I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess
Chapter 379: Brexten’s side?
CHAPTER 379: BREXTEN’S SIDE?
Brexten stepped back and stood under a ball of light. He looked around and stared at the monsters that were illuminated by the light. His face hardened as he watched the monsters climb over their dead.
Brexten gripped his sword, which was dripping in blood, and his shield, which was now scarred with a variety of scratches and dents. Something had gone terribly wrong.
[You have slain a Savage Wretch, Barrel Mole]
After killing one, he looked towards the twins, who were having a hard time of their own, holding back the horde. While a horde of this scale wasn’t overly hard to deal with, Brexten couldn’t help but feel a subtle fear deep within his heart.
[You have slain a Savage Wretch, Barrel Mole]
As time passed—as minutes passed—he felt the ground tremble. Something big was coming.
"Argh...!" Brexten winced as the claws of a Barrel Moles crashed into his gauntlets, knocking his sword out of his hand while simultaneously leaving several deep grooves in his gauntlets.
There definitely was something wrong now.
The moles were getting faster... And stronger too.
Gnashing his teeth, Brexten summoned a stone spear from the ground and retaliated against the mole by piercing through its eye. Blood splashed against his face.
[You have slain a Savage Wretch, Barrel Mole]
The situation was growing dire now.
With a powerful stomp, Brexten summoned a wall of earth around his party and blocked the monsters out for the time being.
He breathed a heavy sigh and wiped his forehead with the back of his hand. This act had depleted him of his mana.
Fortunately, his party had mana potions on hand for this.
Brexten held the mouth of the mana potion to his lips and began to greedily drink its bluish contents. He then tossed back the glass bottle to one of the twins before thinking about their current situation.
"Restore your mana. And use the health potions if you are injured."
The two twins looked at each other, hesitant. One of them eventually spoke up:
"W-we... Ran out of health potions..."
"... Huah...?" Brexten’s eyes widened. How had they already run out of health potions?! "HOW!? Are you two THAT useless to not get hurt!?"
He then pointed scoldingly to the other twin and shouted, "And aren’t you a healer? What were you doing the entire time!?"
The Healer’s eyes trembled as her voice caught in her throat. Her sister hugged her side and shouted back:
"YOU SHOULD’VE BEEN DOING YOUR JOB AS A TANK, THEN!"
"What did you say? ARE YOU TALKING BACK—!?" Brexten took an intimidating step forward before stopping instantly.
He watched as something slowly climbed down above them, like living snakes. It was a thick, metallic wire with the width of a thick rope. But it wasn’t just one, but several others that fell into the small room they were in.
Brexten slowly lifted his head with both confusion and annoyance flickering in his eyes. But then, those emotions immediately disappeared as he came face-to-face with a ceiling of glowing yellow eyes.
Skr...!
His body immediately stiffened in place as the metal wires scraped over his metal armour, causing a high-pitched screech to resound, which sent a chill down his spine.
His body suddenly felt heavier, the air harder to breathe, and his heart was struggling to pump out more blood.
This was the feeling of extreme fear that came from an overpowering Predatory Aura!
He then slowly turned to the twins and found them hugging each other tightly out of fear. Then, with a keen ear, he listened as one of them muttered:
"W-what is that thing...?"
Her words caused the wires stretching from the ceiling to stop in place. They then slowly turned towards the twins’ direction and targeted them.
The wires then bent back and sharpened their tips to a deadly degree that caused a dark premonition to appear within Brexten’s heart.
With an intense expression, he rushed past the wires and rapidly approached the twins while pulling out an item from the pouch tied around the side of his waist.
Wrapping his arms around the two of them, he tossed a dark object to the ground that shattered. A dark mist bubbled out and wrapped around them; however, right before it could completely encase them—
SWIP!
—Blood was drawn.

[You have slain a Savage Maw, Barrel Mole Royal Guard]
After Lillian had successfully triumphed over the monster, she summoned her scythe and hastily made her way over to the eggs.
Lillian clutched the shaft of her scythe and began destroying the eggs one by one.

Once Lillian destroyed 15 of them, she watched as her scythe glowed an iridescent glow. She couldn’t help but laugh and also smile wryly at "cheesing" the requirements.
’Not my fault they didn’t make it specific enough. If I could have done this a much more proper and adrenaline induced way, I would’ve, but I kind of need good weapons...’
Lillian then froze for a split second and held her chin. How about selling a couple of them? She was sure that she could rake in quite a bit of money if she did...
’Hm... Or... I could give one to Millis and another to Marionette...’ If she did it that way, then she could loosen the difficulty during December.
Lillian let out an exasperated sigh and watched as the scythe finally took on a new form. Grabbing it with both hands, Lillian stared down and scrutinised its appearance.
The shaft of the scythe was made of a blackened steel that was both smooth and cold to the touch. Attached to it was a massive, curved obsidian with jagged edges.
Carved into both the shaft and blade was a bright golden rune that glowed faintly with arcane energy but also with a hint of malice.
Lillian then decided to take a look at its enchantments.
