Chapter 213: Naughty
CHAPTER 213: NAUGHTY
After his sales ended, Noah felt genuinely satisfied with his new strategy. He had managed to sell everything while keeping every customer happy, except for a few who had needed iced tea but arrived too late to secure any. Those disappointed customers promised to return tomorrow for another chance.
The streamlined approach had proven far more efficient than his previous method of keeping the shop open continuously throughout the day. Concentrated sales periods allowed him to maximise revenue while freeing up time for training and personal development.
Despite its efficiency, he didn’t plan on doing this every day, especially in new territories where he wanted to build more trust and loyalty with his customers.
Noah checked his updated status with satisfaction at the improvements across multiple metrics.
He had sold all 192 bread loaves and 48 bottles of iced tea during the evening rush, generating substantial revenue and shop points.
The iced tea inventory was now completely depleted except for the institutional reserves needed for tomorrow’s representatives. Princess Elara’s court mages and Valeria’s guild members had established daily purchasing agreements.
This meant Lola’s overnight shift would focus entirely on selling the second batch of 192 bread loaves that would accumulate through continued auto-maker production.

Noah smiled with deep satisfaction.

Examining his iced tea auto-maker progress, Noah noted it wasn’t far from reaching level 5. The advancement would require today’s night shift sales plus another full day of transactions, meaning the upgrade wouldn’t occur while they remained in the human kingdom.
The timing meant the level-up would happen after they relocated to their next destination, wherever the system chose to transport them.
Noah didn’t worry about the delayed progression. His items were guaranteed to sell regardless of location—the quality was exceptional, and the quantity was adequate to meet most market demands.
Even if circumstances placed them in the most challenging environment imaginable, he could always reduce prices drastically to focus purely on advancing his auto-makers and accumulating shop points.
As long as there were people in the location, everything was good.
Money had transitioned from being a desperate need to merely a pleasant want. With nearly two million dollars in assets and daily income exceeding most people’s annual salaries, finance was no longer a concern.
His balanced attributes and mastered skills represented weeks of dedicated effort that had transformed him into someone capable of influencing entire kingdoms through the items of his shop.
Tomorrow would bring their departure from Esta and entry into whatever world the system selected next. But tonight, Noah could rest with the satisfaction of having achieved every goal he’d set for their time in the human kingdom.
...
After the sales finished, Noah found himself in an unusual state of contentment mixed with restlessness. He had reached all his goals for the day, his attributes were perfectly balanced, and his skills had advanced significantly. Yet he wasn’t feeling motivated to practice more—he had already trained extensively throughout the day.
Maybe I’m finally learning the importance of rest between intensive sessions.
His contemplative thoughts were interrupted by the melodious voice of Lola as she descended the stairs, her ruby eyes sparkling with curiosity about his pensive expression.
"What are you thinking about, handsome man, hm?" she asked with her playful smile that somehow managed to brighten his mood.
Turning to face her, Noah felt his earlier conflicted feelings settle into something approaching anticipation. "I was thinking about my new item."
"New item?" Lola’s eyebrows rose with immediate interest, her attention focusing entirely on him. "Already? You just introduced rice cakes recently."
Noah nodded, a smile on his face as he was about to reveal an impressive surprise. "I got another one today. Want to see what it is?"
Lola didn’t wait for his formal invitation; she was already moving toward the shelves with her curiosity thoroughly piqued.
Her eyes scanned the familiar products before landing on the newcomer, and Noah watched with amusement as her expression shifted from interest to shock.
She read the description once, blinked, then read it again more carefully to ensure she hadn’t misunderstood the incredible effects listed.
"This..." she breathed, her voice carrying genuine awe. "Doubled comprehension speed, massive intelligence enhancement, improved immunity to mental attacks... This is undoubtedly the most powerful item available on your shelves."
Indeed. This coffee is in a completely different league.
"This is absolutely insane," she continued, turning toward him with expressions that cycled between amazement and desire. "How many do you have of this? Is it like the rest—you’ll have twelve daily?"
Noah smiled before nodding in confirmation. "Yes, they will be produced at the same rate as other premium items."
"This..."
Lola’s hands actually trembled slightly as she asked. "Do I have the same privilege as always? You know, buying it first?"
Her voice carried expectation mixed with vulnerability from asking for something she desperately wanted but wasn’t certain she deserved.
She really wants this. Noah adopted a thoughtful expression, tapping his chin as if seriously considering alternative options. "Hm... that’s a good question. I was thinking of selling it to the king first. With everything going on in the kingdom, he could use the extra boost to improve further."
Lola’s eyes widened with horror before she walked toward him with the most pitiful expression he’d ever seen grace her beautiful features.
Whilst she could wait for the next one to appear, she wanted the first one. Just like how a kid always wanted the new console when it dropped, she had the same feeling.
Consolidating her realm was proving difficult, and the faster someone consolidated their strength in a new realm, the better their foundation was.
"Please..." she said, pleading with an earnest but teasing expression. "I need this one. You know how I’m trying to consolidate my grandmaster rank, and this would help me immensely."
The mighty succubus is practically begging. This is adorable.Noah felt highly amused watching her, but maintained his serious expression while internally enjoying every moment of her performance.
"Well..." he said slowly, drawing out the suspense deliberately. "I suppose I could make an exception for you.
Hope flared in her ruby eyes like flames catching dry kindling.
"But," Noah continued with a smirk that revealed his true intentions, "there are conditions."
"Anything!" Lola replied immediately, her desperation overriding her usual caution about making open-ended promises. In her mind, Noah wouldn’t ask for anything too excessive; he never did. He wasn’t brave enough to do it; he was always shy around her, except a few times when she pushed him towards it.
Hook, line, and sinker.
"Sure, as long as you say ’I’m a naughty succubus,’ then you can buy it," Noah declared with obvious amusement at his own creativity.
Lola blinked several times, her long eyelashes fluttering, her expression blank as her mind processed the totally unexpected requirement.
