Infinite Ebullience
Chapter 1751: 66 Beastman Urban
Chapter 1751: Chapter 66 Beastman Urban
“Don’t say it out loud, be careful of eavesdroppers,” Dong Zixuan quickly reminded.
“Tch, do you think Uncle Dantai is an idiot?” Lu Fan rolled his eyes; the policewoman’s words were purely pointless, no one has been born who could extract secrets from him.
“Let’s wait to enter the game and see.” The Special Agent wrote on the virtual screen popped up by the Wristwatch, then sent the email to his companions.
“The game starts in three hours, if any team wants to enter early, please contact me.”
The Trojan finished the explanation task and prepared to silence, but was stopped by Yan Chiyang.
“Wait, we want to enter the game.”
Nuclear Flame’s words directly changed everyone’s expressions, showing anxious expressions.
“Group Leader, don’t be hasty, we should take advantage of the rest time to deliberate on the next action plan.” The deputy leader was startled and hurriedly stopped the group leader.
Usually, the group members did not dare to defy him, but at this moment, life and death were at stake, so they urged him despite everything.
“Stop the nonsense, with me here, nothing will happen to you, entering early is an advantage.” Yan Chiyang was purely making excuses, he didn’t care about the lives of his subordinates, these people’s combat power was average, merely Cannon Fodder.
After being belittled, Yan Chiyang eagerly wanted to save face, looking at those clueless expressions, a rush of pleasure rose in his heart.
The deputy leader wanted to persuade further but got slapped hard.
“Shut up, didn’t you hear what I said?” Nuclear Flame’s tone was strict and stubborn, “Trojan, do as I said.”
“Teleportation begins.” The cold mechanical voice resounded throughout the Lobby, the Superpower ESP team transformed into white light and disappeared.
The group leader had absolute power, so even if the group members disagreed, the Trojan wouldn’t change.
The Conquerors whispered among themselves, and subsequently, several uninjured teams chose to enter the game immediately, since being familiar with the environment earlier might give them an edge.
“What should we do?” Jiang Xiuming looked at Tang Zheng, “Make a decision?”
“Didn’t the Trojan say this time everyone would surely enter the same game scene?” Dantai took out a bag of Milk to supplement nutrition.
“Wasn’t it said to be Beastman Urban?” Xu Biyun retorted.
“If it’s a world dominated by Beasts, then it might not be just one Urban, right?” Dantai examined everyone, “But for Insurance, I see everyone has no injuries, so we can enter.”
Actually, Dantai didn’t want to make this decision, no physical wounds, but mentally, after the third battle, fatigue would ensue.
“Let’s enter, but be careful, if not teleported together, members below Hero Level should focus on self-protection, if there’s no compulsory mission requirement, conceal yourselves and wait for us to rescue.” Tang Zheng instructed everyone, then let the Trojan initiate teleportation.
“Be careful, everyone.”
Everyone admonished each other, disappearing in the Lobby.
Fang Zhiwen squeezed beside Tang Zheng, grabbing his Arm, hoping to stay together after teleportation.
More teams left, causing those with injured members to become restless, entering as well, which meant they were already falling behind.
In some Trojan Rooms unknown to these Conquerors, survivors sat watching everything they went through on the screen.
“Looks like Tang Zheng is doing well, along with those two base women, Qin Yan and Li Xinlan.” A man moved his neck and spat, feeling the surge of power in his body, like a Ferocious Beast waiting for a hunt, baring his Teeth.
“Even an idiot like Bai Guo can make it this far, it defies reason.” Several women’s eyes brimmed red, “Turns out they can revive after death, these selfish ones never treated us as teammates!”
“Hmph, they’re doomed.”
More than forty people in the room all stared at the screen, seeing familiar figures.
“Gu Xueqi is still alive? Haha, I can get revenge again.” A high school student laughed heartily, stood up, “Trojan, hurry and teleport, I can’t wait to kill her.”
“Due to the game rules, we will be assigned to our respective areas, unable to act together, so I hope when you take action, conceal your identity,” the Asian Prime Minister’s voice was icy, turning towards the high school student.
“Are you worried we’ll expose your identity after dying at Tang Zheng’s hands? Hmph, I’ll tell you, that’s impossible, with a calculated move against an unprepared one, they’re doomed.” A mature woman snorted coldly, a snake coiling in her heart, gnawing incessantly, she had too many questions to confront Tang Zheng with, “If there are no other requests, I want to enter the game.”
“You seem quite dissatisfied with me?” The young man’s brow furrowed, capable of pinching a crab to death.
“You’re just a fake, stop acting all high and mighty.” Someone spoke bluntly, but alas, the next second, a White Dwarf Star appeared above the young man’s head, Gravity Abyss Radiation.
Boom, everyone felt immense pressure, bodies pressed to the ground, hurriedly releasing Ability to resist.
“Hmph, you can’t even withstand my attack, how can you kill Tang Zheng? Truly boastful.” The young man smashed a fist onto the Table, body leaning forward, his icy gaze sweeping over these people, “This is my Team, I must remain loyal to my Conquerors, otherwise, even if you get qualified, I’ll eliminate you.”
No one spoke, but the dissatisfied expressions were enough to show their attitudes.
“Trojan, teleport!” The young man couldn’t be bothered with these guys; as long as half of them were dead, they’d obediently comply.
A flash of white light, and the group disappeared from the Trojan Room. The previous screen image had thoroughly ignited their hatred for the Warhammer Team.
Before his vision could recover, Tang Zheng heard a miserable howl, which was soon buried under laughter and mockery.
The light was dim, and Tang Zheng looked around, confirming he was in a subway station, then turned his gaze to the site of the violence.
Six Beastmen were surrounding a man, punching and kicking him, with blood flowing all over the ground, looking extremely fierce.
On the platform, quite a few Beastmen waiting for the subway watched the spectacle, laughing and even taking out their mobile phones to record and upload it online.
Some humans, deemed fifth-class citizens, hid in the corners, keeping their heads down, not daring to glance, fearing they’d invite trouble.
The unfortunate soul’s body was bleeding profusely, his breath weakening, but no one showed any intention of calling for help, evidently accustomed to the violence.
Tang Zheng did not intervene but kept his head down, observing the Beastmen through the corner of his eyes.
Unlike the Green-skinned Beasts in the Ownerless Land game, these creatures hadn’t fully evolved, retaining some Wild Beast features despite their human forms.
Tang Zheng saw a Foxwoman with not only beautiful ears but also a furry big tail, while the Beastmen beating humans were uniformly Minotaurs — tall and robust with horns.
“I’m a fourth-class citizen; I have identification. You can’t harm me arbitrarily.” The unlucky man wailed, but it was to no avail, only inviting harsher beatings.
“Even if you get a first-class citizen ID, you’re still human, still base people.” The Beastman stomped on the man’s head fiercely, then undid his pants, urinating all over him before casually leaving.
“What the hell kind of society is this?” Tang Zheng couldn’t help but curse; just witnessing this made him feel incredibly oppressed.
The subway arrived, and after the Beastmen boarded, the humans followed, retreating quickly to the designated corner positions.
Even if there were empty seats, they were not allowed to sit.
Six Beastmen youths whistled, searching for their next target. They were thorough racists, believing humans should be slaves and had no right to walk the main street, polluting the air.
Tang Zheng was targeted as he was about to leave.
“Hey, base people, stop.”
The Beastmen dragged their baseball bats along the ground, creating a piercing noise.
“What’s up with your clothes? Don’t you know humans are forbidden from wearing leather?” The Beastman shouted, glaring at Tang Zheng’s tight leather clothes, with a hostile expression.
Tang Zheng didn’t expect a spare set of protective clothing to cause trouble. He was about to leave quietly but changed his mind with a glance at the bleeding body struggling in the blood.
“Base people, I’m talking to you, answer!” The Beastman swung the baseball bat, striking at Tang Zheng’s skull.
With a snap, Tang Zheng extended his left arm, firmly grabbing the baseball bat.
“Hmm? You dare fight back, thinking you’ll sit in jail for life?” The Beastman roared, kicking at Tang Zheng’s belly.
Tang Zheng was quicker than the Beastman, his right foot stomping on the man’s knee, snapping it with a crunch.
Not waiting for the Beastman to fall, Tang Zheng turned forcefully, spinning the baseball bat like a top and prying it from his grip.
With a stretch of his right arm, Tang Zheng grabbed the baseball handle, swinging it smoothly to bash the Beastman’s skull.
Bang! Blood splattered as the Beastman’s head cracked, his cheek deformed completely.
The Beastmen were stunned, not expecting Tang Zheng to strike ruthlessly; fear crept onto their faces. They merely bullied ‘base people’, knowing that once humans raged, they too were afraid.
“Quick, call the policeman.”
Before one could finish shouting, a baseball bat flew, shattering his jaw, the force so great that it tore his cheeks.
The Beastmen turned to flee, but too slow. Tang Zheng struck from behind, smashing their heads, pounding each down to the ground.
Clang! Tossing aside the bent baseball bat, Tang Zheng walked calmly toward the stairs. As a Hero Level Four Order, he possessed a city’s combat power. Such absolute strength let him ignore extracting intelligence by compromising.
“Anyone who dares obstruct me, crush them all.” Tang Zheng stepped onto the road surface, watching the sun that was about to set on the horizon.
The orange light radiation seemed tinged with a hint of blood.
The passing Beastmen laughed softly, while humans kept their heads down, footsteps hurried, not wanting to linger even a second longer in public.
Tang Zheng checked his wristwatch, finding no mission information, hesitating about where to first settle down and gather specific information on Beastman Urban. A police car stopped by the roadside, blocking his path. (To be continued.
