CHAPTER 243: THE 30 ADVANCED CLASS STUDENTS (3)- WHOA WHOA, WHO ARE YOU??

By now, the trio had gotten up from the seats and moved their way toward the eating area.

Clara and Elias soon joined them, and even though Theo told them not to bring him any food to eat, and that they were going to do it on their own, they just didn’t listen.

When they went to bring back three platings of food in the cafeteria of the academy, Elysia and Ron gave Theo weird looks.

"Does every noble heir have attendants?" Ron asked while trying to understand why two individuals were following Theo all the time.

"Well..." Theo wanted to give an explanation when Elysia stepped up.

"It’s not rare for noble heirs to have attendants with them. Though it happens at a level above Viscounty, and also, it depends from heir to heir," she spoke the last part with emphasis to irk Theo, which definitely worked.

"That makes sense. There are so many nobles around us, but Theo is one of the only ones with two. Why is that, Theo?" Ron asked in curiosity, which made even Theo think about his answer.

"Well..." He thought for a moment and, seeing that Elysia was slyly smirking from the side as if already knowing, he spoke again, "The male attendant, Elias, is the one allotted by my family. There is this whole story around it. I won’t go further in, but the female attendant, Clara, is the one I chose to come along with me."

"Do you like her?" Ron asked with giggles.

"Yes," Theo said with a confused face. "She is like my big sister," he said, making Ron become more and more confused.

"I thought I understood all about this, but definitely not."

"Ahahahha– You are not wrong, Ron. It’s not like this with the attendant systems. It’s just his family that is different."

When that topic started, it was the only one that went on till the food was there. Theo forcefully made Elias and Clara eat with them after Elysia, the second noble heir they were worried about, told them to sit too.

It made Clara and Elias feel good that the friends he made were definitely like him.

"So, the conclusion is, for the lack of better words, Theo’s family is very unique, just like his affinity."

Ron nodded and looked at Theo in a new light. "I knew about the Merrick Barony because I looked into the second unique affinity holder, but I stopped after knowing about Theo. Clearly, I should have," Ron said with his giggles.

They talked around while eating for a long time, when Clara and Elias also mixed in the conversation a few times.

Theo started feeling a little better about the academy.

It was something he had known he would enter for a long time.

And at the back of his head, there was this feeling that he would be alone in it, just like his previous life.

That was one of the reasons he brought Clara with them too, so that he could feel at home in the academy, because making friends or acquaintances with kids just didn’t feel good.

But clearly, he was wrong. He just needed a bunch of weird people stuck together to feel good in the academy, and in the honesty of the heart, Theo liked it.

After they were done talking, Elysia was called by her one attendant, who was helping her around the dorm shifting instead of staying with her.

She got a lot of comments from Theo for giving him a headache about having them when clearly she was with one too.

But she just giggled and went back with her attendant, leaving them alone.

Theo left Ron too, who went on to pack his stuff and move to the main dormitory.

Soon, Theo got there too and got his stuff ready to move out.

All the things were carried by Clara and Elias, and Theo only had the moving carriage of the ants, which were made to hide inside till he said so.

If the other students saw ants all around the block of soil, the only thing that would come from them would be disgust or panic that Theo was trying to infest the whole place.

When Theo got to the main area, he was satisfied to see his room.

It wasn’t a small room by any standard. Its size was the same as the one Theo had in the castle, only a lot more segregated in rooms.

There was a room just with tables and shelves to study, there was a small personal kitchen in the second room that had a whole chimney and windows.

The third one was the sleeping area, and then there was a big lobby with sofas and a table.

"Apparently, only the advanced class students have this big room. The beginner class students are living in pairs of four," Clara spoke, making Theo wince just by thinking about it.

There were too many students in one room to focus on studies. If it were a military school or camp, then it wouldn’t matter, but in an academy where the exams were said to be tough? It was definitely going to affect them.

"Clara, Elias, go to the market and get yourself some good mattresses. Don’t try to save money; we have a lot," Theo spoke.

The whole bunch of money that they had was segregated between Clara and Elias because they were the ones who did all the shopping anyway.

They both had things to say about it, but they knew how Theo was, so there was nothing but accepting it.

When Theo was all alone in the room, he went to the bed and lay down with a sigh. It was not a big day, but he was still a little exhausted.

’I need to evolve as many ants as I can, and that study room is big enough to keep them. It’s also a bit private, so I can hide them if needed.’

"What’s this collection of ants you have there? I haven’t seen anything quite like them, boy."

"????"
