After reaching home I was all jittery. I forgot to close the door and my mom went mad at me. She said, " Why do you always forget to close the door, also when you come back home you should at least say I am back".

    I replied " Sorry mom. Next time I''ll surely be more careful ". Even though I rarely do such mistakes.

    She noticed my eagerness and restlessness, but she didn''t say a word. She smiled and went back to the kitchen. She might have thought that something good has happened to me that''s why I am so excited.

    I rushed into my room and started searching her name over Facebook. As I typed Ana there were 1000s of people that popped up with the same name. I searched for her for about 15-20 mins but I didn''t find her. I was crestfallen. But then I thought if I took the same path which I took today maybe I''ll meet her again. Thinking about this I felt a bit happy and went downstairs for dinner.

    Next day I went through the same path.

    I was cycling as slow as possible but I didn''t see her. Again next day I went through the same path but again I didn''t see her. I repeated this cycle for four days but I was not able to find her.

    I accepted my fate.

    On the fifth day, I stopped at the snack bar. I was having my snack and working on the college project there when I saw her going home.

    I suddenly got up. I didn''t believe it was her. She was going home with a boy and after seeing that I don''t know why, I kind of felt bad.

    Intrinsically, I thought she was with her boyfriend. But I could clearly see she was not happy, then I thought should I go and ask her if she is with her boyfriend or not? All those thoughts were running in my minds.

    But at last I thought, I should go and thank her for the other day. Basically i just wanted to talk with her her, so that was my reason at that time.

    I took my cycle and went behind them. I said " hey Ana, long time no see"

    The boy with Ana said " Who are you ? " and He suddenly turned towards Ana asking " who is he?"

    I replied, " My name is Kevin, I am just her friend!" I can see as I arrived there Ana was a bit relieved.

    I turned toward the boy and asked:

    " who are you?"

    Ana replied " He is our senior from the tennis club. Since I got late due to practice He said he would drop me.

    I insisted that there was no need, I can go home by myself but he then said

    "I will drop you home. Is there a problem going with me?"

    I read the situation. Her senior was definitely hitting her, Ana was walking home due to peer pressure. After listening to all this I said:

    " I''ll accompany her from here on, you should go continue your practice."

    Ana was surprised after hearing all this and the senior was pissed.

    He said " Do whatever you want! " and left.

    Then we started walking towards her home.

    I thought it was a dumb move to say something like that in front of Ana.

    " Sorry, I didn''t mean to interfere" I said that suddenly.

    I don''t know why I said I''ll accompany her even when she was with a senior.

    She replied " It''s okay, I didn''t want to go with him, to begin with, he just forced me to go home with him. Also since he is my senior I couldn''t reject him"

    I was not listening to her I was just thinking why did I interfere with them.

    She then said" Hello, are you listening "

    Suddenly I recognized that she was saying something to me and I didn''t listen to a thing.

    I replied " yeah of course "

    She said" what are you replying to, are you daydreaming or what"

    And then she started smiling.

    Literally, I was daydreaming about her.

    When I saw her smiling I was relieved because she was not mad at me.

    I don''t know why I felt like that, but when I saw her smile I felt like my heart would skip a beat.

    She then again started saying something but I was not listening to a thing. I was just seeing her adorable smiling face.

    " You should laugh more often, you look really cute when you laugh!"

    I said that without thinking once.

    She suddenly stopped saying and started blushing. She started reacting like she didn''t hear me. We then were quiet for a minute. This situation was really awkward so to relax the situation I thought I should ask her, in which college she studies.

    I asked, " In which college do you study?"

    She replied "Tristate University ".

    I was shocked I said" that''s the same university in which I go. "

    She was also surprised. She said" In which department you are in "

    I said, " I am an engineering student ". She replied "I am a commerce student "

    She then started telling about her classes, in which building she goes, she also told about the tennis club which she recently joined.

    I got to know that both of us were freshmen and I was in a different department so I didn''t see her. Also, I didn''t join any sports club so I never waited after college hours.

    We were talking all the way home about college and clubs then we reached her home. She said" It was nice talking with you. "

    I replied " Same here "

    I was really happy, the girl whom I was searching on the internet and was waiting over her home route was my college mate and I don''t know why today I felt a little closer to her.

    I said "bye. See you later " Even though I didn''t want to go.

    She then replied "Bye "

    I went home with a smiling face.

    Ana''s thoughts

    She went inside her home. She was really happy and when she realized this she started blushing.

    She then started thinking '' why he came home with me, did he see my depressed face when I was going home with a senior?

    Why did he say that I look cute when I smile"

    Why was he being so considerate for me? All those thoughts were bubbling inside her mind.
