Homura near her also shakily reached for a distress alarm near him.

But, Kakashi's clone moved like a shadow.

A gust of wind, a blur, and suddenly both elders were slammed against the stone wall, immediately immobilized by paralyzing seals.

They gasped for breath, their eyes wide in terror. They didn't expect the enemy to have such strength.

"You… you dare…?" Homura croaked. This Humiliation clearly wasn't what they had been subjected to before.

The shadow clone tilted his head, smiling behind a black mask. He was going to have fun with these two garbage.

"Yes. I dare," he said simply.

The Shadow Clone's left eye shimmered as the three-tomoe Sharingan spun into existence.

"You see," Kakashi's voice was cold as ice, "I have questions. And you two garbage will answer."

The Genjutsu they were subjected to was merciless.

Kakashi didn't offer kindness or respect to these garbage human beings.

Under the weight of his Sharingan and brutally precise mental attacks, the two old advisors cracked within minutes. Their mental power was very poor, I guess the years of living in peace and luxury had made them forget what they were.

First, Kakashi asked about his father. Although he knows some information from his past life, he doesn't know whether they were true or not so he is going to ask these two.

"The White Fang… Sakumo…" Koharu whimpered. Barely staying conscious from the mental pain.

Homura sneered bitterly. "He was too beloved. Too powerful, too noble, so something had to be done."

"You destroyed him," Kakashi said, voice calm.

Homura chuckled hoarsely. "We needed to. He defied the mission for civilians… a shameful act for a shinobi… but the real reason…" he coughed bloodily under the Genjutsu's pressure, "was because Hiruzen feared him and he couldn't be controlled like he had lately controlled Minato. And Danzo also feared him. If he had lived… the people would have rallied around him. He would have been made the Fourth Hokage…"

"And you couldn't allow that," Kakashi finished coldly.

"You should be grateful," Koharu hissed spitefully. "His death cleared the way for your generation."

The Sharingan spun faster. He was having a hard time controlling himself.

"And the Uchiha?" Kakashi asked, voice deadly soft. He knew the details but he wanted to confirm it so as to sound credible when he tells Sasuke.

Homura coughed again, unable to resist.

"Danzo orchestrated it… played on Hiruzen's cowardice… Itachi was manipulated… Danzo gained their eyes for his private use…"

"And Nawaki?" Kakashi asked, surprising them, they didn't expect this enemy would ask about the first Hokage's grandson.

For a moment, Koharu's gaze flickered with guilt, she knew what they had done was very unethical, but they had no choice otherwise if Hiruzen fell from power they would too.

"Senju Nawaki was… promising," Homura muttered. "He would have challenged us and with the prestige of the Senju and he would have become Hokage in the future so… accidents happen."

Kakashi closed his eyes for a moment. All for their grasping little fingers to keep clinging to power. He understood their greed for power, but this was too much.

He forced them to reveal the location of their blackmail archives, scrolls, ledgers, and evidence of decades of manipulation hidden away from the Hokage's eyes.

He wanted to have all of the blackmail scrolls they had.

A hidden room beneath their quarters.

Perfect.

Once the two elders had vomited out everything under Genjutsu pressure, Kakashi's shadow clone stood calmly.

The old advisors slumped against the stone, shaking, humiliated.

"You won't get away with this," Koharu whispered, she was a respectable elder respected by all the ninjas of Konoha how could she endure this Humiliation.

She was going to pay back this humiliation a hundredfold to this unknown enemy.

Kakashi crouched down beside her, voice almost kind.

"No one will even know you're missing."

'This idiot! Why does she open that dirty mouth?!' Homura next to her cursed in his mind, he didn't expect his old friend to have a tough mouth to someone who could kill them in an instant.

He prepared to plead for their life but was shut up when he saw the familiar ninjutsu.

"You…Hata-"

Kakashi's clone didn't let him finish his words, as he had gathered the lightning chakra in his hand.

A single, silent Raikiri, not a crackling flash like before, but a concentrated spear.

He plunged it through their chests, piercing their hearts in one instant.

They died without a sound.

Kakashi's shadow clone stood and calmly sealed their bodies into a scroll. Keeping their bodies just in case he needs to read their brains in the future.

He flooded the chamber with fire chakra, burning all evidence, leaving only ash swirling in the stale underground air.

With the hidden blackmail scrolls secured in Kakashi's hidden room in his house, Kakashi's clone dispelled itself.

And across the Village, the real Kakashi, standing atop a ruined house, stiffened as new memories flowed into him.

He closed his eyes for a long moment, feeling the enormity of what he had just done. But he didn't regret it at all.

'Father… I avenged you.'

In the distance, the fires of Konoha burned, but with it, a new fire kindled inside Kakashi's heart.

The chains that had bound the village in shadow for decades had been shattered. Now only Danzo remains.

A cold wind blew past him.

He smiled faintly.

'Now we can rebuild, properly.'
