CHAPTER 570: CHAPTER 570 - A PLACE TO BURN ENERGY (PART 2)

I coughed to get their attention and stop myself from laughing again. I replied to their questions as much as I can with a neutral expression as I said, "Yes, it is quite quick if you think about it. As I said before, my fertility is quite high that it can make up for the low fertility of my husband. As to how many times we had to do it before he got pregnant, that is something you have to ask Marius if he is willing to share that detail of our consummation. I don’t have any intention to share that information from my side. Hmm..."

I held on my chin as if thinking about something important. The men around me still have all their eyes on me, waiting for me to share what I was thinking of. I then continued, "Well, there is another way to know the answer. Actually, you can just consummate with me and you can count on your own..."

Though not all of them understood the underlying meaning of my answer at the same time, one by one, my fiancés faces all turned red as the meaning of my last statement sunk in to their little dirty minds. Some looked away while some looked down shyly while pulling on the hems of their clothes. Some looked at me directly with widened eyes and slightly opened mouths. A few even covered their reddened faces with both their hands to hide their expressions.

Well, they are not only the ones that can be shameless in this type of situation. I can easily be one too!

After my cute husbands-to-be have recovered from their shock, I then gave my next instructions which is for them to decide the order as to how I would consummate our relationships. I even suggested the draw lots method so that it would be entirely up to luck. It is indeed unfair if the order will be determined through strength since carnivores would most likely be the default winners.

The recent instructions started another round of buzzes and murmurs within the group. Only Payton was not joining the discussions since he is automatically placed last in the order because of his age. He opted to just silently nibble and enjoy his snacks.

I silently observed and listened to their discussions. They did not adapt my suggestion immediately and chose to discuss among themselves. They talked about possible information they can use to choose the order of consummation. Their brainstorming session was quite interesting and amusing actually.

Since there were 10 of them, a lot of suggestions were voiced out as to how the order should be determined. No one suggested anything about duels, spars or any strength-based category of any sort. The first suggestion was to use age to determine the order, specifically, who is already way past the age of maturity but was still unmarried and without offspring. They considered this seriously and arranged themselves based on it.

The second suggestion was more on whose race or tribe has the lease number of members as of the moment. They suggested this to consider which race needs the offspring first compared to the others. I nodded my head since I realized that this one is definitely a valid determining factor.

There were other suggestions that were shot down like using physical attributes (how handsome or manly each one is), number of offspring one can give birth to per litter and level of willingness to go first. These were not used since the first one was subjective (depends on my taste), the second one is irrelevant to the order of things and the last one was somewhat unusable because everyone is willing to go with it.

After using several determining factors, they still ended up using the draw lots for certain people that are tied up on certain determining factors. I did not take note of whoever was first or the exact order since again, I was feeling lazy. It is up to them to arrange it since they are all grown ups.

When they were already on the part wherein they are about to start the draw lots, I excused myself and went back to my room. My departure paused their discussions as they watched me go up the stairs. Once I was out of their sight, the murmurs continued once more and I can only smile and shake my head at how serious they are about that brainstorming task.

Once I am inside my room, I started cleaning up the room by changing sheets and making the place smell fresh. I also arranged my stuff in the bathroom since I got a ton of bath and shower products. I also prepared some fresh towel like some chambermaid in a high-end hotel preparing for a guest that is about to arrive. Well, it is technically an impromptu honeymoon so I atleast have to make the room look presentable at least.

Finally, I casted several magic spells in the room to tinker on the speed of time. I can expand an hour to up to 12 hours now after a lot of practice. I also placed a few barriers up to block any outside interferences (against certain beings that have a hobby of watching what I do and listening in to my conversations with others) and also keep any lewd sounds from escaping the room due to whatever is about to happen later.

Back in the World Tree Realm, after pushing Luna away to go somewhere else, Laerad was thinking about why she had that unusual expression on her face. He was also started wondering if he said anything mean or hurtful. He was very cooperative during those four days of being cooped up inside the bedroom and it was about time that they do their respective jobs anyway so she pushed for them to go out and do other things.

He eventually had no choice but to push his worries aside, thinking that she will just be in Eieneos anyways and most likely, she will visit him again tonight or he can just meet her in Tadhana in the following days. He waited patiently but the hours became days, weeks and then years but he did not see Luna anywhere.

He eventually checked in Eieneos and found out that she barely stayed there and eventually left for the human realm. As he tried to find out where she was, he realized that his sensing skill was blocked by a strong spell.

His eyes widened in disbelief as this is the first time that he could not find where Luna exactly was. He knows she is in the human realm but he can’t pinpoint where she was. Luna has travelled to more places now and have people she knew in several places so she can technically be anywhere.

He thought everything was alright and that she would return quickly after playing outside but now he does not know where she is. Ioannis, seeing Laerad confused and his eyebrows furrowed told the deity, "She is somewhere in the human realm burning her excess energy. She said that she was advised by someone to do so. At first I couldn’t understand but then I got a demonstration and a percentage of that excess energy being used on me before she left."

Laerad looked towards Ioannis direction with widened eyes as he realized that he is really the reason why Luna left the realm. If she is looking for ways to burn her excess energy, does that mean that she out to look for new husbands? If she was in the usual places, why would she even need to hide her whereabouts?

Just as Laerad was about to teleport back to the little hut, his lower abdomen started to cramp really bad. He inhaled abruptly as he felt the sharp pain all of a sudden. He hugged his abdomen and slid to the floor in a sitting position.

Ioannis was surprised at Laerad’s sudden movement and grimaced face. He immediately called for their parents-in-law for help on confirming if there is something wrong with the pregnant deity.

While Ioannis was calling their grandparents, the twins, seeing Uncle Laerad in pain, floated towards him. Once they are near him, they touched his belly and rubbed it gently with their tiny hands as if comforting him. The pain gradually subsided after Ianthe and Iosef touched his belly.

Laerad looked curiously at the twins who looked cute, adorable and looked like their father except for a few features they inherited from Luna. The twins was also staring at him then they spoke in a very soft voice as Ianthe said, "Uncle, stop worrying. Our siblings can feel it." Iosef then added, "Our siblings can feel your anger and jealousy."

After saying their statements, they floated back to their father’s arms. Ioannis clearly heard what the twins said to Laerad and he doesn’t know if he wanted to laugh or shake his head in helplessness with how blunt the children are when advising others.

Author’s Note: To put it in perspective, 1 day in Eieneos is roughly 3.4 hours in the human realm. On the other hand, the time difference for the World Tree Realm is even larger as 2.6 hours in the human realm is already 1 year in the World Tree Realm. The husbands got pregnant in the human realm so the 1 year they are pregnant follows the time frame in the human realm. Such a hassle and quite a long pregnancy, isn’t it? Which is why Luna is pushing for the time in the world tree realm to match that of Eieneos at least.
