[Eon's POV: ]

Three of the six classes that they had in common were over so now they were all going for their special classes.

"See you soon then~." Rein went with Quinny once again, a joyous expression present on her face as usual.

Liz and Zoe were together today as well. Going for their special classes together, the two of them looked pretty excited about wherever they were going to learn today.

There were classes among the many classes that they were pretty happy to attend, while many of the students didn't really like the classes that they were going for even though they had chosen it themselves.

'They didn't get as free a range of classes as the last time, but they might have still chosen the ones that would favour them the most.'

Of the many classes that the academy offered to the second year students, there were classes that very few could attend. And I was going to one such class present in the deep garden area of the academy where many of the creatures gather.

"Oh…"

"Didn't expect you to be here."

"Wasn't this supposed to be a secret special class? Why is a frog like you here?"

"Listen up everyone, please gather here. The teacher will be here soon."

The open area of the garden was currently filled with students carrying expensive looking weapons.

Despite the backgrounds that they had or the positions that they may hold within the society, they were carrying around an expensive looking weapon.

There were some of the students who carried relic-like artefacts with them. These artifacts were something that one cannot compare with anything else.

I was simply standing there, looking at the most attractive thing present in the middle of the garden.

[{ Woah… they are strong, master. }]

There were three hounds present, each one of (Indigo) rank.

The Mana they possessed was obviously high, but that wasn't all.

"Holy, Dark, and Ice. They are pretty rare."

The three hounds seemed like tamed beasts since they weren't chained by anything. They were simply resting there, all free.

The teaching assistant that was standing before all of us seemed like a younger assistant professor of the academy.

I have seen him around, I also know many things there are to know about him, but he wasn't usually seen within the academy, so many of the students didn't know who he was.

Many from the noble background even asked him who he was along with what he was doing there and where the teacher was right now.

Some of them from a common background who still possessed those high level artifacts were all looking at one another with hostility.

I was standing right there, and they weren't paying much attention to me as if my presence there was obvious to all of them.

It was strange, in a way at least.

'The class is called Mastering unique artifacts where a world renowned Collector, someone who collected various artifacts around the world, helped the students understand the true worth of their weapons while at the same time, helping them learn more about the artefacts.

'Students came here to learn more about their artifacts but I was here to make connections with this teacher.'

He wasn't around the academy most of the time. Even though he was a teacher affiliated with the academy, just like his TA, he was also not around much.

His lectures were going to be once a week as well, and very few people had obtained access to his class.

Rein and I were among the few that got the access from our group but none of them joined except myself.

Rein knew all there was to know about Nept while Chry didn't have much to know about his EFMW.

There were weapons and magic wands that I gave Alf and Carla that were pretty useful and rare, something that cannot be compared to many other artifacts of the same rank. But, even they did not come to know more about their artefacts.

'Unlike me, there was no reason for any of them to attend this class where they weren't even going to learn something useful.'

There was one thing that the people present around me had in mind, and they were here only for that one thing: Getting information.

"Alright! The teacher is here!"

Some were carrying their family hairloom, while some were carrying the treasures that they found which turned out to be something of far more value than they might have ever expected.

Some were carrying the legacy of someone very close to them while some were simply carrying around weapons given by someone else to get tested by this collector.

'Still, the weapons were not the reason they were called to the class but their synergy with the weapon.'

There was one more name given to the Collector, and that was [Tuner].

He could fine tune someone and their weapon to allow them a greater synergy with their weapon and the environment.

"Looks like we have quite the number with us this time~."

Being one of the least popular classes, the students also looked down on this class for not being much practical.

Also, the teacher that taught this class was a crazy person.

"How about we test you all first~?"

His voice was not as deep as you find in men of his age, his voice seemed pretty northern. The goatee that he carried along with his sharp moustache made him look more like an entertainer than a collector.

He was also wearing a unique looking suit. The clothes that he was wearing were all artefact of high level, each one bearing the price tags of hundreds of thousands of gold.

The accessories that he had on him were all costly as well, some costing hundreds of platinum even.

Some of his artifacts, like the two rings, his golden chain, as well as his monocle were also incomparable relics that one could find in history books and legends.

He was no simple man. There were depths to him that one cannot fathom… but he was still crazy.

"Go puppies."

"Awoooooooooo!"

He glanced at the three high elemental beasts sitting behind him and when he did, they got up with a howl and jumped right at the nearest person around them.

"Hey…!"

"Oh hell no!"

"I knew it!"

Some were aware that something like this might happen so they already had their guards up.

This was not just a test to see if they could react in the surprised situations but also a test to see what kind of artifacts that they had brought for him.

If he liked any of the artifacts that he saw, he would make sure to get them if possible. He would even do his best to get the identity of the ones that made those artefacts or any kind of information related to them.

In the open market, he was a big name. Being one of the richest people in the world, he was also not someone people could mess with.

The wealth that he possessed wasn't as scary as the generational collection of artifacts that he had inherited from his ancestors and grown to new heights.

He got what he wanted and he poked his nose around the places where he saw potential for something new.

He was also one of the biggest sponsors of the academy and the students of the academy that possessed a good talent for creation.

He personally approached those who could create things that the people with conventional thinking could not even think about.

His mind was different, so he looked for people with unique minds as well— that was also the reason he did not get anywhere near Zoe, someone who was so different that it made her no different from the majority.

He was a Heliox as well, so being a long standing hindrance in the eyes of my mother, he couldn't approach her carelessly even if she was an academy student.

"Anyway…"

I was here for a deal and I was pretty serious about it, so without hesitation, I took out one of my enchanted bows, something similar to the one that I used in the event against the headmaster, and helped out the students who were caught off guard by the frost of the ice wolf.

"Woah."

He was impressed by not just the way I used my bow, but the artifact itself.

After seeing it for only a few seconds, he whistled and called his dogs back, approaching me without hesitation.

"Mister new president."

His deep purple eyes seemed to have gazed into the abyss. The way they looked at me made me feel so hollow I cannot even put it into words.

"By any chance, is this artifact related to the Heliox's Golden Demoness in any manner?"

Anyway, his question was simple.

"Not the Countess, sir. However, it sure is related to the same person that her son gets his weapons from."

It wasn't anything difficult to notice the enchantment patterns on the artifacts that I use.

If someone had seen 'Axion' use his weapons, they would know the similarities in an instant.

It was perhaps only a coincidence no one directly asked me about them… but now that he was doing so, there was no reason to hide the source of the weapons.

"Ah, I must clarify that the one who makes the weapons and the one who enchants it is a different person."

I was obviously lying since I made all of them myself… though I did use the mass-production machines in the tower so it wasn't entirely false.

I was telling the truth…

"Hmmm. I see!"

And he obviously found nothing wrong with it even with his discerning eyes.
