CHAPTER 119: HE’S ALIVE!

While everyone had completely believed that Jayden was dead, his ladies were completely hopeful that he would show up after Charlotte told them about the nose oxygen mask she gave him before he left for Cloudbridge City that same day.

They were hoping he had kept it close, because that oxygen mask would be the only thing that could save him from getting killed, as they knew very well that Jayden knew how to swim, despite the harsh condition of the Black Lagoon.

It would only take him a long time before he could swim to land, but thanks to Charlotte’s assurance... She had stated that the oxygen would last for six hours.

When it was dark, they all waited for Jayden to arrive, settling at the underground door where he usually showed up from.

The range of his arrival was from 7 to 8 pm every time he was away, and even before that time, they all had been waiting.

It was 7 pm in no time, but there was no sign of Jayden.

7:30 — still no sight of him.

8 pm came in a blur, and they just couldn’t help the fear...

It felt like her heart was racing, and the same feeling applied to the other ladies, even Charlotte, who had made the promise.

Charlotte gave Harper a glance and asked, "You were saying?"

They all threw themselves at Jayden, giving him a tight, strong hug that he could trip from at once, but the ladies were making sure that wasn’t happening.

"Oh my... I thought you were—"

"Shhhh," Jayden suddenly interrupted Camilia and gave her a kiss. "I’m not dying. No chance," he added.

He then glanced at Charlotte, who was definitely behind his survival.

With a pull, he launched a deep kiss on her lips, and then did the same for the rest of the ladies, including Harper, whom he hadn’t officially acknowledged for saving him the first time.

"We have been so hungry for you... Please come, my love," Temi said with a wink, as the other ladies laughed softly.

He was pulled to the room of action, and in no time, he was down to complete one of the crucial duties of a man.

The Dominus and The Core went straight back to work the next day, and now Jayden already had a good plan to get the job done.

"King Arthur has attempted to take my life more than once. I won’t mind taking his... But first, we will have to persuade the members of the council to turn against him."

"I have researched and recorded everything I need. That’s why I arrived later than usual. So, we are going to use the king’s mistreatment of the council members against him. They are all politicians. If you can promise them more and offer to give them significant posts after my win, nothing will stop them from betraying the king."

"And if they do, the Kingmaker will announce me as the new king, and from there, I will switch to democracy. Simple," Jayden spoke.

The ladies gave a nod, amazed by the smart plan.

The king surely deserved every bad thing he would receive at this point.

Harper nodded.

"Got it," Harper stared at Charlotte and smiled.

Charlotte gave a wry smile back too.

"Charlotte, I will need you to try tracking all Gregory Kingsley’s executive accounts. Don’t hack them yet, just take control over them. When the right time comes, I will tell you what to do," Jayden said.

"Roger that," Charlotte smiled and saluted.

Then to Temi: "Get ready to make contacts with Rusnia and the other neighbouring countries in the continent. Tell them Nortasia will be joining the Alliance."

Temi took note.

Paula was informed to begin production of more choppers and locomotives, and she had promised to go unique.

And lastly was the superstar lady of The Core.

"Win the hearts of everyone for us, and they have to know they should be prepared for the worst. When The Shield breaks, the Sovereign Protocols will arrive."
