Chapter 1107 - 824: He Is Already Dead
CHAPTER 1107: CHAPTER 824: HE IS ALREADY DEAD
A bustling breakfast finally took over an hour for everyone to finish eating.
However, when everyone left the dining room, it had lost its original elegant appearance, leaving only a chaotic battlefield behind.
"Gumum..."
Walking down a corridor in the palace, Luna was still staring at Reiger’s back, making strange noises from her throat with a look of gritted teeth, leaving no doubt that she wanted to pounce on him and bite a chunk out of him.
If it weren’t for the little princess clinging tightly to one of Luna’s arms, face full of fear, Luna would have already pounced, viciously like a mad dog.
"Hey, are you still mad?"
Holding the sleepy Yuloli’s hand and walking ahead, Reiger felt a constant chill on his back, making him glance behind and throw out this question.
"Don’t talk to me." Luna snorted angrily, "Mom told me not to talk to filthy beasts casually, or I’ll be tainted."
"...Your mom is really double-standard." Reiger choked on his words, then replied irritably, "Having such views and still giving birth to you is truly a miracle."
"This world never lacks miracles." Luna coldly responded, "At least, people yearn for miracles, not despicable acts."
"You’re not talking about me, are you?" Reiger asked with a smirk, "I shouldn’t have done anything like that."
"You really have no self-awareness, Sir Brilliant." Luna sarcastically said, "But don’t worry, even if you lack self-awareness, there are righteous people like me to keep you in check. If you don’t want to die obediently, I suggest you turn yourself in to avoid the gallows."
"I think you’re the one lacking self-awareness here." Reiger nonchalantly said, "I didn’t commit any crimes; it was consensual."
A consensual relationship, he said.
Hearing this, Luna’s defenses broke again, and a murderous aura filled her heart.
"Master..."
Liz, upon hearing Reiger’s words, turned entirely red.
No matter how naive and innocent she was, she knew she had been completely devoured by her unscrupulous master last night and had officially graduated from her maiden status.
This left the little princess with complex emotions, half bewildered, half delighted, and the rest entirely shy.
"Your Highness."
Seeing Liz like this, the little maid’s heart shattered into countless pieces as she burst into tears.
"My poor princess, not understanding the world yet deceived by such a rogue."
Luna hugged Liz, crying uncontrollably.
"Your Highness, oh Your Highness, you’re still so young. How could you be so unlucky to encounter such a thing?"
The maid’s lament made the little princess feel nothing but awkward and embarrassed.
"Well... Luna, I’m not that young anymore."
The little princess could only weakly express this.
"...Not that young indeed."
Walking ahead, Reiger, recalling some pleasant moments from last night because of Liz’s words, mumbled quietly.
"Shut up!"
Stimulated at once, Luna seemed furious as if ready to lift a kitchen knife and throw it at Reiger.
"No!"
Liz hurriedly stopped her.
The master and servant tangled up with each other, once again causing a scene.
"What on earth is going on?"
Reiger could only find it absurdly amusing, promptly deciding to pay Luna no more mind, he then took Yuloli’s hand and left the palace.
This was one of Reiger and the others’ pastimes during this period, going for a walk outside after meals to relieve boredom.
However, today the outside of the palace seemed anything but peaceful. Knights were running back and forth everywhere, and the servants moved about nervously, creating a sense of unrest.
"What’s going on?"
Liz and Luna, who had been playing around, noticed the scene.
"What happened?"
Reiger paused for a moment, then casually asked a nearby knight standing guard.
The knights exchanged a glance.
"Actually..."
The leading knight approached Reiger, intending to whisper in his ear.
Suddenly—
"Clang!"
The knight next to Reiger, without any warning, drew his sword and, with a fierce expression, slashed toward Reiger.
This sudden turn of events caught everyone off guard.
Because the knight was too close to Reiger and it all happened so suddenly, nobody could react in time.
Therefore, when the sword in the knight’s hand was about to strike Reiger, not even Luna, nor Liz could react promptly.
Of course, this sudden attack was quite underwhelming in the eyes of the two whose combat power was comparable to Level 9.
"Clang!"
Just as the knight’s sword was less than a centimeter away from Reiger’s throat, a delicate hand next to Reiger instantly reached out like a blurry phantom, catching up with the sharp blade and forcefully deflecting the knight’s sword.
"Snap...!"
Reiger’s hand somehow reached out as well, grabbing the knight’s hand with a relentless twist, breaking it on the spot.
"Arghhhhhhhhhhh...!"
