CHAPTER 112: CHAPTER 112: COAXING HIM (PART 2)

The cool and smooth scent seeped into her, sharing the same taste with him.

The sunlight and shadows of the sunset skimmed past, making the surrounding air seem denser and more entangled.

The cigarette butt was extinguished in the crystal ashtray at some unknown point as he kissed her. Su Lingzhi was lifted by him, straddling atop him with parted legs.

A long kiss, growing deeper from shallow.

Her slender, graceful body pressed tightly against him, gradually feeling the changes in his body.

Just when rationality was about to slip away, he released her lips.

The young girl looked at him dazed, with amber eyes misted over, ambiguously reflecting the man’s deep and handsome face.

At this moment, the sound of her heartbeat seemed to drown out all other sounds around.

Su Lingzhi dabbed the moisture from her lips and cradled his face with hands as tender as jade, invading his mouth.

Maybe this way, he wouldn’t think of anything else, and his heart wouldn’t feel so oppressed?

But...

He was like a fish pressed on a chopping board, letting her do as she wished, only holding her tightly without moving an inch.

"Boring."

Those two words conveyed her feelings.

She parted from his lips, intending to get off him.

At her movement, the man let out a muffled grunt, holding her waist firmly, "Can’t you coax me till the end?"

His deep voice fell.

Su Lingzhi met those dark and unclear eyes, asking him, "Do you want to?"

Fu Yinli pressed her down deeper, "Is now a question of whether I want?"

His fingertips teased lightly, and the strap slipped down.

The soft yellow light illuminated her smooth shoulder, as delicate and exquisite as a work of art.

Warm lips pressed onto it, breath roaming over, trailing downward.

As he touched the sensitive area, Su Lingzhi couldn’t help but curl up, feeling as if her heart was about to leap from her chest.

Fu Yinli’s burning gaze met hers, lifting his lips into a light smile, saying in a hoarse voice, "Take responsibility for me, Zhizhi."

... This mischievous nature, how utterly detestable.

Su Lingzhi steeled her nerves, speaking, "Back to the room."

"Right here."

"There’s someone."

Then, she watched as Fu Yinli picked up the phone on the table, making a call to instruct everyone in the villa to avoid the back garden, not to approach.

"..." Su Lingzhi was tongue-tied, looking at him, caught in a dilemma.

After an internal struggle, she braced herself and said, "When you feel comfortable, could you give some response?"

Fu Yinli nodded slightly.

"Protection."

Right after, she saw him retrieve something from the drawer under the coffee table for her.

Su Lingzhi’s expression grew a bit stiff...

A wicker chair bore the weight of the two, swaying from dusk until nightfall.

Fu Yinli looked down at the person exhausted on him, kissing her sweat-soaked forehead. He zipped up and carried her into the bedroom on the second floor, launching a new round of onslaught in the bathroom.

When she woke the next day, his figure was absent beside her on the bed, leaving an emptiness that invoked a sense of desolation.

She propped herself up and instinctively held back the slipping quilt from her bare body.

In the fragmented memory, his uncontrollable voice and expressions occupied her entire mind, as if every glance around the bedroom aligned with scenes and memories.

She didn’t think much more, freshened up, and left the bedroom, just in time to bump into him coming out of the study.

His bearing was dashing, the crisp white shirt tucked into suit pants, looking impeccably neat and refreshed, worlds apart from his frenzied self last night.

"Awake?"

His voice was warmly deep, his gaze upon her gentle enough to drip water, all sadness on him vanished without a trace.

Su Lingzhi studied his clear eyes, speaking, "You seem in a good mood today."

Fu Yinli wrapped his arm around her slender waist, kissing her on the lips, "Isn’t it because you performed well?"

"..." Su Lingzhi was at a loss for words.

After sharing tenderness, she asked him, "Do you have time today?"

Before he could respond, Su Lingzhi cut in, "Can you spare an afternoon to accompany me?"

"Sure."

Without any hesitation, as if agreeing was some kind of indulgence.

Su Lingzhi’s expression softened, going downstairs with him.

After breakfast,

Fu Yinli returned to the study to work, while Su Lingzhi didn’t disturb him.

Feeling bored, as she planned where to take him for relaxation this afternoon, she caught sight of the vast White Cliffs, one of the filming locations for Atonement.

Thus, she sat in the outdoor cinema in the backyard, watching the movie.

As the plot progressed, Su Lingzhi’s mood swayed along with the twists and turns, tears bursting out like a flood.

Housekeeper Zhao noticed her anomaly and approached her with concern.

Seeing the scene in the movie, he immediately understood why she was crying.

He consoled, "It’s just a movie, miss, no need to take it seriously."

Su Lingzhi embarrassedly covered her eyes, telling him, "Uncle Zhao, don’t mind me, I can digest it on my own."

Housekeeper Zhao was left helpless.

Just as he was about to leave, a tall silhouette appeared, walking slowly toward them.

Nodding to the person, Housekeeper Zhao silently exited.

Fu Yinli glanced at the nearby basket of tissues and the shivering back in front of him.

Frowning, he turned off the movie without a word.

When the screen went black, Su Lingzhi paused, looking up with tear-drenched eyes at the perpetrator, "Why did you turn off my movie?"

Her voice was thick with emotion, tears on her lashes shimmering in the daylight, looking so pitiful as if she had been wronged.

"Watching it makes you sad."

Fu Yinli took a tissue, crouching half down to wipe the tears off her face, saying a single word deeply.

"Fool."

Su Lingzhi lunged at him, hugging his neck, silently soaking in his warmth, her emotions slowly calming down.

"Don’t watch this kind of movie again." Fu Yinli gently stroked her back, his tone low but especially firm.

Su Lingzhi slowly released him, calmly saying, "Let’s go to the White Cliffs this afternoon."

In light of her tear-stained face, Fu Yinli’s tone involuntarily softened, eager to comply with her wishes, "Wherever you want, we can go."

Seeing him agree, Su Lingzhi stood up, put on her shoes, and went to pack her things.

Originally intending to take him to the White Cliffs to unwind, after watching a film related to the cliffs, she felt even more inclined to go.

It was just a movie, not supposed to ruin her day. She was simply a bit emotional at the tragic scenes of the protagonists.

Later, after lunch, they set off.

This was her first date with him since returning to England, and today, they went out without any bodyguards following.

It was apparent his security issues were resolved.

After a two-hour drive to Old Harry Rocks, Housekeeper Zhao stopped there, leaving them a private space.
