===========

"Brat, I warned you not to talk about that person. I just don’t want you to bring up a second layer of trouble."

Almus chuckled; he didn’t expect the creature to show fear.

Almus wanted to know who the Demon Sovereign was; he hoped Feinn could explain who he was.

Feinn took a deep breath; he knew he couldn’t escape Almus’s question.

Feinn greatly admired the figure of the Demon Sovereign; he considered him his role model.

Feinn remembered how his friends admired the figure of the Demon Sovereign; he had fallen into the trap of admiration.

"Haha! Just so you know! The Ruler of the Demons is the strongest! He is the owner of all seven floors of the Tartarus! He even subdued the gods to submit to him!"

Almus showed his admiration; it could be seen from how he exuded his enthusiasm.

Almus didn’t expect there to be another powerful being besides his father; he really wanted to know who he was.

"Does that mean he’s strong? Is he much stronger than my father?!"

The creature patted his face. He asked if Almus was a stupid person?

The creature slightly brought his face closer to Almus, and he looked at Almus as if he were very familiar.

"Brat... I’m very curious... Why do you look like him? You can’t be his child, right?"

"His child? What... what do you mean?"

"I mean... is the Demon Sovereign your father? You look a lot like him. Even your traits are the same."

Almus averted his gaze; he wanted to know if that was his father?

Almus slightly scratched his face; he remembered he was half-demon and half-dragon.

Almus put on a stupid face; he pretended not to know that his father was the Demon Sovereign.

"I don’t know! I think the Demon Sovereign is much better than my father!"

The creature was suspicious, but he chose to ignore what was happening.

"It’s up to you. I’m the Angel of Death, you can call me Seer."

Feinn blinked his eyes. He now realized Seer was the Angel of Death himself.

Feinn touched his face; he didn’t expect him to fail in recognizing the figure of the Seer.

"Ah... ha ha ha... it turns out to be the Angel of Death, I thought you were the enemy. I’m sorry..."

Seer shook his head; he didn’t mind Feinn’s actions.

Seer hoped that Almus and Feinn could restrain their intentions; he didn’t want them to enter the second layer.

Seer remembered the changes of each layer of the underworld; it had changed into a different world.

Seer wanted to cry; he remembered the changes in the demon world over hundreds of thousands of years.

Seer thought the demon world had turned into a strange world; he didn’t even know whether it was the underworld or not.

"You have to go back. Your lives are important. I just don’t want you to die. I see you two are not bad..." Seer focused his gaze on Almus and Feinn; he looked at them as if they were the best seeds.

Seer nodded slightly. He hoped Almus and Feinn could help him come with him.

"You two, Lord Death wants to see you. He wants to talk with you."

Almus and Feinn looked at each other. They asked who Lord Death was.

Almus and Feinn initially wanted to resist, but they felt their bodies being dragged by a strange object.

Almus initially tried to resist, but he felt resistance in his power.

Almus gave up; he let Seer take him away with him.

Almus looked forward; he wanted to know who Lord Death was.

Some time passed, and Almus saw him and Feinn stop in a room full of blue torches.

Almus looked into one of the empty rooms. He saw the figure of a man sitting on his throne.

Almus knew the man was weak; his body showed as if he were about to lose his lifespan.

"Good seeds. Welcome to the world of the death. My name is Thanatos, I am the God of Death and the Afterlife."

Almus couldn’t help but feel amazed. This was the first time he saw the figure of a god other than his father.

"You are a god? Does that mean you’re very strong?!"

Thanatos shook his head, admitting he was an ordinary god.

Thanatos remembered he was no different from a weak god; he had now lost part of his lifespan.

"You’re wrong. I’m just an ordinary and weak god; I can’t be said to be strong. My age won’t last any longer... hah..."

Almus didn’t say a word; he didn’t think the gods were weak creatures.

Thanatos smiled slightly. He was happy to see that Almus didn’t question his strength a second time.

"Do you want to become the God of Death? I need an heir to take my place. I hope one of you accepts it." Thanatos looked at Almus. He hoped Almus could accept it.

Almus paid no attention; his eyes were fixed on Feinn.

"What do you think? Are you interested in becoming the next of the God of Death? I have absolutely no desire."

Feinn shook his head; he didn’t care about the throne of the God of Death at all.

Feinn knew he was weak in giving his orders; he wasn’t the strong Almus.

Feinn hopes Almus is the only choice; he knows Almus is talented.

Seer, Feinn, and Thanatos stared at Almus, hoping he would accept the offer.

Almus swallowed his saliva. He thought, were those three people serious about choosing him?

"I... I’m just a 6-year-old kid... how could I be worthy of being the God of Death? I’m not worthy at all."

Thanatos didn’t care; he seemed to be forcing Almus to accept his offer.

Thanatos knew he didn’t have much time; he only had a few years to live.

"You can’t refuse. You are the only one worthy. I just want you to be the next ruler."

Almus gritted his teeth; he didn’t expect Thanatos’ power to be so terrifying.

Almus tried to move his legs, but he found it completely useless.

Several veins were visible on Almus’s head, showing that he was exerting his strength.

Almus looked at Thanatos, his eyes showing a wild look.

"A Dragon...? You are..." Thanatos sharpened his gaze; he didn’t pay attention to Almus’ gaze.

Thanatos knew Almus was a dragon; he would not hold back his power.

Thanos slightly raised his hands forward. Not long after that, Almus’s two legs fell from their place.

Almus gritted his teeth; he tried his best to defend against Thanatos’ attack.

Feinn was confused. He asked what Thanatos’s reason was for forcing Almus to accept him as his heir.

Feinn looked at Seer. He hoped that Seer could tell him what his actions meant.

"Mr. Seer, please stop all that. Almus has rejected it, but you guys are forcing him? Why?"

Seer closed his eyes, and he thought about whether he should tell him what happened.

"Master Thanatos is not in good condition; his soul will dissipate sooner or later. The price of being a God of Death is losing their lifespan. If someone does not take that position as the God of Death, the order in the world will experience its destruction."

Feinn was surprised; he now showed his worry.

Feinn looked back at Almus. He thought, should Almus accept Thanatos’ offer?

Feinn knew Almus would lose his life if he were appointed as the next of the God of Death, but he didn’t want him to die.

Feinn ran towards Almus; he seemed to want to help Almus free himself from his shackles.

Thanatos realized what was happening; he seemed to show a murderous look.

Thanatos pressed both of Feinn’s legs, his body now falling from its place.

Feinn wanted to survive the pain; he was seen trying his best to help Almus.

Feinn slightly stretched out his hand to Almus; he hoped he could survive the pain.

Almus endlessly pushed his body; he really didn’t want to submit to becoming the next God of Death.

Almus vomited blood; he felt several internal organs were injured.

"Damn... father... Where are you? Your son really needs you. Your son will lose his life sooner or later..."

Thanatos tightened his grip; he really wanted to make Almus accept his offer.

Thanatos initially thought Almus couldn’t survive from where he was, but he felt the figure of a man appear.

"Wow... what is this? Since when did I tell you to go to the second layer? Damn brat, you should be grateful this time that your father helped you."

Thanatos looked at the figure of the man in black. He saw that his eyes showed purplish red.

Thanatos widened his eyes; he knew the man was the man he had seen before.

"You... the Demon Sovereign?! How did you come to this place!"

Seer walked backwards; he didn’t want to get into trouble with Noah’s figure.

Seer remembered how strong Noah was; he didn’t want him to get into trouble.

Feinn was shocked. He asked if that was the Demon Lord?

Feinn turned to Noah’s side. He felt the pressure in his body had disappeared.

Almus seemed to have regained his footing; he, without hesitation, ran towards his father’s side.

Noah touched his chin. He saw that the level in Almus’ strength had reached the Divine Stage.

Noah looked down, and he saw Almus hiding behind him.

Noah shook his head; he didn’t want to pay attention to his son’s actions.

"What would happen if your mother found out I almost killed you? I just wanted you to realize how cruel the world is, but instead you violated it."

Almus bowed his head; he knew he was wrong in choosing his path.

Almus hopes his father can forgive him; he remembers the pain of Thanatos’ attack.

"Sigh... Thanatos, you are really targeting my son. I remember you previously asked me to be your heir, but you let me off the hook. Now?"

Thanatos clicked his tongue. He didn’t think Almus was Noah’s son.

Thanatos now knew why Almus and Noah were similar; he could only hold back his fear.
