The Tongtian Hierarch gave him a glance and said, "Don’t try to provoke me with reverse psychology. I haven’t deceived you. To seclude oneself and remain stagnant is to make it impossible to establish great feats and accumulate everlasting merit. If there’s no merit, how can one achieve Sainthood through merit?"

"It’s not that I don’t want to help you. But if you don’t venture out, if you don’t take those first steps, you’ll never cover vast distances. Naturally, you won’t be able to achieve Sainthood through merit."

Sha Chen fell silent for a moment. The Tongtian Hierarch had made himself clear, and Sha Chen understood that without going out to establish merit, there was no way he could achieve Sainthood through merit.

Sha Chen’s eyes widened in shock.

This sounded incredibly familiar, as if the Tongtian Hierarch was alluding to his own plan at the end of the Divine Enthronement: to create a new world and bring all the people of the Sect of Interpretation there to avoid their demise. Kunlun Mountain itself is immense, standing between heaven and earth. Just one of its mountain ranges could probably fill the Flowing Sand River. The entirety of Kunlun Mountain is about a hundred times larger than the Flowing Sand River. Even so, within the vastness of Tai Huang Tian, Kunlun Mountain is but a drop in the ocean. One can only imagine just how vast Tai Huang Tian truly is.

To create a new world, one would first need immense power, followed by spatial abilities. Otherwise, creating a new world is impossible. If you can’t even control space, how could you create a world?

Sha Chen smiled bitterly. "Saint, you think too highly of this junior. Tai Huang Tian is boundless. Throwing the Flowing Sand River into it would be like a drop in the ocean. How could I possibly create it?"

The Tongtian Hierarch said casually, "As long as you cultivate your spatial power to Great Accomplishment, you can easily create it. The most difficult part is shaping the world’s features within it—making them tangible, not illusory."

Sha Chen, hearing this, was momentarily stunned and asked, "Has the Saint, perhaps, achieved Space Greatness?"

The Tongtian Hierarch looked at him intently before responding, "No. In fact, from ancient times to the present, only Di Jiang has achieved Space Greatness. And he may have reached not just Great Accomplishment, but Great Perfection."

Sha Chen gasped, finding it incredible.

Then, shocked again, he said, "If even Saints have not achieved Great Accomplishment, how can this junior succeed?"

The Tongtian Hierarch said indifferently, "You can. Your physical body follows the path of the Ancestral Witches. The method I am imparting to you is the Spatial Method cultivated by Di Jiang."

"I do not walk this path, nor can I continue on it, nor do I need to. Therefore, my spatial power has never reached Great Accomplishment."

Sha Chen was greatly startled. So, there were things even Saints could not achieve.

However, the Tongtian Hierarch’s words also filled him with great confidence, making him feel that it was indeed possible.

The Tongtian Hierarch said, "Come closer, and I shall impart to you the Spatial Method."

Overjoyed, Sha Chen hurriedly drew near.

The Tongtian Hierarch whispered in his ear. After the time it took to drink a cup of tea, the Tongtian Hierarch stood up straight again, smiling slightly.

Sha Chen’s eyes, however, were already shining. He had received the Spatial Method and knew how to strengthen his spatial abilities. Merely listening to the method described by the Tongtian Hierarch made him feel that the rudimentary spatial power within him was about to grow stronger.

But...

Spatial power was the most mysterious and unpredictable of forces. Growing stronger was not so simple. It would likely become the main focus of his cultivation.
