to wait for now. We will have to go there only when there is a meeting of all six families." Hearing this Adam was a little surprised.

He said "Why is that?" Then Cyan became serious towards Adam.

He said "Because if we reach at that time our chances of survival are very high. Not only this but if even one underworld Royal

Family comes in our support then your chances of destroying that entire family will increase a lot. I am not saying that things will become easy. But the possibilities will increase."

Hearing this Adam was lost in thought. He looked at Cyan and said "Your plan is very good. And when is this meeting that you are talking about?" Hearing this Cyan put his hand on his mouth.

He said "Actually this is the problem. Not many people know about that meeting. It’s a highly secretive event. I also used to know about that meeting only when my mission was to keep an eye around there. I don’t know anything more than that." Hearing this Adam became quiet.

He understood that things were not that easy. For Cyan and for all of them. Adam might have been a little distant from all of them. But still after staying with all of them he had developed some sympathy for these people.

Then Adam looked at Cyan. He said "So what steps have you taken? Because if you suddenly disappear some people will come after you. As you were saying." After hearing this Cyan shook his head.

He said "Initially I thought that we should not leave any evidence behind. But that was not possible. We left too much of a mess."

Then Adam also realized that where he had killed all the rest of their companions there was a lot of time needed to erase the evidence. Which was not possible. Then Cyan said "But we didn’t have much choice. So we had to leave everything as it was."

Then Adam said "I have an idea." Hearing this Cyan was a little surprised. He looked at Adam and said "Idea? What kind of idea?" Then Adam said "Why don’t we declare all of you dead? Inside the underworld." Hearing this

there was no change in Cyan’s expression. Adam was a little surprised to see Cyan’s expression.

He assumed the expression should vary a little bit, but it is nothing new for Adam, and he is perplexed by it.

Then he said "Actually I have already worked on this. And I have spread the news everywhere that the legendary group The Ghost Group is dead. At the hands of some of these underworld families who are currently fighting a war in these cities." Adam also remembered this.

He had heard the rumors himself. He said in surprise "Yes I had also heard that." This meant that Cyan had already planned for this contingency.

He was always one step ahead. Adam was starting to understand why he was the leader of such a feared group. He was not just strong he was also very smart.

And that made him a valuable ally. Or a very dangerous enemy. Adam was still not sure which one he would be in the end.

But he must exploit this man to the fullest extent possible in order to eliminate all of his enemies, and that is the first step Adam must take with him, and he is making progress toward that goal.

Adam understands that his quest will be extremely challenging, and if this man can alleviate some of the difficulties, it will be greatly appreciated.

This is the start of the new Alliance for Adam.
