CHAPTER 550: CHAPTER 550 - A SUDDEN HEAT CRISIS (PART 1)

The first general meeting with the "would-be" beast husbands ended up in a somewhat good note. It suddenly got me thinking that a meeting like this should be done at least a few times a year so the husbands can meet each other in a light mood. It is also better to know each others’ existences at least.

That would be interesting for me at least but I am just not sure if the mood is as light as I am thinking of. I honestly want them to meet each other since whether they like it or not, we are part of the same family and we have to have each others’ backs one way or another. I don’t want in-fighting so it is better if they get used to the fact that my family is going to be a very big family, much bigger than what it is right now.

It brought an amused smile on my face for some reason as I was walking back to my villa up north. During my leisurely walk, I noticed that somebody was following me closely behind. I don’t know if their idea of stealth or discretion is vastly different from mine but I could hear very clearly each footstep and how the branches and leaves crunch as they were getting stepped on.

I smiled playfully and started sprinting suddenly towards my house. I haven’t even reached 10 meters when the person behind me shouted, "Luna! Wait for me. Don’t you dare escape me by running! Stop!"

If this was a stalker, would you really stop running just because you were told to do so? Who would be in their right mind to do that? Well, I know it was Marius but still it is fun to play tag sometimes.

I reached the door of my villa in just a couple of minutes which would have taken 10 minutes if I continued my leisurely pace earlier. I turned around and leaned on the wall next to my door and waited for my cute little panting stalker to arrive.

Well, you must understand that sure he is on land so he has feet for running. Sure, he can swim fast with his tail and fins but once they turn into legs, its vastly different.

After about a couple minutes more, Marius finally got through the clearing and arrived in front of my yard. His head was down and he was seriously panting like he’s about to die.

It took about a few seconds before he can breathe a little more calmly and his head immediately snapped up to my direction and he glared at me. I smiled at him innocently and asked, "What can I help you, Mr. Stalker?"

He was still breathing heavily but he still pushed himself to talk in between breaths and gritted teeth, "I need... talk to... you. You knew... it... was me.. so why... why did you run?!"

I chuckled at his labored and breathy question then responded, "I just felt like running. Come inside my house then so we could talk."

I then turned around, open my villa door and went in a leisurely manner. I heard him click his tongue behind me but I ignored it and just comfortably sat on my living room cushions. Marius sat across me with a loud thud as his bottom hit the cushion with a matching gloomy face.

I simply stared at him patiently, waiting for him to speak. He stared at me for a few seconds, did a heavy sigh then demanded, "I met you first so I should have your babies first, don’t you think?"

I looked at him for a few seconds then my eyebrows scrunched up as if what he said was hard or unacceptable for me. As expected of this merfolk and his over the top reaction, he stood up and glared at me again. The next bratty move of course was to stomp his feet as he walked towards my direction and then slumped hos bottom next to me.

I looked side ways with an expressionless face and he was still looking at me with a glare as he asked, "You spent time with that Lir inside the same room for who knows how many days but you wouldn’t even look at me that long, come near me or approach me when we are alone. Am I not attractive enough to your eyes?"

In my head I was just thinking, "I am yet to meet a single merfolk that isn’t attractive. Actually, scrap that. The men of this world all look above average even when they have aged a bit. Humans are physically attractive and even the mystiques have a level higher in beauty standards so what is this man even talking about?"

Seeing that I was not agreeing to what he said earlier, he spoke again and instead of the demanding tone, he used a pleading tone this time as he said, "Can you please consider me first? I’m begging you. I wanted to be with you from the first time I saw you. I met you first. I- just- please. Even if you don’t like me the most... please..."

I dramatically placed my right over my eyes and looked down as if feeling some kind of pain. I was trying to stay serious but my shoulders start to shake as I was laughing quietly. Eventually, I couldn’t help it and giggles escaped my mouth.

How can he be so cute an adorable? He’s like Aurum, Kayden, Lark and Void combined! Where did he even get the idea that I wasn’t interested in him?

Before I could even respond to his question I felt him grab both my shoulders as he started shaking me while whining like a kid on a meltdown. I suddenly grabbed him too but on both side of his face as I pulled him forward for a fiery kiss.

The whiny brat stiffened at first due to being kissed so suddenly but afterwards, he placed his hands on top of mine and kissed back. He was clumsy at first but he learned quite quickly after a few tries. Next thing I knew, his kisses even become wilder and more greedy so I had to push his face away from mine before he goes totally crazy.

The fact that the kiss stopped didn’t register immediately to Marius as I looked at his face. His eyes were half closed and he was obviously dazed. His face was flushed, lips moist, swollen and slightly open while his breaths were a bit heavy. It was obvious that his mind and body was overwhelmed with the sudden intimacy.

I had to look away for a bit since he looked even more adorable now. I honestly want to eat him there and there but I had to go back to the academe tonight since the classes start uite early tomorrow and I don’t want to fumbling about just to get there in time.

I simply stared at Marius and waited patiently for him to get back in his senses. I waited for several minutes but he stayed in the daze state and I couldn’t help but notice that his body is getting hotter. He involuntarily started to pull on his clothes trying to remove them. Why does this look seem familiar?

No way. Is it this easy to get these beastmen to go on heat? Not really all but at least these merfolks? Lir was just like this after a brief kiss!

I immediately carried the partially conscious guy and teleported inside the bathroom inside my room upstairs. I laid him gently inside the tub in a seated position and started turning on the shower head and the faucet so cold water will fill the tub the soonest time possible.

Last time when this happened, this is what I did to forcefully cool down Lir’s heat so he won’t go crazy any further. I waited till the water inside the tub has reached his chest while seated and then I started scooping the cold water with my hand too, to pour it over his head.

I waited and waited but the water instead of cooling him down became warm which means his heat is too much for the water to cool down. I started to panic a bit since this is the first time for me, that cold water didn’t work.

The first thing I thought of was calling my parents and so I did. I sent an urgent telepathic message to my mother asking for help on what to do with the current situation.

Unlike my father would gossip first and ask unnecessary things, my mother went straight to the issue and asked, "You triggered his heat with a kiss? Place your hand on top of his womb and close your eyes. I will use a spell so I can share senses with you to check on him."

I followed my mother’s instructions as quickly as I could since I am starting to get worried for Marius. I followed the steps to let my mother check the guy that is now as hot as burning coals.
