As soon as school was over Adam and Sophia both left the school together. They walked in a comfortable silence. Adam was very quiet. He had tried a lot to not let his mood get ruined.

But seeing the current conditions Adam could not tell himself that he was calm. He was on edge. Because his mind was repeatedly going to the same place. What was the reason that Philips was suddenly calling Sophia? And that too with the order not to tell Adam.

In a short while Adam and Sophia reached the same place where Philips had called Sophia. The riverbank was quiet and deserted. Sophia looked at Adam. Adam nodded his head at her and went from there. He stood behind some bushes a short distance away. He was hidden but he could see everything.

Sophia moved forward. She looked all around her. But she did not see anyone there. Seeing this Sophia was about to turn back and go towards Adam.

Then a voice came from behind. "Sophia I am here." Sophia heard Philips's words and looked to the other side. Where he was coming from the other side.

Adam also saw Philips. And he was very surprised. Because Philips's condition did not look good at all. It seemed as if Philips had come from a fight. His clothes were torn and dirty. There were stains all over his clothes. Seeing this Adam was very surprised.

Sophia also moved forward very surprised. She went towards Philips and said "Philips what happened to you?" Philips smiled seeing Sophia. A weak and strained smile.

He said "You didn't tell Adam about me right?" Hearing this Sophia was very surprised. She did not think that Philips would ask this as the first question.

But still composing herself Sophia said "No." Hearing this he nodded his head and was happy. He said "Sophia I need your help. Take me with you to your home." Hearing this Sophia was even more surprised. Adam heard this from behind and understood that something was wrong. And he was about to come out from there.

Then Philips suddenly moved forward. He put a gun on Sophia's forehead. The cold metal pressed against her skin. He said "Sophia I will not live for long. But before I die I will take you with me." Adam understood at this time that something was wrong.

He was running towards Sophia. He moved with incredible speed. Philips smiled. He looked at Adam and said "I knew that Sophia could not live without telling you." Saying this he fired his gun.

Sophia was very scared. But she did not even get time to react. As soon as she turned back and looked at Adam Philips fired the gun from the side. Which went straight through Sophia's forehead. Seeing this she immediately fell to the ground.

Adam who was running suddenly stopped. He could not understand what had just happened. He had saved Sophia from everything for a long time. But finally his biggest fear was in front of him today.

Seeing this he looked at Philips. Who was looking at Adam. And he was laughing very loudly. A manic and unhinged laugh. Adam ran towards Philips.

But then Philips turned this gun towards himself. And smiling he fired the gun. Adam was very surprised to see that Philips had shot himself too.

He also fell to the ground. Adam stood in his place. He could not think what had just happened. He had not expected that Philips would do such a thing.

Adam looked at Sophia. Who was lying on the ground. A single red hole in her forehead. Seeing this he clenched his fist. And he went to Philips.

He looked at him and said in anger "What do you think? That you have escaped? No." Saying this he bent down. He picked up his gun. And he put it directly on his forehead.

And he fired the gun. After which darkness spread all around Adam. After a long time the same system window appeared in front of Adam. Which said "Host is dead. Being sent to the recent respawn point." Adam opened his eyes.

And he saw that he was still sitting inside the class. Seeing this he was very surprised. Because he thought that he would go somewhere else. But he did not know that he would respawn so close.

He looked to the side. Where Sophia was still smiling a lot. She was completely unaware of the horror that had just transpired. Seeing this a sense of peace came in his mind.

He was still looking at the class. Then Sophia looked at Adam. And she said "What happened to you?" Hearing this Adam looked at Sophia. He shook his head. And he said "Nothing." Then again school got over. And this time again Sophia was going with Adam to meet Philips. But Adam already knew what was going to happen. As soon as Sophia and Adam reached the river Sophia looked at Adam.

And she said "Will you also come with me?" Hearing this Adam shook his head. He said "Yes I also have to come with you." Hearing this Sophia understood. And they both started to move forward.

Then Adam suddenly started to run. In front. Seeing this Sophia was very surprised. But before she could understand anything Adam jumped a short distance.

And he raised his hand and punched. Which went straight and hit Philips's face. Philips fell backwards from the impact of that punch. The gun in his hand also fell backwards.

Philips fell on the ground. Adam put his foot on his chest and bent down. To hit him more. Philips was in a lot of pain. And he was also very surprised.

Seeing how Adam had found out about him. He looked at his gun behind him. And he tried to move forward. But then Adam stopped him. And he started to hit him with more punches.

While getting punched Philips said shouting "You can't escape. You don't know." But before he could complete his sentence Adam hit him again.

After hitting for a long time Adam let out a deep breath. And he stood up. A short distance away Sophia was watching all this. But she did not stop Adam. Because she knew that whatever Adam did there was always a reason hidden in it.

That is why she did not stop Adam. Moving away from Philips Adam stepped back a little.

He said "Now tell me quickly what happened to you. I thought you would have been killed by the other family by now." Hearing this Philips's eyes widened.

And he pointed a finger at Adam and said "How do you know?" Adam moved forward. He made a fist with his hand and said "I know why you came here." Hearing this Philips got very scared. He started to move back.

He looked at the gun behind him. He picked it up and pointing it at Adam he said "You are a very big fool. If you knew then you should have taken my gun." But Adam stood there. He was not affected at all by Philips's words.

Adam opened his mouth. He said "Why don't you fire this gun first?" Hearing this Philips was a little surprised. He could not understand why Adam was saying this. But still he pointed the direction of the gun towards Sophia.

Seeing this Sophia also got very scared. Who was standing right on Adam's side. As soon as Sophia saw that Philips had pointed the gun at her she was very surprised.

She did not know what was happening. But if Adam was beating Philips then Philips was definitely doing something that could be dangerous for Sophia.

Philips also started to laugh a lot. And he fired the gun. But he was very surprised when he saw that his gun was not working at all after firing. The hammer just clicked on an empty chamber.

Adam looked at Philips. He said "You were saying something." Saying this he started to move forward again. Seeing that his gun was not working at all he looked at the magazine of his gun. Where he did not find that magazine. It was gone. Seeing this he got scared. And he looked at Adam. Seeing Adam coming forward he held out both his hands.

He said "Don't do anything to me. My family..." But he suddenly became quiet. Hearing this Adam also stopped in his tracks. And then Adam understood.

And he smiled and said "I understand. You are being hunted down by your own family." Hearing this all the color drained from Philips's face. Fear was clearly visible on his face. Adam also felt very satisfied. As soon as he found out that Philips's condition was caused by none other than his own family.

Philips immediately looked at Adam with great anger. He said "You don't know anything. You are a two-bit boy who is being chased by the underworld." Seeing this Sophia's attention also went to this statement of Philips.
