After that, Jude told him that he had been asleep for about three weeks.

He hadn’t been able to take in proper nutrition and his arms and legs had become thin.

"I was truly scared you would die of weakness like this," Dominic said this with a worn-out, exhausted face.

Also Jude must have contacted Dominic’s parent as they immediately rushed over after they heard about the news.

Louis also came with his wife and their baby.

He was crying like a child and Camilla would wiped his face with a handkerchief.

Their baby was cute and looked just like Camilla.

It’s good for her to be looked like Camilla than Louis.

She was a girl, after all.

And even though everyone had come all the way to visit, Dominic sent them away immediately with just one sentence.

"Shiao Yi will get tired."

As Shiao Yi sat on Dominic’s lap on the long chair in the bedroom, Jude came over with a silver tray in his hands, carrying a letter.

It wasn’t an ordinary letter.

It was one of those very formal, highly important letters.

Jude informed Dominic who was making a sour face.

It seemed clear that Dominic already knew what the letter contained even before opening it.

Jude was saying it out loud for Shiao Yi to hear.

"It is again a formal letter from His Majesty."

"What does it say?"

Shiao Yi asked Jude, just to check.

"Since Lord Dominic returned from Solmaria, he have not gone to the castle even once. Because of that, repeated requests have come from Lord Quintus and His Majesty, but he have ignored every single one of them."

Shiao Yi looked up at Dominic’s face.

Dominic didn’t even meet his eyes, his face was like an expressionless mask.

"So, the mountain on that desk..."

He turned his eyes toward the heavy desk made of old oak.

There were piles of letters and documents stacked all over it, mixed together without order and they even looked a little dusty.

When he looked back at Dominic again, Dominic’s gaze slipped away in a different direction.

"Dominic. I’m already fine. All I need now is food and exercise to recover. Go. Go and give your reports properly. If you don’t, I won’t be able to relax and focus on my recovery, right?"

"...I don’t want to leave you."

He muttered in a small, quiet voice.

"Dominic!!"

"...Fine. I’ll go."

Honestly! Dominic was way too cute!

After sending Dominic out of the house and forcing him to go work at the royal palace, Shiao Yi focused on his recovery.

His injuries had fully healed while he was asleep.

Once the food entered his stomach, his digestive system started working again.

The recovery time had always been his own responsibility.

And then he ran around the lake.

Since the lake was large, it became a long distance marathon.

He slowly increased the running distance little by little while keeping a safe speed to build endurance.

Sometimes he ran into the knight order doing their training and joined them, which was pretty fun.

When he returned home, he sparred with Lambard.

That training also felt good and solid.

At this rate, he thought he could fully return to normal the day after tomorrow.

But then... tonight, for some reason, Dominic had turned into a complete carnivore.

It should be because Lambard have reported his recovery progress to him.
