Chapter 44: Two Choices
Chapter 44: Two ChoicesJayden arrived at Lightboard around 9 AM the next morning. He had rented the entire building, so it was going to look like he owned it for the next seven days.
He had to show the security his e-ticket before entering and then stated that he was expecting someone.
Of course, Camilia would be the first lady to arrive, and she would be spending just two days, as she had said.
Jayden would have loved for her to stay longer to spend more time with her, but unfortunately, being the busy young lady she was, it was almost impossible for her to stay any longer.
She had even clearly stated that she’d be going on a business trip a day after her two-day stay here.
He waited for more than an hour before Camilia arrived, but thanks to that, he had gotten some things set.
A female security officer led her into the building as she entered the large, luxurious living room with marble floors and gold-furnished chairs.
Jayden swiftly walked up to her.
"Welcome, princess," he said as they hugged.
"Princess, huh? Tch. Seems like being a princess is the worst title a girl could ever get," Camilia indirectly told him to scratch that.
Jayden only smiled, then led her to the couch.
"Nice place. Now I see why the hype about Lightboard is so intense," Camilia stated, glancing around.
"Sure, it really is," Jayden replied and went ahead to bring a bottle of wine from the wine rack with two glasses.
He half-filled the first and handed it over to her.
"Thanks," Camilia said and took a sip. Sear?h the N?velFire(.)net website on Google to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.
Then he half-filled the second and took a sip as well. They smiled at each other and then settled into the living room to talk.
Jayden had something in mind in the first place, and now he wouldn’t mind asking her.
When Camilia had settled close to him on the same couch, he figured it was the best time.
"Mind telling me why your father asked you to come home for the Prince of Nortasia?" Jayden asked, his face bright like he just wanted a chat.
Camilia froze for a moment before nodding. She was hesitant, but she still had the urge to reveal it to him.
"Well, my father wants me to marry Prince Kael," Camilia said, her eyes fixed on Jayden to detect his reaction.
But as the smart guy he was, he didn’t react like someone who felt bad about it. It was something Camilia didn’t like, but he never showed her his feelings.
"Whoa, that’s a big deal," Jayden commented.
"Big and crazy, yeah," Camilia said with a blank look and took another sip.
"So, why are you against it? No offense, but I mean, who wouldn’t want to marry the Prince of Nortasia? Son of the king and heir to the Golden Throne. That’s a massive move," Jayden smiled at her, not trying to be offensive.
Camilia shrugged after taking one more sip.
"There are a lot of ladies who are dying to marry the Prince, but I’m not one of them," she stated, no trace of hesitation in her tone.
She was for real, and Jayden felt it.
"Wow, that’s nice and... remarkable," Jayden acknowledged, his face still bright.
"But my father is the problem here. He claims to be the one to decide my life, saying that marrying Prince Kael is for the greater good. But I can’t find any good thing in it apart from moving from caged daughter to prisoner wife," her face suddenly turned dark as she said that, making Jayden feel her pain.
"Heyy, you have a choice. Don’t let the pressure keep you down," he said.
"One choice would maintain my status, the other would destroy it. My father has promised to disown me if I refuse to marry Prince Kael," she said.
Before Jayden knew it, the sound of sobs rose from her side, and he quickly rushed to her.
"Heyyy, come on. It’s okay. You’ll definitely get out of this mess," Jayden tried consoling her.
"How? It’s just two choices. Marry the Prince or get sent out... I don’t want either of the choices," she said, the sobs continuing.
"Look, Cammy... Look," he raised her head to look at him. "There is always a way out. A way that would favor your decisions. You just have to get yourself together. I’ll be by your side. Trust me," he said.
Well, that was a nice speech of comfort he just gave there. And he had just indirectly told that to himself as well—for his father’s revenge.
Camilia stared at his charming face and nodded, the look on her face suddenly changing.
Within seconds, she suddenly threw herself at him and kissed him on the lips, at least for a few seconds.
Jayden’s eyes turned sharp... He hadn’t expected the first one, but the second...
He totally embraced it.
His lips met hers in a rush, kissing tight and hard as Jayden held her by the waist.
The date the other day hadn’t gone well due to the sudden summon from her father, but today was going to be totally different.
Camilia had left home without notifying her father or even bringing her bodyguards.
Phone switched off.
It was the best time to enjoy the beautiful princess of the Frost Family, and Jayden wasn’t daring to waste it.
Camilia herself had wanted him for a long while, and now she was finally getting the opportunity.
They both went on with the sweet kissing session for longer than expected, but Jayden was definitely doing more than just that.
Grabbing and rubbing her butt from behind, he felt like he was already lost in the world of lust.
Camilia actually didn’t waste time either, as she took care of pulling down his trousers before stroking the large dragon that popped out at once.
One wouldn’t have expected the show to happen so quickly, and yet, it did.
There was a special sensation that ran through their veins the whole time, enjoying the pleasures that come with sweet touching.
And in no time, Jayden grabbed and carried her away from the couch, leading her to the bedroom with the pace of someone in a marathon.
