"The Demon Sovereign... no, I meant His Majesty. Please forgive me! I did this for the world of the death!"
Noah shook his head. He knew what Thanatos’ plan was.
Noah knew Thanatos wanted to find a successor; he could only nod slowly.
Noah looked at Feinn; he thought he was the only one worthy.
Feinn was nervous; he didn’t expect Noah to look at him seriously.
Feinn showed his respect; he didn’t want to disappoint Noah.
Feinn bowed to the ground. He wanted Noah to think of him as a good boy.
"Good boy. Thanatos, you can choose him as your successor. I’m sure he is much more worthy than you think."
Thanatos was deep in thought. He wanted to know whether he should choose Feinn as his successor.
Thanatos shook his head; he didn’t expect he would have to choose Feinn as his successor.
"Very well. Your Majesty, I will choose that child as the successor of the God of Death. From now on, he will live in this underworld."
Noah nodded; he was happy to see Thanatos agree with his words.
Feinn looked very happy; he didn’t expect Noah to trust him so much.
"Thank you, Your Majesty! It is very kind of you to choose me!"
Noah waved his hand; he didn’t forget to give Feinn some gifts as well as resources.
"You are currently weak. I will give you the resources to reach the Emperor Stage. You can take them for free."
Feinn widened his eyes; he didn’t expect Noah to give him top-level resources.
Feinn was happy to see Noah giving him some of his gifts; he accepted them without hesitation.
"Thank you! I am truly grateful for your generosity! I will submit to you once and for all!"
Noah chuckled; he didn’t really care about Feinn’s words.
Noah looked back at his son, and he saw his son showing an angry face.
Noah sighed. He knew his son was angry seeing him give the resources to Feinn.
"Father, what about me? Am I not given a gift?"
Noah clenched his fists; he was angry to see Almus acting so stupidly.
Noah remembered that Almus was strong; he shouldn’t ask him to be given resources.
Noah hit Almus’s head; he hoped he could realize what his mistake was.
"Bad boy! I’ll take you back right now. I’m sure your mother will be very worried about you." Noah took Almus in one of his arms; he, without hesitation, pulled him with him.
Noah remembered that he had been traveling for several months in the human world; he now had to bring Almus back.
Almus tried to survive his father’s pull, but he felt his legs tingling.
"No! Dad! I still have to meet Lea! I want to take her with me!"
Noah stopped in his tracks, showing a slightly surprised expression.
Noah wanted to know who Lea was; he didn’t understand what his son meant.
Feinn didn’t forget to tell his little sister; he hoped that Noah would realize who his little sister was.
"Your Majesty! Lea is my sister! I hope Your Majesty can bring her up with you! Almus really likes her. I’m sure she is a good candidate for your future daughter-in-law."
Noah was lost in thought; he stared slightly at his son’s figure.
Noah wanted to know whether Lea was very valuable to him or not; he hoped it was a dream.
Noah hopes that his son will not fall in love with another woman; he remembers that he is 6 years old.
"Father... please... I want to take her with me into the human world. I hope you can accept this request from your son."
Noah patted his head; he looked as if he could only confirm what happened.
Noah nodded; he knew he couldn’t keep Almus away from his problem.
"Fine, fine! Brat, I just want you to know that the training is the only thing that matters. I hope you understand what I mean."
Almus nodded; he was happy to see that his father could accept his wishes.
Noah brought Almus back to his feet. He hoped he could introduce Lea to him.
"Now, son, you can tell me where the girl is. I will come with you."
Almus smiled slightly. He knew his father couldn’t possibly realize where Lea was.
Noah actually pretended not to realize what was happening; he wanted to see whether his son loved Lea or not.
Noah hoped that Lea wasn’t a bitch, he didn’t want his son to drown in his pain.
After Noah and Almus left, Feinn was seen looking back at Thanatos’s figure.
Thanatos could only ponder what had happened; he didn’t expect he would have to meet Noah a second time.
"Forget it. Feinn, from now on, you’re my next successor. I hope you don’t disappoint me."
...
Noah went around near the demon race village, and he saw several demons bowing their bodies.
Noah didn’t understand what was happening; he saw the villagers being respectful towards his son.
’This boy... he really did a good job. Ha ha ha... I think my previous punishment paid off.’ Noah thought. He was very satisfied seeing his son’s development.
Noah remembered how he was first thrown into the underworld; he didn’t expect he would have to show his strength.
Noah was happy to see that his son was so similar to him; he inherited his leadership spirit.
"We’re here! Father, this is the residence of Lea and her family! They are good people; they are also the people who took care of me for 5 years."
"Heh? They’re really nice. I hope to meet them."
Almus opened the door of the house in front of him; he knew Lea and the others were doing their job.
Almus and Noah walked into the house. They saw a young girl doing her homework.
Almus came over to her; he looked like he wanted to hug her from behind.
Lea moved away from Almus; she knew from the start that Almus had returned from his journey.
"Almus... how long are you going to try to hug me? You’re still a kid."
Almus laughed softly; he didn’t think Lea would notice his presence.
Lea looked at Noah’s figure; she saw that Noah was no different from Almus.
"You..."
"What a great young girl... I am Almus’s father. My name is Noah Asford. Nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you too. My name is Lea, you can call me Eleah."
Noah nodded; he didn’t care about Lea’s last sentence.
Noah checked Lea’s talents; he knew that Lea and Feinn were very different.
’Her talent is the Gold? I now understand how this girl was so favored by the spirits.’ Noah closed his eyes; he didn’t really want to worry about Lea’s problems.
Noah hoped that Lea could master her powers; he knew she was talented in the spirit power.
"Lea, my father and I came to say goodbye. As for your brother, he is now fine. He is the successor of the next God of Death. He will return when the time comes."
Lea was lost in thought. She remembered how she and Almus were together for 4 years.
Lea averted her gaze; she didn’t really understand how she felt her sadness.
"Then just go. I can look after this place too, I don’t need your help... I just..."
Almus touched Lea’s both hands; he hoped she could come with him to the human world.
Lea was initially surprised, and she asked why Almus had touched her hands.
"Lea, please come with me to the human world. I promise to be with you forever."
Lea’s cheeks turned red; she didn’t expect Almus to reveal what was in his heart.
Lea’s hands were shaking; she didn’t understand what Almus was doing.
Lea felt her heart beating fast; she wished she could calm it down.
"But I... what about the villagers? They have to live without anyone to help them. I don’t want them to die."
Almus lost his intention to take Lea with him; he remembered the villagers were weak.
Almus looked at his father; he didn’t think his father would allow him to stay in the underworld.
"Father, I think I do too..." Almus stopped his words; he saw his father showing a sharp gaze.
Almus knew there was no way his father would let him stay in the underworld; he didn’t want Eris to beat him up.
"Sigh... I know. Lea, I will take the villagers and your family to the fourth layer of the Tartarus; my subordinates will guarantee their safety."
Lea was confused; she didn’t understand whether Noah could bring the villagers and their families to the fourth layer.
"Ha ha ha... I seem to have forgotten to introduce myself. I am the Ruler of the Demons, I am also the person you call the Destruction himself."
Lea couldn’t contain her surprise; she seemed to show her disbelief.
Lea tried to survive her fear. She asked whether Noah was the Ruler of the Demons?
Lea remembered the legend of the Ruler of the Demons, who was the sole bringer of destruction in the Tartarus.
"You... you are... So Almus... you are also..."
Almus nodded. He didn’t expect his father to be the Demon Sovereign.
Almus initially thought his father was a god in general, but he turned out to be the Ruler of the Demons.
Almus scratched his cheek. He hoped she could give him the answer.
"So what? Will you accept my offer?"
Lea nodded; she now knew Noah was the ruler of the Tartarus.
Lea bowed her body; she hoped that Noah could protect the villagers and her family.
"I understand! I will accept your offer!"
Noah nodded in satisfaction; he was happy to see that Lea understood what he meant quickly.
Noah snapped his finger; not long after that, the village area moved to the side of the fourth layer of the Tartarus.
"Done. Now, are you going to leave? I don’t have time to wait for you to stay."
Lea stood up from the floor; she wanted to know whether what Noah said was true or not.
Lea looked out the window, and she saw several large buildings stretching out in front of her.
"Ah... This really is the fourth layer of the Tartarus... this is real..."
Lea fell from her place; she didn’t expect what Noah said to be true.
