“What do you really want!” a player stood on a building, using an amplification prop to ask this question across the city.

Whether the opponent didn’t hear or heard but didn’t care, music began to flow slowly from the flying machines. “Adapting to local customs, this is a technology-filled city. The folk tunes from small towns definitely don’t suit everyone’s taste, so I’ve chosen a song from the New District Government City’s top charts. You probably will like it.”

“But this is my first time singing it. If I sing poorly, please bear with it.”

The man’s unique deep tone was gentleness itself, yet as each word was spoken, it turned into an invisible attack directly hitting people’s eardrums. The New District Government City’s players were prepared, and everyone applied props in advance, yet some still felt dizzy and nauseous under the sonic attack.

“This is… too powerful!” Li Kun, who had preemptively used the muffler artefact, clutched a nearby object and dry-heaved after speaking.

Xu Huo steadied his dizzy head, looked down at the baby in his arms once again, and found the child bleeding from the ears and nose, lifeless.
