Uzumaki Naruto and Kurama finally resonated in complete harmony, entering Perfect Kurama Mode!

Right away, thanks to their flawless teamwork—even though Naruto was still young—Kurama's tailed‑beast chakra flowed through him perfectly, letting the boy and the fox push their combined power to the absolute limit.

In the blink of an eye—

BOOM!

Bathed in dazzling gold, Naruto shot forward in Kurama Mode, charging straight at Uchiha Obito.

BANG!

A gigantic hand of chakra burst forth.

Obito, however, remained unfazed.

"Turning into a humanoid cloak does make it easier to dodge the black receivers of the Rinnegan," he mused.

"But it also makes it that much simpler for me to suck you into Kamui. With this strike, I'll capture the Nine‑Tails for good!"

Part of his body slipped into Kamui's intangibility, phasing through the attack. Then he counter‑lunged at Naruto—one touch, and he could drag the boy into the Kamui dimension. Inside that space, even Perfect Kurama Mode would be powerless to escape. In other words, the Nine‑Tails would be his.

The two figures flashed past each other—just like Obito's battle with Namikaze Minato years ago. Whoever proved faster would seize the final victory.

VMM—

Dozens of chakra arms erupted from Naruto, closing in on Obito from every angle. Yet Obito's combat experience far outstripped Naruto's; he slipped through the barrage with ease, phasing whenever evasion alone wouldn't suffice. Every one of Naruto's attacks hit nothing but air.

Obito was already upon Naruto's true body.

"I win," he declared, reaching for the golden cloak.

Just then—

Another golden figure plummeted from high above the Four Red Yang Formation.

"Huh? That's—"

"A shadow clone?!"

"Damn!"

Obito's face twisted. He'd never imagined Naruto already knew the Shadow Clone Technique—one illusion no dōjutsu could see through. He hadn't realized the boy had secretly made a clone mid‑battle.

"When did he—"

Naruto gave him no time to think. The airborne clone slammed a colossal chakra arm downward.

RUMBLE—

BOOM!

Obito took the hit full‑on. Earth and stone shattered, leaving a massive crater.

"Naruto… did you really pull it off?"

Gaara, Fū, and the others stared, stunned.

Hidden in the shadows, Chiyu allowed himself a faint smile. "Nicely done, Naruto."

At that moment Naruto's Kurama Mode finally hit its limit. Even grown‑up Naruto in the original story could maintain it only about five minutes the first time; this younger Naruto had held it two or three—already miraculous.

Obito lay in the crater, body mangled and bloody. Viscous white matter—remnants of White Zetsu fused to him—kept sloughing off. Even with Hashirama cells and White Zetsu's support, the direct hit left him in dire straits. He staggered to his feet, half his body ruined, breathing hard, memories of the Nine‑Tails' Night and Minato flashing through his mind.

"So I underestimated you, Uzumaki Naruto—the son of Minato and Kushina, raised by Uchiha Chiyu, perfect Jinchūriki of the Nine‑Tails, and now you even command shadow clones…"

Naruto, nearly spent as Kurama Mode faded, could barely stand. He glared at Obito in shock and anger. "Still alive, huh, you bastard…"

Kurama began gathering chakra anew. "Naruto, his vitality is abnormal. One strike can wound him, but killing him will be harder… and we won't reach that form again any time soon. Your body—"

Naruto understood he wouldn't last until the next round. Even so, he refused to yield.

"Father, Mother, Lord Chiyu, Iruka‑sensei… Sasuke, Gaara, Shikamaru, Choji, Kiba—

I'm not alone anymore. I will never lose to you!"

Obito sneered. "Hurting me was a miracle in itself. But you're at your limit; I'll still claim the Nine‑Tails!"

Forcing his broken body, he charged again.

"Careful, Naruto!" Kurama warned. Gaara and the others cried out.

Just as Obito's hand was about to close on Naruto—

VMMM—

Time and space inside the Four Red Yang Formation seemed to freeze. The void locked, everyone paralyzed mid‑motion.

"Huh?! What—"

In that still world, Chiyu's figure slowly appeared. He glanced at Naruto and praised, "Well done, Naruto."

"Lord Chiyu!" Naruto exclaimed, overjoyed. The other Jinchūriki and tailed beasts exhaled in relief. Obito and Orochimaru's faces went ashen.

"Uchiha Chiyu?! Why is he here—what about Uchiha Madara…?"

"An old relic like Madara hardly needs my full attention," Chiyu said calmly.

Obito blanched. Facing Chiyu was like seeing Death itself. He tried to activate Kamui to flee, but space itself was welded shut—Kamui simply would not respond.

"What… what is this power?!"

For the first time, Obito tasted true despair: his proud space‑time ninjutsu was utterly worthless.

Chiyu glanced at him. "Stop struggling. I'd planned to let Kakashi finish you, but it seems you won't last that long. On second thought, dying at Naruto's hand is more fitting. So—die."

He released Naruto from the time‑freeze.

Naruto's eyes sharpened. He nodded to Chiyu. "Thank you, Lord Chiyu."

A kunai appeared in his palm as he stepped toward Obito, who now had no way to resist. Cold sweat rolled down Obito's brow. Was everything he'd lived for to end here, killed by a child? The Infinite Tsukuyomi, the Eye of the Moon Plan… and Rin…

Naruto hesitated for a heartbeat with the blade at Obito's throat. Fū frowned. "My Lord, he's only six or seven…"

Chiyu understood. "Parents' blood must be avenged by their child," he said quietly.

Naruto's rage flared. "He murdered my father and mother—his own teacher and teacher's wife. He's worse than a beast. No one is more deserving of killing him than me!"

Obito's voice trembled. "Naruto, even if you kill me, the spiral of hatred won't end. This world is full of pain; only the Infinite Tsukuyomi can bring perfection—"

"Whether it's a painful reality or your fake 'perfect' world, neither will have you in it," Naruto replied coldly. "Because you don't deserve it."

SWISH—

With a roar, Naruto slashed. Blood spurted; Obito's throat was nearly severed, his head hanging by a strip of flesh—dying slowly, painfully.

Panting, Naruto calmed. "Father, Mother… I avenged you."

Obito's vision blurred. Faces of Rin, Kakashi, Minato, Kushina drifted past… then everything vanished. Uchiha Obito was dead.

The Four Red Yang Formation fell silent.

"Naruto, are you all right?" Gaara asked.

"Never better," Naruto smiled, then turned to Chiyu. "Thank you, Lord Chiyu. I feel like I've been reborn."

Chiyu nodded lightly. Letting Naruto kill Obito himself had been the only reasonable choice. Parents' vengeance belonged to their child; Naruto's nature would change from this moment onward.

Chiyu casually invested the points into his eye power, then looked toward Orochimaru.

Orochimaru chuckled darkly. "So even Six‑Paths Madara isn't enough to tire you out—yet you still left a clone here. It seems all of us underestimated you. But the game isn't over yet."

Before he finished, his body sagged and rotted into black‑purple mush. Chiyu frowned.

"Snake venom, eh? Rather kill himself than let me cancel Edo Tensei…"

With Orochimaru's suicide, the reanimated dead regained their own wills—Nagato and the former Jinchūriki included.

"Uchiha Chiyu… Even after Madara killed me, they puppeteered my corpse to fight you. What a pathetic life…" Nagato sighed. The reanimated Jinchūriki agreed.

"Please… free us," they asked.

Nagato added, "My path has failed. I leave true peace to you—Uchiha Chiyu."

Chiyu nodded, summoned scarlet purgatory flames, and purified their souls, sending them back to the Pure Land. The Edo bodies reverted to sacrificial husks, and calm returned to the barrier.

Fū bowed. "Thank you, Lord. Without you, Obito and Orochimaru might have succeeded."

Naruto grinned. "With me here, those creeps never had a chance!"

Gaara shook his head. "Quit bragging, Naruto—if Lord Chiyu hadn't arrived…"

"True," Naruto admitted, scratching his head.

He looked up hopefully. "Lord Chiyu, can't we join the front lines?"

Chiyu shook his head. "I let you fight because the enemy came to you—and because of your personal enmity. But I have no intention of sending six‑ and seven‑year‑olds to war."

"Oh…" Naruto murmured. Chiyu patted his head. "Let's go."

He sealed away Obito and Orochimaru's corpses, then vanished.

Meanwhile, on the Fifth Shinobi World War's front, Hatake Kakashi and Might Guy were battling reanimated legends, White Zetsu hordes, and fragments of the Ten‑Tails. Suddenly Kakashi's Mangekyō throbbed—his vision filled with a hazy scene.

"What is it, Kakashi?!" Guy shielded him.

"I'm not sure… I'm seeing something far away—Naruto? And Lord Chiyu?!"

Because Kakashi's and Obito's eyes were linked, extreme emotional shock could sync their visions—just as when Rin died. Now he witnessed Naruto's kunai descending and the view fading to black.

"Obito… is he…"

Before Kakashi could finish, Chiyu appeared before them.

"He's dead," Chiyu stated calmly.

Kakashi's heart clenched. "Lord Chiyu… what happened?"

Chiyu told them the truth. Kakashi and Guy were filled with complex emotions.

"In the end, Obito caused untold evil. Dying by Naruto's hand is the best outcome… Thank you, Lord Chiyu."

Chiyu shrugged, then handed Kakashi Obito's remaining Kamui eye. Kakashi's eyes widened.

"This… Obito's other Mangekyō Sharingan?!"
