CHAPTER 41: KATE’S ONLY OPTION

Michael shocked everyone around with his words.

It was clear, he was declaring war against Dante and his entire gang.

Even Kate, who was always confident and proud, for a moment, she could not help but wonder if Michael was stupid or something.

She believed that she had the ability to fight, but, she was not capable of facing an entire gang.

Moreover, the gangsters had guns, which was something that she had noticed during the previous clash between the shadow assembly gang and blood tiger gang.

She was here today, intending to buy the orphanage. Then, using her family’s connection, she would be able to make sure that the gangsters would not get involved with the orphanage.

"Kid, forget about us, just go. Since you have already left the gang, and beaten up their men, they will definitely come looking for you." The old man John, spoke while looking at Michael.

"Yes, child, just forget about us. It is good enough that you have been helping us out during the past 2 years. But, you cannot risk your life like this." The old lady, Rebecca, echoed her husband’s words.

Looking at the old couple that still cared about his safety, Michael was touched.

Ever since the passing of his parents, it was only this old couple that really showed him the love of a family. Of course, apart from them, it was the other kids within the orphanage.

So, no matter what, Michael had no any intention of abandoning them. He had to deal with the shadow assembly gang, and give them a good life, before departing from this city.

"I have already provoked them. And, even if I leave, they will definitely come for you. Don’t worry, I can deal with it." Michael spoke assuringly while looking at the old couple.

Michael had only finished speaking those words when suddenly, Kate spoke up.

She looked at Michael, before saying, "You better leave. You have already provoked them to the extent that they will come looking for you with the intention of killing.

It is impossible for you to be able to deal with an entire gang by yourself. They have guns. Don’t tell me, just because you know how to fight, you can deal with the bullets?

Anyway, leave the issues of the orphanage to me, I will take care of it. I will make sure that nobody within the orphanage continues to suffer." Kate spoke while gazing at Michael.

She was quite amazed by the fact that Michael was strong. Additionally, his actions proved that he was not a gangster.

Since he was not a gangster, her impression of him improved, especially considering that he was dealing with the gangsters in order to save orphans.

Watching as Michael left, Kate frowned slightly. She was wondering, was it true that Michael had the ability of dealing with the gangsters? Or was this just arrogance instead of confidence?

As she was puzzled, the old lady, Rebecca suddenly spoke up.

Her eyes were slightly misty as she looked at Michael who was heading towards the dormitory and said, "His life has been quite hard. He was a top student when his parents were alive.

But for some reason, both of his parents ended up dying due to a bank heist when he was 14. At that time, he had already finished the final exams in middle school, about to join high school.
