CHAPTER 115: ATTACK PLAN

Charlotte had to interrupt their conversation, and they were buying her news for sure. That was the main thing that had kept them from making their move on the king, and now that things had gotten better, it was surely clear that they wouldn’t have to waste any more time to prevent other attacks on Jayden.

Even now, the ladies weren’t safe, because the king would surely want to deal with them for rejecting his alliance proposal.

King Arthur believes that no one can fool him and go free, so he must strike at them, especially when The Dominus is the one sponsoring the Democratic Freedom movement.

The Shadow Mask was what she had created this time, not the former glasses that could only last for minutes.

"It took me more than twenty-four hours to get this done, but in the end, it’s worth it, right?"

Charlotte looked at Jayden in particular, who was also giving her a bright stare.

He nodded. "Incredible."

Charlotte blushed as she laughed softly and then put the mask on.

Immediately, she vanished at that spot, without anyone seeing a trace of her body.

To tease them off and farm aura, she spoke. "We won’t have to put on the other mask while wearing this. There would be no need for that, since you would be completely invisible with this."

Harper gave a wry smile as he gazed at Camilia. Camilia was actually staring back with a smile in return.

Well, they both had been getting along really well since the rescue mission on Jayden, so it was nothing suspicious.

"That would be great. The fact that it can last an hour makes it clear that we can carry out the operations in the palace without being caught," Camilia said.

Jayden nodded. "Right. We are good to go now... But..."

They all glared at him at once.

Jayden noticed the hot glances and had to shrug.

"The question is, who would go?" he asked, glancing at them one by one.

There was a moment of silence for a while, and then, as he had expected—

"I’m in..."

Camilia, with her blonde hair fluttering across her neck, stepped forward.

"I’m in too."

Harper then stepped forward as well.

Sure, she was the leader of the defense team, and it would be almost ridiculous if she wasn’t joining.

However...

"I’m also in."

"Right after you."

"I’m not missing out."

"Me too."

The other ladies turned out to be interested in joining as well, but this was when Jayden had to act.

"No way. You all can’t come with us."

Jayden understood that they all loved him a lot, and as a matter of fact, this was when their affections were triggered the most.

The point of need... when they really needed to prove their love.

But taking all of them was more like risking everything, and it would be foolish to do so.

"Did you just say ’us’?" Temi then asked.

"Yes?" Jayden nodded.

"What? You are The Dominus... You can’t risk your identity now. You should let us do the job, just like always," Becky said.

"Not as if you are going, Becky," Jayden gave her a straight look and said.

"What? I’m not?" She furrowed her brows.

"Nope. You, Temi, and Charlotte are staying," Jayden added with a casual tone.

Charlotte didn’t flinch. She actually knew she would have to stay because there was a lot of work to do from here.

It turned out that only Becky was having an issue with that order, but she clearly wouldn’t refuse.

It was clear in the end... Camilia, Harper, and Paula.

They would lead the team that would attack the palace.

That was going to be big work, and they knew it.

But with the Shadow Mask, wasn’t it a little bit hopeful?

Now that the selection was done, they had to make a plan before moving on.

Harper was officially going to be leading them, as she was the boss when it came to things like this.

She loved it, no doubt... but in the end, she was just doing this for the love of her life.

Jayden had to think about killing King Arthur or not.

He was confused about having to figure out a way to stop the stubborn king completely. However, it was seemingly clear that only death could stop him from remaining King of Nortasia, because he had said it himself that he would never step down.

And that was when the big issue came.

If he’s killed, there would surely be a war, and the armed forces would have no other choice but to put the accusations on the neighboring country Rusnia, who had been Nortasia’s enemy for decades.

That would cause a World War, surely, and Jayden didn’t want that.

So now, he would have to make sure what he’s doing isn’t affecting the other posts in the country.

That way, there could be a slight change of plan.

Later on, Jayden had to inform Camilia that she wouldn’t be joining the team attacking the palace.

"You have a job on your own standards," he said.

A Rolls Royce heavily guarded by security cars and bikes arrived at the headquarters of Kingsley Group.

Gregory Kingsley was already informed about it, and he already waited patiently at the entrance with all his staff standing alongside him to welcome who they had always seen as the First Lady of The Dominus, even though it wasn’t officially said.

"Welcome, Lady Frostline. We have been patiently waiting for your arrival," Gregory greeted.

"That’s great to hear. Thanks," Camilia smiled at him and then turned next to Royce, who she winked at.

Royce noticed it, as he could see her eyes, so he smiled at her, thinking she was giving him a green light.

Maybe he should shoot his shot, right?

He began to contemplate...

’I could just eat her once or twice and the hiding Dominus wouldn’t even know,’ he thought.

When Camilia settled in the office with Gregory, she went straight to the point.

"The Dominus must inform you that he’s a direct candidate contesting for President of Nortasia," she said.

Gregory furrowed his brows in confusion at first.

"I... I don’t get you, Lady Frostline. We are under Royalty Rule in Nortasia."

"He’s with the Freedom Party," Camilia responded.

"Ohh..."

"In fact, he has succeeded in winning the trust of the top figures in the party and would surely be a better king if they overcome the current one, because there’s no other person challenging him," Camilia added.

"I see," Gregory nodded, his face bright.

"So that means, you would be the closest ally to the president... Do you know what that means?" Camilia asked.

Gregory’s eyes widened at once. He definitely knew where she was going.

"Yes... You know what I’m talking about. The Dominus..."

She paused for a second and continued. "Would make you Vice President."

At that point, Gregory just couldn’t hold the shock, as he suddenly stood up, eyes and mouth agape.

But Camilia wasn’t done. She had one line left.

"That means, you wouldn’t have to keep paying your Ministers and Judge allies to help in different controversies. You are going to be on top of everyone."

Camilia gave a wry smile behind the mask...
