Immortal Starry Sky
Chapter 68 - 65: Secrets of the Cosmos
CHAPTER 68: CHAPTER 65: SECRETS OF THE COSMOS
"Where... is this place?"
When Wang Xu opened his eyes again and saw the scene before him, he found himself in an unfamiliar place.
Wang Xu quickly stood up, realizing that all his injuries had healed without leaving any trace, and his body was filled with power.
"You are awake, Earthling." Suddenly, a gentle voice came.
"Who is it!" Wang Xu was startled and looked around. What caught his eyes was a Central Control Room resembling a Flying Battleship, but it was much larger and the technology of the equipment was completely different from the current human style.
"After waiting tens of thousands of years, I finally found the first qualified inheritor on Earth." A rain of light came from nowhere, drifting past Wang Xu’s head, and then slowly coalesced at the distant captain’s seat, transforming into a graceful man in a white robe.
The man in the white robe exuded a sacred light as he smiled at Wang Xu.
"Are you... the captain of this Warship?" Wang Xu calmed down and suddenly realized the identity of the man in the white robe. He carefully asked.
"That’s right." The man in the white robe said with a smile.
Wang Xu took a deep breath. The man in the white robe was indeed the owner of this gigantic Warship. Did this mean he had lived for tens of thousands of years?
Thinking of this, Wang Xu felt as if a ghost was standing in front of him, not a person.
"My name is Xian Qu, from the Thousandfold Cosmic Country." The man in the white robe continued, "I am already dead. What you are seeing is just a remnant of my thoughts."
"You are already dead?" Wang Xu said in surprise.
"There’s no need to be alarmed. My Life Level has already reached the ’Mixed Universe Realm,’ and I have long been able to spiritualize my consciousness." Xian Qu smiled.
"Mixed Universe Realm?" The more Wang Xu listened, the more confused he became.
Xian Qu smiled and shook his head, then waved his hand, causing the entire Central Control Room to suddenly dim. Following this, bits of starlight emerged, and a vast and beautiful starry sky appeared before Wang Xu.
"What you are seeing now is my Thousandfold Cosmic Country." Xian Qu said, his eyes filled with memories.
Wang Xu was amazed as he carefully observed the starry sky, marveling at the beauty of the stars.
Xian Qu waved his hand again, and the scene of the starry sky changed to another magnificent view.
Stars in various colors draped like clouds, some huge, some tiny, some radiating hot light, some dimly blending into the cosmos. The boundless spectacle captivated Wang Xu.
"This is where your Star Domain is." Xian Qu pointed to a cluster of white mist among the stars, "Your Cosmic Country is known as ’Tai Long.’ The territory governed by Tai Long Cosmic Country is even more extensive than our Thousandfold Cosmic Country, with 18,000 large Star Domains alone, countless small Star Domains, and your Earth in the Galaxy is just a corner of one small Star Domain."
As the scene of the starry sky was continually enlarged, Wang Xu finally saw the beautiful Galaxy, the Sun, and the Earth where he resided.
Wang Xu was overwhelmed with shock.
Earth is part of the Solar System, the Solar System is a part of the Galaxy, and the Galaxy is just a forgotten small place within a small Star Domain. Yet these countless small Star Domains are all part of the "Tai Long Cosmic Country."
Thus, it was clear how insignificant the Galaxy was, how insignificant the Solar System was, and how Earth was even more insignificant.
Wang Xu once believed Earth was unique in the Universe, but Xian Qu’s words completely shattered his perspective.
In reality, within the Universe, Earth wasn’t even comparable to a grain of sand!
"So, does this mean extremely powerful beings exist in the Universe?" Wang Xu’s eyes were still filled with shock as he asked.
"Of course." Xian Qu said, "There are countless beings in the Universe. According to Realm Levels, the lowest class is the Basic Level, divided into nine stages, and you are at the Seventh Rank."
Wang Xu understood that what Xian Qu referred to as the Basic Level represents the nine tiers of the Genetic Warriors, and Tier Seven is equivalent to the Seventh Rank.
"Above the Basic Level is the Star Level. In your Earth’s understanding, it is called ’Innate,’ also known as ’Venerable.’" Xian Qu said, "After the Star Level comes the Void Level, Black Hole Level, White Hole Level, and then reaches my Realm, the Mixed Universe Realm."
"Above the Mixed Universe Realm is the Celestial God Realm, and every Celestial God Realm being wields immense power over a Divine Country. The Tai Long Cosmic Country may be powerful to you and me, but in the eyes of a Celestial God Realm being, it is just a speck of dust, easily destroyed."
Wave after wave of shocks reverberated through Wang Xu’s heart. Wang Xu realized the vastness of the Universe and his own insignificance as if he had been transported to another world.
"I have waited here for tens of thousands of years, only to finally find a qualified Basic Level, which is you." Xian Qu looked at Wang Xu and said.
"Me? A qualified Basic Level?" Wang Xu questioned with confusion.
"That’s correct, a qualified Basic Level must condense their own ’core’ before the Ninth Rank. However, through observing countless individuals at the Basic Level, I discovered that none of them had condensed their core, except you." Xian Qu said, "If one doesn’t condense a core at the Basic Level, no matter how talented or gifted they are, they can only reach the Void Level at best, unable to advance to the Black Hole Level."
Wang Xu was startled; no wonder he had never heard anyone mention the core.
It turns out, it wasn’t intentionally avoided. Rather, no one knew of the core’s existence!
"Senior, with such powerful strength, how did you end up in this state?" Wang Xu asked cautiously.
Mentioning this, Xian Qu’s demeanor changed, his eyes filled with hatred.
"It was my father’s enemy. My father was a Celestial God Realm; he couldn’t shake my father, so he took the desperate measure of killing me to get revenge. I wasn’t his match, and finally relied on the ’Bailan’ to escape for thousands of years before shaking him off. But I was severely injured during the escape and eventually died from my wounds." Xian Qu’s tone was full of unwillingness and hatred.
"I used the remainder of my life to place all the treasures throughout the warship. The person who takes the treasures will unknowingly imprint a vow, and when he reaches the Black Hole Level, he must go to the Thousandfold Cosmic Country and tell my father about me. However, my hopes were always dashed, so I am waiting for someone qualified at the Basic Level; whoever can deliver the message to my father, I will give all my treasures to them." Xian Qu looked at Wang Xu, "Now, only you are left."
Wang Xu’s heart was pounding; he couldn’t determine whether what Xian Qu said was true or false, but just the warship alone was enough to tempt Wang Xu!
This warship belonged to Xian Qu, and if he said he was giving it all to him, the warship was naturally included.
The gigantic warship even had cultivation rooms made of Memory Mercury; just this mass of Memory Mercury would be enough to make Wang Xu a wealthy person known worldwide, let alone the other treasures within the warship!
"Likewise, you need to make a Blood Oath; when you one day reach the Black Hole Level and enter the cosmos, you must tell my father about me." Xian Qu said.
"No problem!" Wang Xu agreed without hesitation.
It’s just delivering a message, not avenging in person, and whether he can become Black Hole Level is still a question.
Then, guided by Xian Qu, Wang Xu drew blood from his forehead and merged it with the oath. When the blood vanished, Wang Xu felt as if there was a pair of eyes staring at him from the sky, extremely eerie.
"Alright, the vow has been fulfilled. I finally have no regrets. I hope you can soon become a Black Hole Level powerhouse."
After Xian Qu finished speaking, his figure broke into fragments of light and scattered in the air.
Wang Xu sighed, holding a red Space Ring in his hand, which Xian Qu left for him. Inside were treasures that Xian Qu had accumulated for tens of millions of years, now all handed over to Wang Xu.
The Space Ring held numerous treasures, but with Wang Xu’s current realm level, he could not open it. He would only be able to access the treasures when he reached the Star Level.
However, this ancient battleship was a gift from Xian Qu’s father to Xian Qu. Xian Qu had imparted all the methods to activate the ancient battleship to Wang Xu, but similarly, Wang Xu’s strength was still insufficient to command this ancient battleship.
The only thing that comforted Wang Xu somewhat was that inside this ancient battleship were Secret Technique Cultivation Rooms, Realm Cultivation Rooms, and a Hunting Ground.
"Celestial Spirit," Wang Xu suddenly called out.
In the Central Control Room, the lights brightened, and a beautiful girl with a sweet smile appeared before Wang Xu.
"Master."
Celestial Spirit was the intelligent system controlling the ancient battleship, now transferred to serve Wang Xu, obeying his every command.
"Take me to the Hunting Ground."
"Yes, Master." Celestial Spirit smiled sweetly, waved her hand, and Wang Xu vanished instantly.
The Hunting Ground was a giant cage existing within a Folding Space, similar to the principle of a Space Ring.
Here, Xian Qu had captured various Star Giant Beasts from the cosmos, ranging from Void Level to Mixed Universe Realm.
"Master, which Star Giant Beast would you like to hunt?" Celestial Spirit asked with a smile.
"Are there any Insect Beasts?" Wang Xu considered for a moment and inquired.
"Yes, Master. The previous owner captured a large number of Insect Beasts, the highest level being Basic Level Seventh Rank."
Wang Xu frowned; the highest was only Tier Seven Insect Beast? The energy is not enough at all.
"Then what’s the lowest level of Star Giant Beast?" Wang Xu asked.
"There is, the Curved Tiger Beast, at the lower Star Level," Celestial Spirit smiled. "Would you like to choose the Curved Tiger Beast?"
Wang Xu quickly shook his head; a Star Level was equivalent to an Innate Venerable, any one of them could crush him with a slap, who could tell who was hunting whom then.
"Forget it, Tier Seven it is. How many Insect Beasts are there?"
"There are 367,800," Celestial Spirit smiled.
"So many! That should be enough for me to advance to Tier Eight." Wang Xu was startled by the vast number, but with such abundant energy, advancing to Tier Eight was absolutely no problem.
"Alright, choose the Tier Seven Insect Beasts!"
As Wang Xu gave the order, Celestial Spirit waved her hand, and Wang Xu’s figure disappeared from where he stood.
