On any previous month for at least the last six months, the harvest of the Element Farms was merely a daily check-in plus a little bonus.

William's most commonly used Elements at the time were Fire, Illusion, and Space, with occasional usage from about a dozen others. Until recently, he only had enough Farm Slots to grow these types of Elemental Fruits.

Elements such as Darkness, Poison, and even Time were purely supplemental as opponents rarely required him to use Magic at full strength. It was a sort of "one size fits all" strategy.

If one fireball wasn't enough, just use two!

William knew he wasn't using his Magic to its full capacity. Only a thousandth, or a hundred thousandth of a percent was more accurate. But to conceal his strength more effectively, he rarely made use of the Mythic Elements Order, Fate, or Karma.

The Ascended Realms were vastly different, though. Sooner or later William would be severely punished if he ran into a true expert during his travels.

Many Cultivators here are thousands of years old, easily. They've had plenty of time to develop their Magic Affinity and understanding of the Elements. Filem Academy alone has classes for improving Mana Circuits; a method completely unknown to those in the Mortal Realms!

If William is going to stay ahead of his peers and catch up to the older generations, improving his other Magic is key!

William stared at a batch of twenty-five glistening Fire Element Fruits that were more than half a size larger than the normal-sized Fruits. Artificial sunlight reflected off their red apple-like skin, delectable enough to make anyone drool.

These were Greater Element Fruits, and if they were to appear in the real world, both the Slightwing and Riverveil major families would fight tooth-and-nail just to have a taste.

Of course, Element Fruits cannot be taken out of this space, which was probably a good thing.

As William's first Element, he felt that Fire deserved to be the first to get a taste of the Greater Element Fruits. His Comprehension of the Fire Element's Primary Law had reached one hundred percent long ago, and he was eager to see a glimpse of what came after.

Wary of the digestion time, William took a small nibble and allowed the Greater Element Fruit to take effect. Separate from the pain of upgrading his Fire Affinity, consuming Element Fruits was a painless procedure.

The rush of euphoria from a Greater Fruit exceeded William's expectations, as a divine mixture of savory sweetness overwhelmed his five senses. His legs started to shake wildly, forcing him to sit down with Fruit in hand.

The pleasurable sensation gradually faded over thirty seconds, and William's mind was filled with new ideas for the Fire Element. Not only did the Primary Law of Fire feel easier to grasp, but he also sensed a hint of something more powerful.

As quickly as it had appeared, the vague feeling drifted away, even making William feel somewhat forgetful. Surprisingly enough, the digestion period had shortened since last month.

Was it due to the Ascended Realms? He looked at the System Panel.

-Consumed a partial Greater Element Fruit. Updating Comprehension panels...

-Fire Elemental Comprehension (Secondary Law): 0.0013%

-Detected Element Farms out of growth sync. Would you like to accelerate their growth for 30 Ascended Points?

Being able to sync up the Element Farms that were planted late made William pleasantly surprised, since there were still a few weeks left before they were ready. He hastily accepted the offer, trading in thirty Ascended Points without blinking an eye.

Regarding the miniscule percentage gained from digesting the Greater Element Fruit, William wasn't disappointed at all. Judging by the size of bite William took compared to the full scale of the Greater Element Fruit, he should gain 0.1% Comprehension after digesting the entire thing.

He was relieved that the boost was the same as the normal Element Fruits, otherwise William would need several decades to reach one hundred percent.

Unfortunately, the current rate of twenty-five Greater Fruits per month would still take some time. At 2.5 percent Comprehension per month, William's Fire Element would be complete in two years.

I'll just have to upgrade my Farms some more. For now, this is fine. He thought to himself before proceeding to consume the rest of the Greater Fire Element Fruit.

In addition to the Greater Element Fruits, William didn't forget about the Elements that hadn't yet reached full Comprehension of the Primary Law.

Each of the normal Element Fruits only took a few seconds to consume, a night and day difference compared to when he was in the Mortal Realms.

This batch of Element Fruits was enough to max out Comprehension for the Time and Illusion Affinities, while the Affinity for Chaos was now 87.6%.

As for the new Farms for the Earth, Blood, Sound, Blessing, Curse, Poison, Dream, and Karma Elements, they equally reached 17.6%.

Fate, being the only Element that William had naturally gained a whole eight percent Comprehension for, was now at 25.6 percent.

Since only fully comprehended Elements could receive benefits from the Greater Element Fruits, William started to consume what he could and stored the rest of the Greater Fruits for later.

As a form of preference, he ate one Fruit of each Element before continuing to the second Fruit.

Greater Element Fruits of varying Affinity were absorbed into William's body one after the other, the myriad energies making him feel as if he were going to burst. If not for his Talent improving the durability of everything including his stomach, William truly might have exploded.

With each Fruit, William sensed a thick glass-like barrier around the edges of his Elements. This was completely different from Comprehension of the Primary Laws, resembling a cage that wrapped around each source of Elemental Mana.

When Comprehension reached one percent, distinct differences appeared.

For the Fire Element, the barrier was an upturned glass placed over a candle. The candle flickered weakly under the glass, deprived of oxygen save for a subtle crack near the base of the glass. For every percent of Comprehension, the crack widened by a hair's width.

A door of unfathomable heights blocked the path to the Seal Element, which could only appear as a thin wisp of grey fog leaking under its base. A padlock above the door handle slowly unlatched with each percentage of Comprehension.

Trapped inside a spinning vortex was the Space Element. No matter how hard it fought, it was forced to travel in circles for an endless distance. As Comprehension increased, the Space Element's range of influence followed suit.

A single portal sent the Time Element to its most recent past, merely a millisecond prior. Each instance that it passed through the portal, its previous self appeared and closed its loop of existence.

Upon reaching one percent, a second portal appeared. As the Time Element passed through the first portal, a second Time Element appeared from the other and moved in reverse. William didn't understand at all, but he continued consuming Fruits until a third portal appeared.

Most confusingly, even after reaching two and a half percent Comprehension of the Illusion Element, nothing appeared. Not a trace of Illusion Magic could be sensed.
