Into the Unown (Pokemon Fanfiction OC)
Announcement of a New Story
GESTALT: THE STORY ABOUT A BITE-SIZED MECHA PRINCESS WITH A VOICE CLAIMING TO BE THE AUTHOR OF THE WORLD STUCK IN HER HEAD
Colonial Calendar, AE 598. Humanity had long since taken to the stars to escape a dying Earth.
Apollo's Chariot, the cradle for what remained of the former European Union, wandered all throughout the known galaxy, in search of a new home for humanity. All was well in this arduously long journey as generations passed, the mighty space faring vessel stopping only to mine from neighbouring star systems to replenish their industry and expand their colony.
Until one day, the Voidlings attacked.
After suffering from devastating losses and the destruction of one of its Production Domes, the Colonial Parliament laid down a decree to hasten the development of mechanized giants and fight back against the scourge of the Voidlings.
Or at least that was the summary of a story from a wannabe fledgeling author — a young man struggling to make ends meet in rural England.
Unfortunately, he never really got anywhere, owing to the fact that he met an unseemly end in his bathroom.
But fret not! For his soul was isekai'd into this very world that he conceived. So surely, this was the start of a new life? One where the author powers through the hierarchy of his own creation and builds a galactic empire worthy of his splendour? Right? Riiiight?
In his dreams perhaps. Because there was no overpowered system guiding him, nor a harem of women waiting at his every whim. Because the almighty author now found himself stuck within the mind of a destitute orphan girl living on the streets, bereft of even a physical form.
Amelia Armstrong, the orphaned beggar, awoke with an annoying voice stuck in her head. Initially sceptical of the ghost's claims, the girl found herself playing along as each of the voice's predictions came true before her eyes. Until eventually, she enlisted into the colony's Space Defence Force as a prototype mecha pilot.
Armed with her expanded mental capacity and some loose knowledge of humanity's enemies, the girl will thus rise through the ranks and become the exalted mech pilot dubbed; The Bite-Sized Mecha Princess!
"Stupid pervert author and your stupid naming sense! Why couldn't you write a story about a poor girl's leisurely rise to becoming a billionaire supermodel instead?!"
[NOT AN SI!!!]
What to expect:
* A more action oriented story (hopefully)
* Giant robots
* Snacking
* Swearing - I do still get the ocasional idiot in RR that go and leave a troll review complaining about the use of swear words in "Into the Unown" even though it was already explicitly stated in the disclaimer and tags. Any such behavior will only result in an automatic block/ban.
* Some amounts of toilet humour.
* No romance
The story is free to access for everyone.
And can be read here in Patreon.
The only thing I ask is that you leave some feedback for me. No need to worry about my feelings, be as harsh as you can. But if your intention is to troll then just fuck off I guess?
And to incentivize feedback. If I can get at least 15 good, proper and useful comments by the end of today then I'll give you guys a double release of Into the Unown for tomorrow.
That sound fair?
I get; at least 15 useful comments.
You get; a double release of Into the Unown.
Heck, If you don't have an account, I'll even count comments made here in the comment section of this website.
Also, the story won't be posted on RR and SH just yet until I accumulate at least 50 chapters. After that, depending on how many I release to the public, I might paygate the rest. So this is probably the only chance that you'll have to read everything in advance.
WARNING: If you are reading this not on Patreon, RoyalRoad or NovelBin. Then know that this story has been stolen and distributed without my consent. Please note that you can read chapters of Into the Unown for free on RR and SH as well. And you'll likely get a better experience there.
That last part is because I know scrappers get their content here from SH. I'd be surprised if they even bother to remove the warning.
