Isekai Adventure in the Dimensional Cube
Chapter 763 - 600 ...who is it?
CHAPTER 763: 600 ...WHO IS IT?
The grand yet unexpectedly uneventful journey to the ruins finally came to a close.
Although they didn’t achieve their initial goal, Reiger and Liz still had a fruitful trip and managed to return in one piece.
Of course, the return process was naturally much easier than the journey there.
They didn’t need to step into that dungeon filled with various mutated monsters again, nor did they need to cross deserts and sandstorms; they just had to open the "Teleportation Gate," and Reiger and his companions could easily leave this place and return to where they belonged.
"Are we going back to Xin Ye Le?"
Liz had asked this question.
Reiger thought about it and finally shook his head.
"Let’s go directly back to the Kingdom of Ginas, back to the royal capital of Yeruf," he said.
With the "Teleportation Gate" in hand, since they needed to return, it was naturally best to go back to their own familiar territory.
As for Xin Ye Le, Reiger didn’t think about going back before, but now he kind of did.
Of course, his return to Xin Ye Le was not for leisure.
Let’s not forget, Sgranot Bayard had mixed up with those from the "Ice Lady" group.
Reiger wanted to go back to Xin Ye Le to find Sgranot Bayard and get clear information about "Ice Lady" and her people.
But since Sgranot Bayard had abandoned the "Ice Lady" and fled alone, that proved that their relationship might not be very deep.
If the relationship was not deep, then it’s unlikely anything substantial could be gleaned from questioning him.
Given that, that guy’s affairs could be set aside for the time being; there was no need to rush to deal with them.
"Now, let’s focus on your matters first," he said.
Reiger then turned his gaze toward Liz and Yuloli.
These two were currently of paramount importance.
"Let’s go, head back first," he said.
Right there and then, Reiger opened the Teleportation Gate leading to the Franzel residence right in front of his companions.
"Buzz!"
A semicircular gate of darkness appeared, progressively darkening the space.
"Remember, without my permission, unless someone attacks you first, do not attack anyone, got it?" Reiger commanded Yuloli, specifically before entering the Teleportation Gate.
Yuloli didn’t respond, just holding Liz and constantly sniffing around her, much to Liz’s annoyance.
"Is there really some smell on me?" Liz now harbored such suspicion and sniffed her own smooth hands several times.
"Master..."
The little princess also looked at Reiger, seemingly wanting him to smell her to check.
"...Let’s go," Reiger said, forcing himself to ignore the little princess’s pleading eyes and skillfully changing the subject.
"Yes," the little princess, though vexed, ultimately didn’t disobey Reiger’s wishes and followed behind Reiger with Yuloli.
Reiger double-checked his control over Yuloli once more, feeling the connection with her that was now much stronger than when it first began. Finally, with resolve, he led Liz and Yuloli through the Teleportation Gate.
And so, the group returned to the royal capital of Yeruf, back to the Franzel residence.
...
This was a space unknown to others.
The space wasn’t vast, but it was very dim, with a round table in the middle that seemed like it was in some secret underground meeting room, exuding the feeling of something clandestine.
Around the round table, there were seven seats.
These seats were incredibly peculiar, made entirely of crystal, and it was evident that these were no ordinary furniture pieces but magical artifacts created using large magic crystals, with elusive magic power undulating on them, forming invisible ripples to the naked eye.
At one moment, all seven Crystal Thrones lit up simultaneously.
One by one, phantasmal figures appeared on the Crystal Thrones, filling up the entire circumference of the round table.
"Has everyone arrived?"
A steady voice from the foremost seat broke the silence of the underground conference room first.
Suddenly, the figures on the Crystal Thrones all made the gesture of looking up, responding to this lead figure.
"’Giant Soldier,’ present," said the voice from the Crystal Throne to the left of the lead seat, clearly belonging to an elder, aged but imbued with wisdom.
"’Flame Princess,’ present," came from the Crystal Throne to the right of the lead seat, obviously the voice of a stunningly beautiful matron, alluring and moving.
"... ’Ba Serpent,’ present," came from the second row on the left, a voice full of a mechanical timbre, sounding not human, but rather like some inanimate object.
"’Tyrant,’ present," boomed from the second row on the right, a voice rough and forceful, immediately suggesting someone physically robust and mentally straightforward.
"’Trillion,’ present here, huh?" chimed from the third row on the left, a flippant tone that gave off an air of nonchalance.
"... ’Ice Lady,’ present," stated the figure from the third row on the right, her voice extremely cold, seemingly lowering the temperature of the air a few degrees.
Undoubtedly, she was the same ’Ice Lady’ who had fought Reiger in the ancient ruins and had been thrown into the magma by him.
This woman was not dead; she seemed perfectly fine, with not the slightest hint of injury in her voice, which was surprising.
’Giant Soldier,’ ’Flame Princess,’ ’Ba Serpent,’ ’Tyrant,’ ’Trillion,’ ’Ice Lady’... and, sitting in the foremost seat, ’Sky Hunter.’ The group of seven behind the magic automaton were present in this unknown underground meeting room.
